Yumi let out a little yelp as he beat her in different areas with the Shinai. She tried to focus past the pain and the thirst that was growing in her. She knew that he said this was going to be tough. But she didn't think it would be that tough. Everytime he hit her with the shinai she corrected that portion of the stance. Even for just a few minutes later her muscles were already starting to get tense and slightly worn. The weights were already bearing her down. She was glad that she wasn't expected to actually deflect anything. Although the taking of a beating wouldn't be easy to her either.

Giglamesh would continue to circle yumi literaly swinging the shinai at her not like a katana but much more resembeling a baseball bat. The next strike would come extremly violently as her open stomach, the shinai would act like a whip due to force smacking her stomach with great force, so much it bends almsot completly around her side as he struck her. But she held the stance corectly so it wouldnt of done any damage, he was glad, but he knew the sting from that one had to be unbarable, she would only make slight meeps from the hits but other than that she doing doing far better most likely than she proably thinks. Thats where this is hard continueing to hold the stance, due to fatuige from the weights traning, or from the pain inflicted apon her eiter way is was down to her sheer will to withstand the torture.

Giglamesh would stop she had run out of time. She didnt get in no where near the traning giglamesh had wanted her to, and this was very unfortuanate as this was going to heavily hamper her progress, if she wouldnt hurry threw these thing or take them more serisouly it would take her forever to become a actualy member of the clan. Just like a shinobi must graduate the acdemy to be considered a shinobi, she must be able to pass the basics of the clan before she can be considered a actualy member, but compared to the acdemy becoming a part of this clan would be much much worse. ".....Youve ran out of time...they have just begun the next jutsu by now in the acdemy .....the next lesson is bushin no jutsu." Giglamehs would poo in to smoek and there would seem to be three of him each with a angrey and unhappy look. the middle one where gig was standing would swing both arm back right threw the faces of the bushin's. "There only images, but not genjutsu, genjutsu is solely in the mind everbody can see the basic bushin, and while its only a image it has many uses." Giglamesh would dispell the the bushins and wait for her, hopefully she would finish this much faster than she had her special traning.

((if you hurry threw this you cant continue to the stance traning. YOur have alreayd done 2/10 sucessful atempts so continue intill you have 10/10 then you can go to the next one, combat traning. each lesson youll have to complete 10 times, and if you do it fast enough you may get threw them before you get genin rank, then from the exp recived calculated at how much you post you should have around 500 exp. your usualy posts have 5 lines and there are ten actualy lessons.......the last will happen once you become genin though.))

Yumi let go of the Shinai that she had in both hands. With it she let the stance she was assuming fall. Still keeping the weights on she attempted the next jutsu that all the academy students would be learning. She was fine with the fact that she was separated from the other academy students for the training. She did a hand seal to focus her chakra for the Bunshin no Jutsu.

Satoshi thought at first that everything was going to go perfectly fine and that he would breeze through this training, for a change. However, it seemed that this was not the case in the least. Satoshi could feel himself become completely unbalanced without even a second of forewarning. Satoshi flung his arms wildly around hoping that by some magic the wind he pushed around with his flailing would allow him to retain his balance and keep moving with the exercise. However, it seemed that he was going to be unsuccessful this time around. Satoshi had to fall helplessly to the ground as he collided with a small thud that sent shivers coursing through his entire body. Satoshi rose from an odd lying position his body a little battered from the sudden fall. He was really no worse for wear, but he was sure that if these small falls would come back to haunt him if they kept up. He would just have to hope that he would be able to succeed from this point on and not have to worry about failing ever again. Satoshi moved back towards the beginning of the balancing pole counting his steps as he went just to see how far he had gotten before his failure.

By the time Satoshi had made it all the way back to the beginning he had counted only a few steps, perhaps three or four at best. Satoshi had seriously not even made a dent into walking on the balancing pole and he was soon beginning to think that he would have to keep his focus throughout the entire training if he wanted to have any semblance of a chance in succeeding. Satoshi stood before the pole now his body already shaking off the small light waves of pain that came every time he breathed in too deeply. Satoshi then began to do some very minor light stretching not wanting the small collision he had earlier to affect his next attempt. After a few seconds Satoshi felt assured that if he failed this time it would be do to his own lack of skill and not because he had not properly prepared stretched his body. Satoshi then lifted his leg to get atop the beam making sure to remain balanced so that he didn’t immediately fall off. Satoshi then took in a deep breath and began to walk once more on the beam. Hopefully this time he would fall within the first few steps and instead would pass this one time at least with flying colors.

