Jewlet turned around to see Tai. "Hi." She said in a cheery voice. "I'm trying to get any information I can without getting cought... this time..." She said the last part lightly. She smiled as her ears twiched.

"Wait, let me come with you, I know the swamps like the back of my hand. If you promise me safe passage out of this place, I can help you avoid the dangerous places."

Mizu wanted to go with them in order to find what they were doing in such a hurry. It seemed odd these people came out here of all places, where the water and the land lived together in a food chain. He did know that the Swamp Dragons wouldn't attack the group if he was with them; they knew the general of the Water Army by eyes alone.

"My name is Uzimi, I bear the smell of my race and what you smelt was probably the Water Army's lord, Mizu. I'm just a simple hunter wanting to escape this horrible place. Rumor tells of a lake where my kind can escape the war, but it’s too dangerous outside of this bog."

Mizu was persistent in going with them, he was certain this girl was important for some reason, but he was uncertain why.

"You are more than welcome to come if you like... but the place you are thinking of is called the lake of allies... it is kind of in a different direction than where we are going, however when we are done with this errand I will be more than happy to take you there." She said smiling kindly. "And my name is Rikku." She said bowing gracefully. "Now lets go."

"Well be careful... Do you mind if I hang out with you... I really have nothing better to do and, this seems pretty exciting... besides we are safer together than apart." He stated. "And have you gotten caught before?"

Maia squinted, she couldn't help but feel her tails bristling with Nerves. She was very wary, but the Sea Warrior didn't seem like a threat.....Yet. She padded a ways off and began to take a path tangled with roots and dead plants. The stench made her nose wrinkle, but she continued on, "This bog has grown since I was last here," She noted, "There is sure to be different paths that may lead us astray." The sound of humming animals and water dripping off in the distance distracted her. She shook her head violently and felt her paws slip. She almost went face-first into a puddle, but righted herself as if there was an invisible piece of land right above the puddle. She shook herself, happy that she'd avoided an embaressing experience and walked further into the bog. She didn't turn around, but made sure Rikku and Ruri were within hearing distance.

"Should we take the road to avoid getting lost?" She asked covering her nose. "What makes that awful smell....?" She asked looking around at all the overgrown plants and water. "This area is gross... But as long as it will get us there faster we got to keep going..." SHe stated looking over a 'Uzimi' curiously "Why do you walk so far away... YOu seem very cautious... are you ok?" She asked.


"Well you shouldn't just get caught all the time... it makes you sound helpless." He said a bit coldly. "Who was it... that saved you?" He asked sinking back into the water.

As they walked through the bog, Ruri kept getting her feet stuck in the water and the mud. She growled and pulled them out and wound up falling once or twice. "This is not a place for me or you two for that matter." She pointed toward Rikku and Maia. " But, at least Rikku is doing better than me..." Ruri looked down at her feet and wished the sun would come up. She sniffed the air again and the smell of the bog and the sea warrior filled her nose and she sneezed. Ruri looked over at Mizu, "You wouldn't happen to know anything about a man who escaped prison awhile ago? He was taken by men who smelled and looked like you." Then she grinned "Sorry, for being forward, I'm Ruri, by the way."

Maia shook her head, "Diseases, do we look like animals to you?" She asked ironically. She WAS in her fox form. It was almost pitch black, being surrounded by trees in the setting sun, and she almost called out a ball of fire to light the way, but she still didn't like the Sea Warrior, they didn't need the light. She remained silent, but gave in to her grudge when she almost slipped again, and called out a small, candle-flame sized ember that lit the path four feet in front of them. She still remained in an angry silence, shaking her head every few seconds.
