Another moss shield? Damn. The things were nothing if not annoyingly effective against bullets. He'd have to come out sometime, though... considering he had just trapped himself in one part of the hallway with whatever it was he had just been running from.
James felt the need for a little home-field advantage at this point.
Bending somewhat, he slid Eileen off of his shoulder and laid her against the side of the pipe. She wouldn't get any more soaked than she already had been, but he wanted his right arm at this moment.
Slipping the knife back into the sheath on his chest, James reached to his hip and pulled out a grenade; pulling the pin with the pinky on his left hand and then tossing it down the hallway towards Mozz's moss shield.
No, it was not going to explode. What it -would- do is begin spewing out a thick cloud of thin green smoke that started to fill the hallway. In an enclosed area, a tear gas grenade would start to blind and choke anyone that got themselves encircled by it. If Mozz's shield was imperfect, the gas would start to seep through. If not, it would create a NO FLY ZONE on the other side of the moss wall in the event that he decided he wanted to run for it.
Taking a knee in the water, James pulled an ammunition magazine from his bandoleer and replaced the one that was in his pistol with it. The nearly empty one (3 bullets) went back into the place the other had been. With the round in the chamber he was now ready to take on whatever came (13 rounds).

"Truer words have never been spoken!"
The reply came out smoothly, even as the Murmillion stepped forward, his very form smoking, the metal he wore scalding to the very touch. And he stopped right behind the bleeding and once more, apparently broken human. "Unfortunately--"
Just as the tear gas would come in, his sword arm would be raised, for that final, decisive blow. "It comes little too late. You have done me great injustice, for no one, but no one makes a fool out of me!!"
And as he spoke, that blade would come down in a single stroke, aimed to lop Mozz' head off his shoulder's, with a great spurt of whatever blood was left in that body.
The spray of life would cover Vahn's face, that carefree smile of a benevolent God who just got serviced showing clear as day, even as tears began welling up around his right eye.
If all went well, the tribute would finally be sacrificed... and the lifeless body would slump into the sewage water, leaving the smoking outline of the GodKing to stand before James' vision.

Colin was surprised by opaj's strength. Feeling himself pulled out from below the man while counteracting his own pull, Colin would use he momentum to his advantage and push off of the floor once his leg was free. If this worked, opaj would once again be in the path of the bullets, his sword arm pinned to the ground, making the attack obsolete and ineffective.
The knife would continue on its path, but would graze flesh and bone instead of plunging deep into the man's shoulder.
If it failed, Colin would feel bullets pierce through his torso, three through his ribcage near the outside of his body, one into his shoulder blade, one through left bicep, and two into his right thigh. The knife would also slide up and more than likely into opaj's throat.
He would be in severe pain, but the three that passed through his ribcage would pass through his body and into opaj's, more than likely into his chest and heart. Both of these wounds would more than likely end the man's sword strike before it landed its blow.

Spooky couldn't help Colin, he had already pulled the trigger and thus the bullets were in the air. Although he hadn't anticipated the stabbing pain in his arm as what could essentially be interpreted as a water dagger cut through his ACU and into the flesh. The soldier's only admission to pain was an almost unperceivable twitch, he frowned gravely and continued to shoot. Spraying the general combat of the two men with more gunfire, no longer caring about the safety of Colin. Or so it appeared. And at this point, a meatshield was going to be only so useful. His intention was to make both men stop moving, even though one was apparently on his team. Deeper thoughts were mulling through the soldiers head, however his intentions were unknown.

As the gas canister landed at his feat the monster loomed up behind him. He was still after him and for all of his attempts are redirecting him, it looked like Mozz was going to have to spend the rest of this day escaping near fatal situations. The smoke shot up with the initial burst of heat as it left the canister before sinking. From Vhans position directly behind him, but not kneeling as he was, it would cloud Vhan’s vision a moment before his. Mozz rolled to the side, landing flat on his chest. The strike meant to decapitate would miss, the sword most lily unable to redirect to Mozz’s new position in the haze.
Mozz tried his best not to cough as he willed his short mold wall down and stuck his hand out, releasing a cloud of spores in the direction the direction the Gas Canister had come room. Mozz was immune to his own spores, which were hyperallergenic to most humans. Even if it didn’t do anything else, it was still la second green cloud for Mozz to limply crawl him, coughing as he did so.
This is crazy...
This is crazy…
How the hell did I get here?
Mozz let his mold grow as he crawled, letting little bulbously clumps appear in it as he moved from tear gas to spore cloud. Coughing all the time, he couldn’t see.

opaj held Colin in place, and the momentum was already there--he would stab Colin in the gut, even as Spooky's bullets ravaged the both of them.
So, bodies aren't enough to stop bullets, opaj thought, his mouth set in grim determination. This isn't good. He would hold Colin in place as long as he can, additional wounds opening up over opaj's body as he forced his opponent to stay in place, forced his brain to keep on ticking after his body should have failed him.
He would not die alone. If he could at least take this one out, Angel might have a chance.
This was his last thought as he finally slumped over, having held Colin before him as long as he could. The bullets, the slit in his throat, his own self-inflicted wounds, and now the sewage that would surely lead to infection if he did somehow survive.
Things weren't looking good.