Satoshi had hyped himself up becoming so confident that he had honestly believed that this time around he would easily blow through the balance beam and make it to the other side without even so much as a second thought. However, he had once again seriously underestimated the difficulty of the training exercise that his sensei had given him. His face contorted into one of shock and anger as he once again began to loose his balance on the beam. He felt his foot slip as it began to take the step forward causing him to fall forward as well. Luckily Satoshi had enough time and had worked on his reflexes enough that as he fell he was able to twist his body to narrowly dodge the balance beam. If he hadn’t of done that he would have surely collided with it face first and his injuries would have been much more severe. As it was because of his little maneuver Satoshi simply landed flat on his back once more the dirt and small rocks seeming to try and force his way into his back as he laid there. Satoshi let out a giant sigh not happy with the little to no progress he felt he was making. Satoshi then slowly forced himself back onto his feet the not very comfortable ground giving him some incentive with his efforts to rise up once more. Satoshi then took a few seconds to brush the gravel off his body realizing that when this was all over and Satoshi went home he was probably going to have to simply throw away his clothes. With all the training he had been doing his clothes were pretty much ruined with all the sweating and tears that were beginning to cover his clothing.

Satoshi slowly began to make his way once more back to the beginning counting his steps as he walked. When he reached the first part of the beam he quickly surmised that he had not even made it one step further then he had in his first attempt. The fact that he had not progressed any further did aggravate him a little. However, in a way this was really a good thing. Satoshi was not angry in that he was planning on giving up, but was infuriated that he had not gotten any better and thus wanted to prove to himself that he could do just that. Because of his recent failure he was more determined then ever and would not stop until he had walked across that beam ten times and had completed the training regiment that his Senju Master had given him. Satoshi forced his body to release all the stress that was starting to build within him releasing it from his body like flowing water. Satoshi then opened his eyes taking the beam within his sights. He then took a deep breath as he climbed back atop it. He kept his gaze fixated on the beam itself as he moved across it each step hopefully going to take him further to his goal. This time Satoshi planned to succeed and go on to do it nine more times.

There were quite a few times during this trip on the beam that Satoshi had been almost certain that he was going to fall. In fact some of those times Satoshi had almost closed his eyes in fear of the eventual pain that would accompany the fall. However, each time Satoshi caught himself and forced his eyes open quickly surmising that his fall would definitely be imminent if he kept his eyes closed. After all Satoshi’s senses were not nearly heightened enough to try and balance across a beam blind. Before Satoshi even realized it he was already on the other side of the beam having succeeded for his first time since the beginning of this training exercise. Satoshi barely held back the need to jump up and down in excitement. Only sheer willpower had kept himself in check for he knew that if he got cocky about it he would soon find himself in the same position he had just been in moments ago. Satoshi needed to keep his wits about him so that he could complete this training in the shortest time possible and continue on his route to graduating from the academy and becoming a genin. Satoshi turned back around to face the end of the free beam which had now become the new beginning. From his new angle it almost felt like he was facing a completely new beam which had not been conquered yet and was just waiting for him to test it out so that it could throw up its obstacles in order to disrupt Satoshi’s balance.

Satoshi gazed upon his new goal forcing himself to concentrate on only that so that he could visualize his success. Satoshi then cracked his back a bit realizing that he had become a bit tense during his walk across the beam. Satoshi then let out a few quick breaths not wanting himself to loose this small success and keep up with his winning streak. When Satoshi was absolutely positive that he had once again stretched out his body he began to move up to the beam. He forced his right leg up allowing it to carry himself up onto the beam. When Satoshi found himself balancing on the beam once more he slowly began to walk forward. Satoshi could only hope that his training would allow him to move across the beam once more and keep up with his winning streak until his ten attempts were complete.

