Gannon…

"Damnit!" Gannon cursed as the Reyvateil crashed into him again. He had a feeling that as long as she was around, this was going to become a regular thing."Just be more careful. Okay?" Though it was dark, Gannon could picture everything in the room in his mind. While he waited for the others to enter the room, old memories rushed back. "Actually, we kinda stumbled across it by accident." Being lost in thought, he hadn't realized that he said we instead of I. "The generator's in the back in a small room. It connects directly to the tower. This used to be some kind of store house 'er somethin', but it looked like no one had been here in probably twenty years. I was surprised that everything still worked. You guys wait here. I'll go get the lights on." With that, the Teru took a few steps into the room, reaching out to keep a hand on one wall. He followed the wall to the far corner of the room and fumbled for the door controls.

With a hiss, the door opened, letting a dim, red light flood the area. It was a good sign. The emergency lights were working, meaning there was still power to the generator. Gannon moved into the smaller room and began flipping switches and hitting buttons, bringing the old machinery to life. The lights throughout the underground building flickered a few times before lighting up the room. "Looks like we're in business..." The Teru turned and left the small room, rejoining the others. "Alright. The girls can get some rest. There's a bed in the corner over there." He gestured to the opposite corner. "There's running water and boxes of MRE's through that door over on the far wall."

When Hikari pulled away from him Aaron hesitated to let her down at first but then decided to let her go. He looked around his surroundings, taking in everything. Of course he was aware that he was being watched but he wasn't alarmed. Why would he be? Hikari was probably just upset over the little disagreement they had awhile earlier. He let her be when she moved into the other room too, but when he heard her cry out he crossed over the room to the doorway to the storage area. The door flung open and there she was, muttering something about a mouse. "Mouse? Where?" He frowned. Some things never changed. Hikari was still a pretty bad liar.

Mana moved over to the bed and lay the young Reyvateil down on the bed. "Whew, that's that I guess." She shrugged and turned around. Hikari had gone into the other room, and Mana was distracted by her leaving so suddenly. Which was why she was taken completely off guard when Miko collapsed. "Sis!?" She rushed over and lifted her sister, propping Miko's body up against her own before half-carrying her over to the bed. She didn't feel warm or feverish, so Mana inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. "I think she just overexerted herself," Mana announced out loud. She put her sister down next to the Reyvateil so she would rest a little easier in a bed than on the cold, hard floor. "Whew."

Now that everybody was settling in, Gannon had some time to himself. He slowly walked around the room examining things that had been left behind. . The last time he was here, they had to leave in a rush. Here and there, he could see pieces of his former life scattered around the room. As he walked, he ran a hand along the cold, steel wall. It had been a decade since he'd last set foot in here, and everything was just as it was. Unfortunately that meant that some of her belongings were there as well.

The Teru continued with his walk, lost in thought until he came to a small table in the corner of the room. Scattered on the table were odds and ends he had thought that's he'd never see again. A few crystals, a woman's ring with a deep blue stone, and most importantly, a picture. His breath caught in his throat as his eyes fell on one of the faces in the picture. He tried to look away, but his gaze was drawn to the bright, blue eyes of the red headed woman. Seeing that smiling face felt like the sharpest talons were tearing into his chest, digging for something he had thought was long buried.
Get a hold of yourself! The Teru cursed himself. This was no time for that. Then again, there was a reason he hadn't set foot in here in all this time.

Gannon took a few deep breaths and in a few moments, he was once again in control of himself. He knew it wasn't going to last. He had to get out of here. He picked up the picture frame and then set it face down on the table before he turned and made his way through another door, locking it behind him, before turning to a large sink and turning on the faucet. At first, nothing happened, but after a few seconds, clean water rushed out. "Well, at least everything's still working..." Not to mention how clean it is. No dust or anything... Same as the first time we found it. Gannon cupped his hands and put them under the running water then splashed his face. "C'mon... Get ahold of yerself..."

The Teru pealed off his wet armor and tossed it in a bin in the corner of the wash room. With most of his gear back at either the Inn or the doctor's, he'd have to use what was left here. Shouldn't be too hard. Didn't even have a chance to use some of this. He pulled out some equipment from a cabinet and quickly sorted through it before changing. It was an older model, but the elemental defences were excellent. And, as with his other armor, was designed to hide the fact that he was Teru.



Gannon entered the room where the others were resting and glanced around. It seemed like most of the girls were out already, though the only two he was worried about were Hikari and the new girl. He knew Hikari would take off the first chance she got to try and save her friends. So he'd just have to take care of it first. "Mana, Aaron. I need to talk to the two of ya."

The blond haired human studied his surroundings in an attempt to be more familiar with them in case of a hasty retreat. He was lost in thought for a few minutes and wasn't paying attention to anything else going on around him. When Gannon spoke, he turned to face the Teru at the sound of his name. "Yeah? What's going on, Gannon?" He responded, keeping his voice as low as possible to not disturb the others.

Gannon began walking toward the exit, motioning for the two to follow. Once they were far enough away from the others, he spoke in a low tone. "Aaron, I need you to come with me. We have some companions who were caught back in town. I got a feeling that Hikari's going to try and go back for them once we ain't lookin'. Mana, I'm counting on ya to watch everything here. Keep Hikari inside, and also keep an eye on the new girl. She seems alright, for now, but be careful." The Teru left without a word, opening the entryway and headed out into the rain.

Hearing the mint colored Reyvateil speak, Ina lost her concentration of thought. She sigh before saying, "What is it?" Ina then look the other way as the Reyvateil was speaking to her familiar. Blitz look at Nel and encircle her a bit before she left. Bliz then looked at Ina and bump it's body and then bit her arm playfully. Ina look at her familiar and push her when she heard the girl come back with MRE's. "Thanks, I guess." She said quietly as she drank the ration.
Blitz was having a tough time opening it, and once she did it spilled all over Ina's face. Blitz quickly went to the other room to hide.
Ina was caught off guard when the ration spilled all over her face. She stood up and left outside to be in the rain. She bump into the Reyvateil while going outside. Once outside she looked up and the dripping droplets soothe her her face was being clean by the rain. Ina walk father from the rock, looked back and it was barely visible. At least I am away from those clowns.
She pondered as she made the rain even more heavier.