It wouldn't be quite so easy. A gas cloud expands to fill whatever container it is in. In open air, the cloud can get pretty large but thins out and disperses within a few minutes due to the airflow in the area. Because they were in a small underground tunnel, the gas would fill a huge section of the area before it was done expanding and would linger much longer. Even where James was he wouldn't be out of the gas cloud.
So clearly he wouldn't see Mozz's spores intermingling with it and drifting towards him.
There was just one problem with that... Unlike Mozz, Vahn, and the (thankfully so that she wouldn't notice herself suffering) unconscious Eileen, James was not coughing, choking, or being blinded by tears welling up in his eyes.
Why? Because he was wearing a GAS MASK.
Mozz dropped his shield, and James was already on one knee with his aim upon the end of the hallway where Mozz had been. If he tried to make a run for it, James would open fire at his right leg; firing several (4) shots at the shin, knee, and thigh area.

Colin, sword in gut, lead pumping into his body, coughed up blood, the crimson spilling out and seeping into his jacket. Sewage mixed with his blood, his body shaking from the pain he was feeling.
Still, he made no noise, his teeth gritted and grinding against each other. Opaj, finally collapsing, was still, his body ceasing any movement. Releasing his grip on the man's wrist, Colin would pry the man's fingers off of his katana, keeping the blade inside of him. If he left it there, it wold at least stem some of the bleeding, though not by much.
Slowly pulling his knife free from the man's throat, Colin would plunging it in a second time, angling it upwards so that it pierced through flesh into his jaw.
If either of them lived, they would remember the other forever.
With a muffled groan of pain, Colin struggled to prop himself up, leaning against the tunnel wall. Blood frothing around his lips, it was getting harder and harder to breath. One of the bullets might have punctured his lung. He was not in a good condition at all.

Hacking his lungs out, the rest of the tear gas would finally hit him, even as the rage at missing once again flowed through his veins. He was picking up on Mozz's body heat, and he could plainly tell that the b*****d had gotten away again.
But he was not out death's reach quite yet.
"STAY. STILL. DAMN. YOU."
He would be stabbing towards the ground, aiming to stab Mozz to death as he crawled around on the ground, licks of blackened flame spilling out every now and then as his anger began to take it's toll on him. The energy of the Sunstone contained within the Hand of Efreet was reacting, wanting to be freed and released-- which in the tunnel, would more than likely spell the end for than one of the several people stuck down here now.
Fighting past the tears, and the burning in his lungs, he slammed the elvensteel longsword down again and again, aiming to hack away Mozz' limbs one by one, if the bullets being fired from the other direction didn't manage to put the tribute down.
"Doesn't anyone respect religion anymore?!"
And a slow rumbling would steadily begin to build, shaking the tunnel..as something was coming from the direction of the Palace Sewers.

Gaby fought to stay awake. If she so much as closed her eyes, she would surely wake up dead. She felt pain all over, but her wounds hurt worse when she spoke. "Run," she said to Angel, "While they're both distracted." Gaby knew, however, that there was a slim chance of Angel leaving while Opaj was in danger. But she was not doing herself any good by staying there.

Seeing opaj slump ripped a cry from Angel's throat. The shield around her and Gaby dropped, only so that Angel could help the man she loved. She didn't care what she had to do to save him because she would do anything, even give her own life. The words from Gaby were nothing now. She would not leave him here like this.
She felt the presence of her God with her. Her hand came down into the sewage water and unleashed a lightning bolt from her hand, and since water didn't mix well with lightning it would work as a conduit, sending a huge wave of power and energy through the water at the men that had been attacking them. It connected with the water down the tunnel, along with the men.
The attack required a lot of Angel's energy. It was powerful, but with the aid of the sewage water it would be even more powerful. It would inflict a great amount of energy and heat damage.