Satoshi had apparently learned his lesson in his previous success and had made sure to not even allow the thought of closing his eyes cross his mind. Satoshi quickly attributed this little success to his own greater success as once more he found himself at the end of the balancing beam having moved across it in order to be successful. Satoshi could only give a great sigh of relief. He had succeeded once again this time around, but unlike with his prior attempt this time he had come much closer to failing. In his prior attempt Satoshi had blown through the course rather easily though in his mind it had seemed a bit harder. However, this time around he had clearly seen how much closer he could have been to failing in his training exercise. His legs had moved wobbly across the beam the entire time and on more then one occasion he had luckily regained balance after loosing his footing a bit. In the end he had succeeded, but he had come so close to failing that Satoshi could only attribute his passing at this point on sheer luck and not on skill in the least.

Satoshi was again stood at the beginning of the beam the exact location he had been two attempts ago. It still amazed him that he had succeeded two times in a row. However, the exercise wasn’t even close to being finished yet and he still needed to complete it eight more times. Satoshi wasn’t exactly sure if he would be able to keep up his winning streak, but if he wanted to keep succeeding he was going to need to keep his hopes up and make sure that he didn’t get down on himself. The second he began to believe that he was going to fail was the moment that he would surely fail. Satoshi began to once more do his light stretching keeping up with the breathing exercises that he had been doing since the start of his training way back during the time when he had learned how to perform the bunshin no jutsu. When Satoshi was sure that he had prepared his body enough for enough he moved up to the free beam. He had to wipe the sweat off his brow as he was clearly nervous, but he was not deterred. Satoshi then made his way atop the beam his eyes moving from his feet to the other end of the beam and back again. Satoshi then began to move across the beam making sure to take his time so that he did not immediately fall once more. The entire time Satoshi kept trying to keep himself balanced hoping that he would succeed once more and have one less success needed in order for him to be finished with this training exercise.

Satoshi had maintained his composure the entire time while moving across the beam moving with the grace and skill that Satoshi was actually quite surprised that he even had. Satoshi was positive that this must have been sheer luck that he had moved him across the balancing beam. Satoshi was sure that this must have been luck for one second Satoshi was at the beginning of the pole and the next second he was on the other side. Satoshi had been barely conscious of his movements as he walked across the balancing beam effortlessly. Satoshi honestly wondered where this sudden increase in skill had come from since he still hadn’t unlocked the secrets to completing this training exercise yet. Satoshi could only tell that as he moved across the beam he had not run into a single moment where he had felt that he was going to fall. He had simply moved across the beam as if he would on a flat surface, his feet not once tripping up on one another. Satoshi leapt off the opposite of the pole taking in his surroundings both glad and surprised at his accomplishment. Satoshi then turned around to face the new beginning of the free beam. Satoshi was going to have to jump up once more, but for the moment he just stood there honestly amazed at the insane achievement that he had just accomplished.

Satoshi began to perform the light stretching and breathing that was necessary before each and every attempt of his training. He wasn’t sure how he would fair this time around, but Satoshi was positive that all this proper warm ups is what had brought him to this point thus far. After a few seconds Satoshi felt he was ready to once more try and make his attempt on the balancing beam. Satoshi was a little unsure if he would succeed this time, but he wasn’t about to give up because he had a small case of the jitters. He would take whatever happened in strides and keep pushing forward until he reached his goal that was just the type of person that Satoshi was. Satoshi then made his way atop the balancing beam once more feeling that all these training exercises were beginning to feel a bit like déjà vu when it came to his preparations. He then slowly began to make his way across the beam his feet moving unsteadily. Satoshi would just have to keep the faith that he would succeed once more.

