Sorry if any of these are repeats: You know you're a band nerd when you roll-step while carrying food in the cafeteria. You know you're a band nerd when you compare modern songs to something you played in band. You know you're a band nerd when you start marching in time to music playing, or just walking in time with your friends (even to the point of keeping left foot on beats 1 and 3, right on 2 and 4) You know you're a band nerd when you try to march in time with your non-band friends but can't because they aren't. You know you're a band nerd when you can relate a lot of things to something that happened at band camp. You know you're a band nerd when you name your instrument, my flute is Guenivere and my brother's trumpet is Oscar. You know you're a band nerd when you start thinking about next year's solo for contest before this year's is done.

You know your a band geek when... - one of your favourite pens is a pen from the company that sponsers your local band festival, and it's your favourite for just that reason. - when you compete at the festival, you keep the pen in your instrument case and/or music folder! - your in a class (other than band) with a whole bunch of other band geeks, and you all sit together and laugh at every single lame joke that the teacher says, whether or not it's funny. - your band teacher comments on "how much metal" your carrying home. (happened to me yesterday!!)

You know you're a band geek when: -You get calluses on your pinky from holding up your Baritone. -You get a tan on the lower part of your forehead, but not the upper part. -You hate block runs, not because its hard to run in time with other people, but because you know someone's going to try to trip everyone else up.

You know you're a band geek when you know whats in your band directors fridge. You know you're a band geek when you've done your drum staffs dishes. You know you're a band geek when you've slept on your band directors front porch because he wasn't there. Note: I didn't do any of this, but my friends(and brother) have...

I've done all of those...and the wosrt part is, I haven't marched for years because I've done pit. And all my band friends hate that I relate everything to band, because they don't understand any of it...

My friends did that once, they were walking down the hall way and one asked how this part in one song goes, and they got to it and on the next downbeat they all busted into last year's show.. omgz! we did that in the middle of disney world on a band trip, to our mb music lol! we all did different parts is was halarious! you know your a band geek (marching?) when you ENJOY going outside everyday to play your field show

you know you're a band nerd when: you walk down the hallway in school, and actually skip a step to get in step with random people next to you. O.o

SRGT_Sarcasm713 you know you're a band nerd when: you walk down the hallway in school, and actually skip a step to get in step with random people next to you. O.o lol, I do that. I also almost always roll-step. >_> weird, but it helps a lot on the field.

I've done the walk in time with other people thing. But I was just walking along by myself and I kept going with different people who were dragging their feet so I could hear.
You know you're a band nerd when you're at competition and some judge is criticizing you after your show for what you did wrong, but you're smiling because the band after you is now playing a song from the show you did last year. It just happened at our last competition. A few of us were even humming along.

Elxis You know your a band geek when: You can tell that the bell in your class room is out of tune and it bugs the Heck out of You >.< We totally do that in our band! It's an A flat, but horribly flat! It used to always come on in the middle of tuning last year... it kept messing the clarinets up!

You know you're a band geek when the clarinetist behind you clips their music to the coller of your band shirt and shares it with four other clarinetists. your band teacher says hi to you every day even though you don't have band that day. you stay up til 12 trying to get your test music for the next day perfect, even though you had to air band the last to hours cause your parents don't know you're up.