CRUNCH! Amidst all the chaos, one might notice not only that steady shaking and rumbling, but also the sick boom of something colliding with a wall. The hole that led back to the Irrigation Sewers might've been made larger by the various explosions that'd rocked it, but not large enough for what was coming.
CRUNCH! A final blow and the hole was ripped open, made into a gaping expanse through which something significantly large might fit itself.
Something significantly angry.
The Stone King came thundering through His new entrance, in ignorance not only of the circumstances He faced inside this new tunnel, but also in making any preamble as to His arrival. He was as tall as the sewer ceiling and almost as wide, and with every rumbling step He took pipes were shucked aside, bending like wire and bursting like balloons. Water would begin shooting out of the broken pipes in torrents, the Stone King raging and throwing His heavy-handed fists about haphazardly, aiming to catch anyone and anything in His way.
Including the TREATMENT MAIN.

He was out of rounds in the PMAG.
Spooky was just about to reload when...
Okay, the two people basically dieing?
He had seen coming.
Gaby telling Angelbell to run?
He had seen coming.
Giant lightning bolt?
Not so much.
Of course though, electricity traveled in whatever the ******** direction it felt like going. This included into the water under Angelbell, who might not have been effected by the electricity, but Gaby was another matter altogether. She was already pretty close to death, and so that sort of attack was probably going to finish her off. Especially with her affinity for water. Opaj and Colin were on the ground, Colin was still basically in contact with Opaj and so they too would share a good helping over magically induced lightning. Spooky, well, he was alone and in pain. A lot of pain. The initial jolt had forced his legs to react in overly spastastic ways, he jumped into the air, banged his helmeted head on the overhanging ceiling of the sewer and collapsed with the ground. His knees buckled and he groaned miserably as steam from the water that had all but vaporized from the electricity wafted off him. The soldier lay face down in the water mulling over how much that hurt, and the general numbness that was going to keep him from moving for a few moments. Heroine or not, Angel was going to pay for that when he got up. Air bubbles floated up from the area around his mouth as he breathed unsteadily, the taste of rancid waste entered his mouth. Body twitching every once in a while. He had run out of ammo in both weapons, so shooting him with his guns was out of the question. Unless someone knew where his ammo was and could reload the complicated weapons easily.
His fingers and toes began to flex open and close slowly and painfully.

The licks of flame caused the dust to sparkle into cinders and the spores to go off in little firecracker snaps with every swing as his dispersed spores occasionally chaining against one another if they were close enough. Mozz rolled to his knees as the madman chased after him, hacking at the ground in a bestial rage. Mozz couldn’t be sure what way he was going, but he tired his best to hit a wall. Still in the cloud Mozz positioned a mold topiarie of himself going off towards palace sewers.
Meanwhile, as Mozz hit a wall, he let his mold crawl up it and lift him out off the water hopefully hiding him for the moment. The only problem would be that the tear gas, being heavier then the air, would allow him to be seen before Vhan, however it was prudent that Mozz get out of the sights of Vhan if it was at all possible.
However before he could get pulled out of the water, a surge of electricity went through his body. Parallelizing him for a moment as he was unable to even utter a word then he'd fall to the sewer with a splash....so...close.

Apparently all the bullets had missed or something. They were completely ignored. Mozz, stumbling blind through the smoke was spamming mold like crazy. The GodKing lashed at him, which seemed to nick or miss entirely as Mozz fell against the wall and tried to pull himself up... and then there was lightning? A surge of electricity shot through the sewer water. James, who was on his knee in the water to steady his aim, was hit by the flow and... flinched. Though it was a lot of electricity, it was being pretty heavily spread out throughout the sewers and as it is prone to following the path of least resistance it would not be very enthusiastic about jumping on a guy who was wearing a sealed rubber suit. Stealth suit FTW, you Snake-hating ********-" James stood up and strode forwards with both hands on his gun. He took aim at the man who was propped against the wall and fired several times. BLAM!
BLAM!
BLAM!
BLAM!
BLAM!Still walking forwards, he shifted his aim downwards to accommodate for falling into the sewer. BLAM!
BLAM!
BLAM!
BLAM!Maybe he was still missing. It was hard to tell, considering he was pretty close and not affected by the gas around them. If not, then Mozz had almost a dozen holes in him by this point and probably wouldn't be rolling around anywhere. Standing over the man from Bryant, the Kitten Hat pointed the gun downwards. Was he still alive? Was he not? It didn't matter to James. The guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and after all... his team started this fight. BLAM!The last bullet would go into a joint somewhere. James wasn't going to execute the man, but he was going to make damn sure that he stayed down and wouldn't be getting back up without a stretcher. Vahn Fah "Doesn't anyone respect religion anymore?!" Sh-kk!The empty gun spun to point at Vahn... who probably couldn't even see it at this point due to the gas. '...goddamn...'(( Of note: Vahn is gone now. He's going to be on follow with me from here out. ))