Every step that Satoshi took was some nervous movement that Satoshi was sure would bring his inevitable fall. Normally this was the way Satoshi felt for all his trainings, but eventually he would fall into a sense of security that would either be proven false or true. However, this time around Satoshi wasn’t even given the luxury of that sense of security as a bead of sweat from a prior run through caused his failure. Satoshi felt his whole body slip sideways as his foot moved awkwardly on almost microscopic puddle of sweat that forced his foot to bend in a weird direction and push him right off the beam. Satoshi once again found himself waving his arms frantically like some type of humming bird or butterfly. As he fell to the earth Satoshi thought for a moment that all his flapping was going to have him take off suddenly and he would end up soaring through the sky to afraid to slow down or else plummet to his death. Perhaps luckily for him his flight did not occur and instead he was welcomed by the painful earth that seemed to move all of its most jagged rocks in order to cushion his fall in the most annoying way. Satoshi arched his back on the fall the pain nearly bringing his eyes to tears. Satoshi didn’t generally cry it was just that he had expected the small rocks to fiercely attempt to pierce his skin like they had. Satoshi clenched his hands into small fists as he slowly rose after a few seconds and moved his hands to brush off the rocks that had seemed to imbed themselves into Satoshi’s very flesh. Satoshi wasn’t necessarily angry at the training exercise, but he was indeed a little furious as the earth that seemed to get only rougher the more he fell onto it.

Satoshi made his way slowly once more to the end of the balancing beam that he had started on before his fall. He took his time as he walked over in order to allow the pain that had been coursing through his body to make its course and thus stop. By the time Satoshi reached his destination the pain in his back had subsided to only small pangs of teeth gritting pain that came only when Satoshi suddenly stretched out his back. Satoshi then began to do what he knew was probably gong to bring pain, stretching his body in order to relax it. When he had fallen onto the ground Satoshi had instinctively tensed up his body anticipating the fall a mistake commonly made to those not properly trained. Satoshi knew that he should have relaxed his body in anticipation for the fall, but knowing and doing were two different things. After a few seconds Satoshi had properly gone through the breathing exercises and stretches that he had so meticulously been performing throughout the whole day. Satoshi then gazed upon the goal before him as he rose to stand atop it once more. Satoshi then kept his eyes glued forward as he took one step after the next his mind not hoping, but willing himself to succeed this time around.

Despite the pain that seemed to make its presence known at the worse possible moments, Satoshi felt like he was breezing through the balancing beam this time around. Before he had even time to rethink all the steps he was taking he was already on the other side looking back at his accomplishment. Even though he had already moved past the balancing beam a few times already he was still amazed every time he had accomplished his task. Satoshi didn’t really consider himself the most agile shinobi that lived within Iwagakure or even called Konohagakure his home. Satoshi didn’t even really believe he had that much more dexterity then the Akimichi clan of his home whose disadvantages when it came to agility were well known. However, despite his own personal doubts about his ability he was still completing the balancing beam exercise at a rather good pace. At the rate he would be going he would be done with this whole mess in a few more attempts. Satoshi didn’t want to get his hopes up too much at this point in time, but he was still quite excited by the prospect of learning a new jutsu shortly after completing this training. When Satoshi had first come to Iwagakure with the other survivors becoming a genin though being one of the goals he had was something he had considered would be far in his future perhaps not even occurring until after Konohagakure was taken back from the Masters. However, Satoshi was beginning to see that goal closing in on the horizon. Satoshi would now just need to remain patient and steady on his course so that he could wear the headband of his village proudly and create a new goal this time as a real shinobi of the village hidden with the leaves.

Satoshi leapt off the beam from where he was standing, already at the end of it. He didn’t want to get cocky and attempt turning around while standing on it only to attempt to walk once more to the other side. Satoshi was soon beginning to think he was more dexterous then he first believed, but he even knew that such a feat would only make his training all the harder. With Satoshi’s feet firmly planted once more on the ground this time facing the opposite direction that he had been walking just moments, his body remained taut with anticipation. Satoshi barely went through his stretches and breathing exercises so ready was he to begin to walk across the balancing beam again. Satoshi didn’t even allow the thought of his possible failure enter his mind as he climbed atop the beam once more. Satoshi should have known better then to rush into his exercises so quickly, but he couldn’t really contain himself. He had allowed his mind to think of the future and with those daydreams came the impatience that would bring about any normal shinobi’s downfall. With Satoshi beginning to move across the beam the only thing that could be done was to wait and see if that impatience would do to Satoshi like so many other shinobi of the past. For Satoshi’s sake he would need to be the exception for his body had become so battered by his other failures that he certainly couldn’t taken too many more falls like the ones he had before.

