Anything not directly contained is consumed mercilessly, and it he connects with a Lance* he can basically turn it into a vacuum. Such abilities to keep one's ki to one's self would halt any latent energy from touching just mist, but if a Lance* pierces one's aura, thats basically setting a straw to something and setting that one really good chick we all know on super-suck.))

((*Lance here meaning a tendril of pure light and energy that cannot affect the physical, but can latch onto any energy and begin an exponential drain.))
