Games...that's quite a bit. I'm not huge on the console bit because I'd like to have normal fingers without callouses sweatdrop So! PC it is! 3nodding

I don't quite get what you mean here... I'm a pretty hardcore console fan, and I don't experience that all that much.

I'm a Lady Macbeth with hand washing. I cannot be dealing with dirty hands and as a result, my skin on my hands is quite delicate with my already sensitive skin and therefore prone to the formation of callouses because there is no "hard" skin. I also don't play PS2 a lot because it's a mission to set it up because my mother is a perfectionistic whore and I have six cats that LOVE chewing wires. I believe that you may have over the years have desensitised your fingers and hands due to your over-exposure. Oh, and when I do play fighting games, I somehow play so hard that I get blisters and bruises so yeah ninja

Which reminds me of good times I have wth my friends beating the hell out of them at Soul Calibur 2 or SSBM (I apparently own with Dr. Mario) Which brings up the question (for me at least) What makes a good party game, or something to break out among friends?

I like Twister, myself. Then there's "dictionary" where you choose a random word and everyone has to come up with a definition. I also like improv. games (think Drew Carry's "whose line is it anyways?").

As for party video games, Mario Party is always a hit. Smash brothers too, as well as Soul Calibur.

Most party games I play usually involve copious amounts of alcohol...

Like we play this game called King, where you use a deck of cards. You place them face down around a BIG cup and each player draws a card. The following cards have these meanings:

Ace = Bust a rhyme. E.g. "Mary had a cat" "Who sat" "On a mat" "But shat", etc. until you repeat a word or can't keep the rhyme going. Sip/shot if you fail
2 = Nominate 2 shots/sips to one person or one each to two people
3 = Same as #2
4 = Same as #2 and 3
5 = Person to your left takes a shot/sip
6 = Person to your right takes a shot/sip
7 = Change direction
8 = You take a shot/sip
9 = Communal drink! mrgreen
10 = Thumb master. Person who has this card must place their thumb at any time on the table. Last person in the circle to pick up this and put their thumb on the table has to do a shot. If the thumb master hasn't done their mastering when another 10 is drawn, they take a shot.
Jack = You have to start chanting "Jack" over and over while trying to put your beverage on your head. Last to achieve this has to drink.
Queen = Rule time! Any rule and rules can be broken.
King = The object of the game! For each King you draw, you can place whatever you want in the cup in the centre. Mixer, booze, whatever! The last person to draw the last King though, has to drink the entire contents of the cup sweatdrop

It's a fun but dangerous game! ninja

We also play "Who shat?" So if it's between three people. One chooses a flamingo, another a buffalo and the third a goose.
E.g. Flamingo: "Goose shat!"
Goose: "Bullshit!"
Flamingo: "Who shat?"
Goose: "Buffalo shat."
Buffalo: "Bullshit!"
etc.
Often you forget which animal you are, which animal you were accused by and so forth and end up hopefully trashed. Eventually.

But video game wise? Usually Tekken works, but my friends are real girly girls so it hardly happens sad

Ooh, A Smash girl. Remind me to bring my Gamecube and a couple controllers to your house when I get the chance to visit. Then we can have a 2 on 1. *since I would assume neither you or Marcus are serious gamers*

And drinking games don't really catch my fancy, nor Oni's. Though Twister is always a good way to...er...see how far you can go... ninja ninja ninja

Hmm...all this talk about twister gets me thinkin'...what games would be good ways to bring out the mood?

Well thats one of the best parts about Smash, anyone can dominate with any charcter, as long as they the skill, timing and luck to do so.

Makes me wonder if anyone ever put a wager on one of their experiences in gaming...

I love playing as Kirby or Pikachu. Pikachu's quick attack is nice, and I love doing the rock drop as Kirby.

Of course, those hammers and light sabers are really fun. My sis and I love setting up a world where light sabers and hammers drop in every three seconds and then give each other like ten lives and try to see who can kill who first.

You know what's really awesome? Set up the items with the most frequent appearance, but turn them all off individually. That way, the only things that drop are containers, eggs, boxes and barrels, but they'll all be explosive. It's astounding how many explosions there are.

Seeing as I love DDR, and there are some songs I would wish to make into DDR songs, I would like to ask...

What ways are there to make your song in Stepmania?