Satoshi was surprised how steady his footfalls were falling on the balancing beam. He had a horrible feeling coursing throughout his gut that during this attempt he was going to fail and badly hurt himself. Of course this could have been contributed to just some training jitters and the prospect of getting hurt like he had before, but he couldn’t help, but feel very wary of the feeling growing inside him. Satoshi stayed on the move making sure not to tarry too long in fear that he would loose his momentum and not be able to continue. However, in the end it was not his lack of momentum that was his undoing, but rather an excessive momentum that did him in. Satoshi soon found himself moving too fast on the balancing beam, his body tilting back and forth unsteadily. Satoshi attempted to slow down, but every chance he got only ended with barely recoverable slips that would have left him lying once more on the hard earth. Barely a few steps from his goal Satoshi made one last step to slow himself down and protect himself from becoming possibly badly injured in the event of a possible fall. During this almost immediate stop Satoshi kicked forward his right foot too quickly and knocked into the left foot which had been remaining on the beam to keep him balance. Satoshi only muttered a small curse barely audible as he fell forward barely twisting his body so that it dodged a near impact with the beam and landed painfully on the ground beneath. Satoshi allowed his body to rest for a few brief moments on the cold ground allowing the coolness to put a damper on the burning sensation pumping throughout his body reminding him that he was not lying down completely by choice.

When Satoshi finally decided he was ready to continue, he rose shakily from his almost fetal position. It had taken him longer then he would have liked to stand on his own two feet, but eventually he had accomplished just that. In a way he was glad that his sensei didn’t help him out in these moments. Satoshi wasn’t too proud a man, but he felt that by pushing himself on without being coddled it hardened him for the necessary world of the shinobi and would allow him to better recuperate from things other more less experienced shinobi like himself would not be able to. Satoshi brought in a deep breath as he moved back to the position he had started this little training course on. He counted the steps as he went allowing the fact that he had gotten so close to be a reassurance that eventually he would succeed. He only needed to go a bit farther and when he did then he would be able to rest happily knowing that he had not failed himself nor his sensei. Satoshi cracked his back and neck some as he once again started to go through the motions of properly stretching his body and relaxing it. Surprisingly Satoshi felt rather nimble in barely half the time it normally took him when preparing himself. From this point on Satoshi would just have to believe in himself and try once more. Satoshi climbed atop the balancing beam putting both arms by him in order to give him a better chance of making it. Satoshi then slowly began to push forward his mind on the task at hand and not allowing himself to wander too far astray.

Satoshi was moving along the beam thinking that everything was going to be fine. Satoshi had almost convinced himself that he was going to be successful, but at the last moment something went horribly wrong. Satoshi suddenly lost his balance only a few feet before the goal line, so to speak. Satoshi attempted to catch the beam as he fell right past it his reflexes not good enough to allow him to grab onto the balancing beam before falling straight on his face. Satoshi slowly rose from his lying position his body feeling very painful at that moment. Satoshi didn’t have to even give a second thought to know that he had seriously messed up his body in that fall. Satoshi quickly decided that he was going to need to at least rest this time around if he wanted to have any hope of continuing with his training. With that in mind Satoshi laid back allowing the air to fill his lungs and for his body to relax for a bit.

Satoshi had been keeping his eyes closed for some time now. He had allowed the cold air and welcoming earth to relax him into a state of stupor as he waited for his energy to replenish and some of his wounds to begin to mend. He wasn’t seriously hurt what was more dangerous was the fact that his stamina had taken a huge hit. At the rate he was going he was liable to simple pass out due to exhaustion. Seeing as he doubted his Senju master would have appreciated having to take care of him for a whole night when the mess could have been easily avoided Satoshi decided to just make Zephyr-sama wait and not force the man to have to heal and baby sit. Most shinobi and certainly Satoshi during his earlier stages of his past training would have been angered at the fact that he needed a break. They would have been furious that the training regiment took such a toll on their body that they had to stop half way in order to rest up to prevent feinting. However, Satoshi no longer saw his resting as such a horrific and pathetic thing. He didn’t believe that his body was necessarily weak, but rather that this exercise was just difficult. Satoshi was glad for it because it showed him that this his Senju sensei did not believe that Satoshi was some weakling and thus wanted to test the academy student with exercises that he knew would be both physically and mentally taxing on the younger student. Satoshi would force his way through this exercise like he had done with all the others. When it was over not only would Satoshi feel gratified by his efforts, but he would probably instantly see the results of his training. Satoshi couldn’t wait to blow through this and become a genin. Though Satoshi was normally against fighting a part of him wanted to begin a friendly spar with one of his fellow students so that he could see the fruits of his labor and also get a feel for how much his body had improved. He would be no good in a fight if he was still anticipating the movements of his body before all the training. It would be like blocking a punch when you could have easily dodged, but not knowing such since you had not become comfortable yet with your own speed.

