When the Ki spike came, Torment's aura visibly shifted as well, looking as if it spiked as well, without doing so at all. The nimbus of light shfted to take on a pink hue as the wave washed over him, swirled around causing some visible strain, but a hand raised back towards Keno as the wave passed back out from his form, some of the energy passing into him, but most of it redirected with hostile intent, tainted by his own energies. Afterwards the nimbus would seem greatly diminished, but wouldn't stay as such for long. The rush of energy passed through him into Phoenix Feather as it darted back up to his hand, sending a wave of healing energy into his arms from the mana accretion. The flames upon his back dimished slightly once again as the nimbus was reinforced threefold; the arcane, regained Wave, and Soul Forge all contributing.
Shar, meanwhile, was still gathering white wisps around him as he lifted the staff from the Left half of Obelisk Unlocked, the weapon seeming to lose its glow slightly. The wisps around Shar began to charge through the air around him in their ever growing numbers, creating another numbus of light, but with a very different purpose than the one Torment had up. His armor had been reinforced, and two fingers were set to the Staff, pulling back a shaft of light ready to be loosed at a moment's notice.

Keno seemed to laugh as the attack passed straight through him. Even after making the mistake of phasing a bit, his opponent hadn't caught on that he was dispersed, appearing to be whole, but molecularly as dense and transferable as air. As his opponent made his move, Keno erupted into a harsh taunting laughter as his Mineral coated body appeared behind Torment, his right arm harshly grasped about the man's neck. "You are a fool after all," he said tauntingly. "Trying to manipulate my abilities against me.....foolish....very foolish indeed." His laugh had died to an ominous chuckle as he tightened his grip on his prey's neck. He was thoroughly entertained with this. No matter what everyone was able to use some sort of precognition, or copying tactic. Though KenoTao would very well do something unheard of and transform...it was more fun this way. Everyone tried so hard to stand a chance...but that wasn't likely. Not even Tali would be a threat. But then again...there was another demon out there stronger still. It would be a lot of fun playing with that guy...except Keno would still die. His grip tightened yet again at the thought of this, his Mineral providing more than enough endurance to the side effects of being so close "You're a practical sort of warrior. You know how to keep yourself alive," his voice announced in a cunning deviance. "But I...I'm not so reckless as other homocidal maniacs. If I were, you could have won long ago. No no I think I'll let you live. Live foolishly and continue hoping....hoping you don't meet a killer who will kill no matter what. Unfortunately I can't satisfy my blood lust if I get bored. You won't scream for your life will you?" Once again his grip became tighter. "No it won't. Even if I stopped playing with you, you wouldn't scream. You wouldn't be afraid. That's just boring....maybe you're not a fool afterall. You managed to stay alive like the others. Truly this place has the creme of the crop." He released his grip on the man's neck and vanished under the breeze of a light wind. He needed to go hear someone scream. France was supposed to be nice this time of year....

When Keno grabbed Tor's throat Shar was just about ready to sink an arrow right into his Brother to explode around him, but stopped upon Torment's direction once his words turned less than homocidal towards himself. Once Keno had released him and left he fell to the ground and hit with a thud and a sickening crack. The wisps around Shar faded and sucked back into his form as the rest of the active Soul Forge elements began to fade away as well. He landed next to Tor as his wings flickered out of existance to turn him rightside up.
Shar wiped a bit of blood from his lips as he spoke, "Are you going to be ok? I don't need you dying on me, again." Tor chuckled a bit as he tried to sit up, "I'll be fine, been through much worse. A death or two here and there." Shar chuckled, "Just one or two? You're going to slay me with laughter alone if you keep that up. Come on, lets get you home. I bet Kalie would be more than happy to lick your wounds if you cannot." Tor just nodded as their forms passed from existance in this area, he couldn't say no to that.
((^_^ Sleep is teh fun anyhow. I had a great time, best fight I've had in a while. ^_^))

(( We all hang out at my Grandma's house. She designed her house to be the party house. We have most of our parties there. She has a huge backyard with a basketball court and a huge treehouse. ))
