Heeyyy back from the trip!
It was sooo goood, we had a really nice room on a super high floor so I got to stare out at the city lights in the early hours of the morning.
It's changed so much since I visited a few years ago, so many new high rise buildings that just weren't there 6 years ago when I went last.

Had a bunch of different meals out, went to the history museum which now incorporates the new skyline into it, was kinda cathartic watching my formative years get tarmaced over lol.

Still enjoyed though, met some really interesting people who I'll never see again, those interactions are always the most fun lol.

Aww Ryd I hope the power stays strong and you guys all stay safe, we got a fair bit of snow and ice here too but nothing as crazy as what you have.
Those pics do look really nice to me but I don't have to feel how damn cold that must be.

Heey Mag! That is the worst, PCs always break at the worst time, my last one broke after I moved house and has already spent a bunch of that.
Wound up using a Kindle Fire for most of my things but I couldn't recommend it, I gotta have a keyboard otherwise I'm too lazy to type.
I wound up doing my current PC on intsallments, glad I did it but you gotta triple check that interest before signing one.
Is it possibly repairable or is it the big oopsy where it just doesn't work anymore?

Damn ik it's a storm but I'd be the same way I can't just let trash build up, it starts to occupy space in my mind until I can get rid of it.

Been an easy one for me today, think I picked up a lil something while away but it's not too bad so I've gone for a walk and just been playing pocket camp since.
Been grinding those damn cookies so I could finish up on my library, even got a premium item just so I can have Blathers in there researching fossils xp

glad you're getting to rly veg out and do the nails and teetotal some pocket camp and omg that library is so cool! i so gotta put more time into it. altho i'm glad i have it waiting for me still when i get caught up. i'm still too addicted to sims 4 atm and with the new hardware i'm able to leave it open on a side screen regardless what i'm playing lol.

i gotta do catwalk and fashion report on ff14! i keep zoning out on sims 4 lol here we go. im in over a foot of snow! i wanna see some snow monsters! lets gooo!

that was from scooby doo wasnt it? i remember it where ever its from and it is indeed terrifying lol. glad the vacay is going well! super addicted to the sims still. bf is backing off raiding so i'm building up my tank and gonna try to help run some of my own wow raids for a while. tough but i'll give it a shot anyway. gotta get a load of wood delivered and packed on porch today. we went thru the last pick up truck load in 20 days because of the extreme temps and snow.

got hypothermia warning for tonite so hoping that delivery doesnt get put off. supposed to come this evening!

morning. was up till 7am keeping fire. did get some kindlin chopped and got some firewood hauled in but its a tad wet. was cut in summer tho but split small yesterday so its a bit tough getting it burning but hopefully not much creosote that way. i just had turkey and stuffing and am stuffed and already sleepy again lol.. got a person rly interested in the house who has to find a big home and be moved out by march so maybe this will be our ship sailing in. one of em has to be lol

my sims house is getting fancy af.. its outta control lol. they have a retro event feb 4th. they have a discord even. 2000s items like blow up chairs... 2000s... is now retro.. cri..

Still getting paid so I am not going to complain too much about it xp

Gotta be super careful with creosote, it's competely banned where I live because people burned wood with it on and they breathed it in

Pretty sure I actually don't have much adulting to do today. Worked butt off yesterday so don't even need a work out today I'm determined to chill and play some games. we ended up pulling a stack of wood we forgot about from last year out of the plastic and thought it might have not survived since it had been kinda wet last fall. but i opened it up to dry alot since then and its good! hoping it'll get us thru monday tue and wed cuz we drop to like 0 degrees and a few above those nights.

we split buncha new kindlin last nite to burn this stubborn wood. its not fresh cut so that's good but it was snowed on when we got it and its not wanting to burn. i think i'll finally look fwd to spring this year... lol

Ear thing has spread to the other so woke up feeling like I was underwater, been dizzier than ever but ploughing through, thank god for codeine so I don't have to feel the actual pain at least.
Got the last 2 days work outta the way and catching up on all my dailies this evening cause I did none on anything yesterday, my pocket camp gonna be teeming lol.

Sooo much snow where you are Rydia idk if I could cope with that, hope that wood stops being so darn sudden.