Satoshi’s eyes fluttered open realizing that he had rested enough and needed to get back to work. He had things to do and exams that he wanted to be able to take. If he wanted to reach his goal he couldn’t be lying around forever smelling the roses so to speak. Satoshi rose to his feet noting just how easily he had done so and figuring that the small bit of rest he had done was already beginning to pay off. Satoshi then moved back towards that ominous balancing pole as he brushed the gravel and dust off his clothes. He regarded the balancing beam not with disdain, but rather the respect that one would hold for a worthy opponent. It was a little funny to watch a shinobi regard an inanimate object in such a way, but for Satoshi the beam had certainly deserved such from him. It had humbled Satoshi and had shown him his faults as well as his potential. Satoshi now just needed to take himself the rest of the way by reaching that potential and pushing on further. As Satoshi leapt onto the balancing beam he smiled a bit. Satoshi wasn’t just going to perfect this exercise he was going to do so much more. Satoshi didn’t believe in the word ‘perfect’ for it meant that one could not get any better that they were at their pinnacle. However, Satoshi believed that there was no end that someone could only get stronger and Satoshi wanted to be living proof of such. Satoshi then began to move across the pole each step showing just how determined the academy student was when it came to completing the exercise and reaching his dream.

Satoshi made his way across the balancing beam making sure to go at a steady pace in order to not cause himself to fall once more. Satoshi could feel himself moving across the beam with little difficulty the brief moments where his foot seemed to slip slightly off course quickly fixing itself so as to be only a minimal concern. Satoshi quickly noticed the heightened ability that his determination and good mentality was achieving him. He had always heard talks from teachers telling their students that thinking positive was a major factor in training. However, Satoshi had never honestly believed that it was really the case. He was indeed a little suspicious of it believing that perhaps thinking positive might help a bit, but it could only take you so far. After that it was all skill and training that would have to lead you the rest of the way. Now Satoshi was beginning to think differently on the matter. Satoshi still believed that a shinobi needed hard work and skill, but he also placed a positive outlook on yourself on a higher pedestal. Satoshi didn’t necessarily believe that it could help you bust through walls that you thought were impossible, but rather was something said so that a shinobi did not do the opposite. Thinking positive helped a little, but what really hurt was doubting oneself and thinking negatively. If one set out believing they would fail then indeed Satoshi was beginning to see that they would. It would become a self fulfilling prophecy where the doubter would always meet exactly his expectations, failure. It actually made Satoshi just a bit proud of himself as he continued to move across the balancing beam. Satoshi was quite proud of himself for though on an occasion he had been known to doubt himself he had always tried his hardest to push away such negative thoughts. He always tried to fill his mind with thoughts that would help him push further and keep him determined so that he could accomplish each and every exercise.

Satoshi had become so lost in his own daydreams about the role of positive thinking that he had hardly noticed the fact that he had reached the balancing beam’s end. Satoshi clapped his hands once in triumph as he leapt lightly onto the ground. Satoshi then turned a bout face in order to reposition himself for the next attempt. Satoshi was doing so well that he didn’t want to stop and jinx himself. He wanted to keep thinking of the future and keep thinking one step ahead. For Satoshi it would always been the next move for such thing would a detrimental help during a fight against any type of opponent. Satoshi then began to bend low in order to stretch his legs and then grabbed his arms and pulled them in order to better relax them as well. Satoshi moved through his pre-attempt rituals preparing every part of him for the exercise to come. When Satoshi felt that he had stretched and breathed enough he took a giant leap onto the balancing beam. Satoshi now once more on the beam stretched his arms to help with the balancing and headed out. Since the start of this exercise Satoshi had only one goal in sight and he didn’t plan to stop until he reached that goal.
