Hello I might join but I have one...not sure if it has been said yet.
You know your a band geek when you can pick up anything that is like a flag and start twirling it or do the routines with nothing in your hands while walking in public places.

you know you're a band geek when you start quoting from your BD's before game pep talks in class.
I havnt done it,but our drumline does it all the time.

When you're comfortable enough to say "Can you please do me." to your fellow members. Even if it's just button up your uniform.

u know ur a band geek when u march a year before your allowed and letter in 9th grade but get nothing for it till ur junior year ...(that will be me )
you talke it as a compliment when caled a band geek
its band geek not nerd

You know your a band geek when you play approxamitly 10 different instruments and carry a different one of them around with you every day.
"Oh, its Wednesday, I think I'll carry my Bari Sax today"
The 10 different instruments part is me, the carry it ever where is my friend cool

you know your a band geek when you use musical terms to explain all the other subjects in school. i do it way too much

You kno u are a band geek when...
-u kno every section whore
-u have favorite seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen
-ur section pretty much already knows next years section leaders
-u kno all of the cheerleader's routines
-u can finish a whole water bottle the last 5 minutes before u get off the bus (we were required to drink a bottle before getting off the bus cuz itwas so hot!)
-u can play ur part on the piano
-u make up harmonies for ur chorale warmups and the BD sometimes yells at u for it
-u know how to eat in band without the BD noticing

DiddleFreak61387 You know you're a band nerd when you start to sing past shows and your friends join in. My friends did that once, they were walking down the hall way and one asked how this part in one song goes, and they got to it and on the next downbeat they all busted into last year's show.. Oh gosh, my friends and i do that all the time. sweatdrop

[Elly Bee] You know you're a band geek when your friends are so sick of you talking about band so much, that they come along to practices and get hooked on band geekism. xd Oh yes, me and my band friends have recruited a few of our non-band friends and they didn't regret it xd

You know you're a band geek when:
You flat-out call youself one
You freak out when your hear last year's show
You started to cry when the season was over
You still ran through your shows in your head
You know all of your spots still on the field months and months after
You speak musical terms and every one gives you a strange look
Your favorite class is band
You refuse to go to skip school and go to an amusement park because you'll miss band
ALL ME lol

ur know ur band band geek when more than 2 of activities in school involves and when u can play more thn 2 instruments and when half of ur classes relates to music

You know you're a band geek when you can play the note of the school bell, and fool the band director into thinking class is over.
You also know you're a band geek when you go in for resource and stay for the entire hour and a half.
Same for when you join jazz band, are in band, and go in for mornings to practise, all on the same instrument.
My favorite one was the bell, it only worked once though, cause then the actual bell rang.

OMG WE DID THAT when we were in disney last yr, we were about to march in about 2 hrs when me and my friends started humming all our parts to "you can call me al", b/c we were playing that in the spectrolight parade later im a trumpet, so i had the melody, our one guy was a sax, and my friend was on mellophone. the piccolo soloist was the last one with us, but she wouldn't do it, so i did her solo then she yelled at me for doing it wrong xd
