She looked up at him, looking at his face for a moment before swinging her gaze back to the ground. In the dirt she started to draw anything to make herself stop twitching. Should she ask? Better question was, why was she caring so much? Sighing, she closed her eye and asked, “Do you think I am a bad captain?”
~ She worries to much xD~

He raised an eye brow, where'd she get that from? "No" He said with a caring smile. She was worrying a lot. Or at least, she had when they started going on this little adventure. Perhaps it was time to just relax and take a break from walking. "Are you hungry, Captain?" He asked with a smirk. He knew he was.

She was worried about his answer, but when he said no she let out a sigh of relief. Her shoulders sagged and she looked to the ground. Hearing his question about being hungry, her stomach gave a rumble. Looking up to meet his eyes to see if he had noticed, and seeing as he was smirking, she looked down. Darn him, he hears everything!
Nodding her head, she glanced back up at him to see what he was going to do about it.

" Do you like meat, or berries?" He asked her. Not sure where he was going to find meat here. They probably scared off all the creatures that were in ear shot. Though, he was sure there was berries around here. Or at least there had to be.

“I like both, I guess.” Now she felt kind of depressed for really no reason. He was much better than her, and older. He should’ve been the captain, not her. Now he was going to attempt to get food while she just stood there! “I can help you get something!” She yelled, probably a little to loudly, but it got her point across.

"Oh? Ok if you want." He said with a smile. Good, at least they could get berries without a worry. "I think there's some berries around here, somewhere." He said as he started to look at plants around. It shouldn't take them too long to find them. "Try finding a plant with redish berries, or something close to that. Don't eat them unless I say you can though. Don't want you to get sick." He said with a smile.

She nodded her agreement. He was looking at the surrounding bushes, searching for the berries hidden within there leaves. Moving her gaze behind her to the other side of the small clearing they had ended up in, she saw more bushes waiting to be searched. Seeing him still searching, she started making her way over to said bushes, she peered into them, trying to see any thing that could look like a berry. What she did not notice, however, was something moving down the tree next to her.

Hakim didn't see anything moving either. His full attention was on different plants, more so, looking for the right type of leaves. Though, some plants that had berries didn't always have the leaves he was use to finding. He soon started looking into the pushes as he used his paws, only seeing bulbs of flowers. "maybe I was mistaken about this area?" He said with a chuckle.

She looked back at him and smiled, “Maybe.” She agreed, having no luck in finding any berries. Turning back around, she moved to another bush next to a large tree. Hearing something, she turned to the right. Something was staring right back at her. Her eyes went cross eyed and she belted out a scream. In her hurry to go backwards and get away, she fell onto her back and suddenly she was staring up at the leaves of the tree, trying to calm down and get her breathing under control.

Hakim quickly turned around in case something truly bad happened. He looked down at her with a concerned face. "Are you ok? What happened?" He asked as he looked to where she had been looking but saw nothing. Perhaps she saw a animal or something.

Ambrosia stared up at him, eyes wide and still breathing hard. Taking in a gulp of air she started off a sentence. “There was a thing in a tree, and it was there!” She pointed to the tree, where she had seen the little animal, only now there wasn’t anything there. She got up as quick as lightning and looked all around the clearing. “Where did it go? Did you see it?” She asked.

He shook his head at her. "But I believe you. There's all types of creatures out here that like to sneak up on others and scare them and then run." He said with a smile. "It might have been a bunny, or even a snake." He said with a nod. Though, he didn't think it was a bunny. He hadn't seen any around this area.

“Hmm.” She tilted her head to the side and starred at the tree. Moving her gaze up, she searched the leaves and branches. Not seeing anything, she looked to Hakim and sighed. “I guess so.” Tilting her head to the side, she looked up to his face. “What’s a snake?”

"A snake is a creature that has no legs and arms but can move just as well as anyone with them." He said with a smile. "They have long slender body's but are full of muscles." Or that's what he figured. "They can be mean, but hardly attack unless provoked. Or that's what I've noticed."

Her eyes were wide with wonder. “So, it’s like…a worm? Can we find one!?” Now she wanted to see one. And touch one. I wonder what they feel like, or smell like, she thought. Of course, she had totally forgotten about the dangers that could possibly come with finding a snake.
