After her distasterous attempt at the Forge, it was nice to see one thing was going well for her today. With a bit of effort, the girl managed to make to her destination. Just one unfamiliar orb remained.

Sometimes it seemed so close he felt he could reach out and touch it, only to have a random swirl of wind push him right back. "Frustration" couldn't begin to encompass it.

It was with bittersweet feelings of success that he managed to clumsily land his glider before the shrine. He hesitated before picking up the blessing, realizing that all he had now was the hateful Forge.
He was running out of ways to stay busy, out of ways to feed the curiosity. And then what?

The machines that flew over the sky held a strange place in her heart. She'd finished the cliffs but she wanted to see the view from high up again. Though it was a little terrifying she continued onward, winding up the glider and watching as it took off, standing in the middle of the glider.
Looking into the distance she smiled happily. This was what she wanted to see, this is what she needed right now. Now if she could make it through without falling...

It was going horribly wrong in her mind and she screamed once or twice, nearly losing control completely. It was in shambles, it had been on fire and she was part of it. It was deafening to try and listen to and she felt the glider plummet, shaking to try to get it stabilized again. "Don't give up, don't fall." She told herself.

Anxiety was still running though her, butterflies churned in her stomach and it made her airsick. She was going to fall, surely. Down to her death with many others who had passed through before her. Mel'ae struggled to keep her balance with the glider as they continued through the fog. The distant islands were only slightly closer and she was losing altitude. She had to make it though, she had to.
