Cid High-Wind You know you're a band geek when... You have songs from your previous shows on your MP3 Player. You still cry about missing band because you graduated four and a half months ago. You made a "Band Video" as your senior project in your video class and you still watch it and get teary eyed. You still practice marching even when you probably won't need to anymore, and people ask why you're walking like there is a stick up your butt. When you point out something about band life to a non-band geek and when they don't care about it as much, it pisses you off. You show off how tough you are to other people by telling them about your marching band practices. Example... Conversation Non-Band Geek: Well, I once took a foot to the face! Broke my nose! Band Geek: Oh yeah? Well, I had to march the left corners of the box in 95 degree weather while wearing an itchy uniform, while playing music on a sax that is straining on my back and neck, while being very thirsty, while roll stepping, while trying to keep the music memorized, while watching the Drum Major to make sure I was on the correct foot and while making sure we weren't stopping in the middle of a street FOR FIVE MILES. *deep breath* Non-Band Geek: ...damn. hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! that's so true though! when ppl outside of band complain, i tell them about marching band and they shut up instantaniously (< so spelt wrong) mrgreen

Stronghearted11 you know your a band geek when you know you band locker combo better than your regular locker combo mrgreen this one is kinda like that, but.. -you know your a band geek when you have a locker on your band locker and not your regular locker (i know, it sucks mrgreen )

~spend all your time in between classes in the band room practicing.
~skip your prom to perform with your band

you know your a band geek when you look forward to not prom or the homecoming dance but the bathroom parties after the football games where we mosh to our percussionists playing the cadences and cheers
