The match in Barton Branch, Omi Barsait versus Number 66, has timed out by 3 days. And as per agreed on his last.. last, last last last, last2 chance, three days = disqualification permanetely.

Mod attention:
We can begin putting up the brackets I have posted at the bottom of the last page. Please make threads from the top of the list going down (skipping the few that require a completion still), so that we don't get things all jumbled.

I NEED ASSISTANCE IN:
Genshin Fusaki vs. Kawaii Kool branch. I may delete my post, but I have a question that I made a post in the thread towards Kawaii's post. He said something, and I just want a moderator to check on that. I found that to be kind of weird.
Done No DQ, as stated in the post.

As I understand it: Originally the outer wall of the 'fighting area' was considered out-of-bounds. This was appealed a few months ago when someone asked about rampaging through the stands, and apparently the new rule makes the stands in-bounds. I believe Jans dug it up for us just the other day. There was then a discussion about whether or not this 'new rule' should apply to 'old fights' (meaning fights that have been going on since before the alteration). As such... I'd like to call a vote. *Mooo signal.* ...well, Mooo, Clash, Tac, Nightz, whoever's available to put their two cents in. Mooo I agree with it. A while ago, I think it was Clash who okayed the idea of the stands being in-bounds, so as long as you stay in the actual arena you're fighting in (barring the up-down limitations) the fight can go on. Besides, the idea of rampaging through the stands is kinda fun.

Thread unlock request: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=5541999That fight was indeed in debate, mostly some inane crap over the properties of lightning (which I've decided was stupid so I'm going to post anyway). I didn't notify because I figured Tac, as a tournament mod, would take care of keeping it open. emo Honey, if he doesn't say a thing to me how am I to know?
Opened.

Win by Time-Out and unannounced forefit. Genis Sage's author retired/quick the internet a while back. He hasn't been heard from so I'd say he quit the tourney, though he's DQ'd by Time-Out anyhow. http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=6386203--This match has nothing to do with me, other than I used to be friends with Genis. *shrug* Just thought I'd inform you so if he has any other character, the staff knows why he isn't present. How can he time out if the match hasn't started yet?
This will be handled when all others are handled, no sooner unless I hear from him. It's not like it'll make the round end any sooner.

Question about my fight:
So... the Stands are part of the arena. But how high do they go?
Just wondering, because of one of the rules since the stands are in play. themightyjello The floor is at 0. The wall dividing the arena and stands is 100 feet high, so we can assume that the stands start at 100 feet and slope upwards. The ring out line is at 300 feet, which gives us 200 feet of 'leeway' before seats are grinding into a makeshift ceiling. As is the custom with stadiums these days, there is an overhang above the seats to keep bad weather off, so we can assume that there is one here (at the 300 foot line?). Since you don't really want to allow people anywhere near your ceilings in an actual stadium/coliseum environment, we'll go with the stands stopping at 200 feet, with an extra 100 feet of distance between them and our roof.

Match in O/M, page 5. Quote: And you know what--- removing yourself from the IMPALEMENT on your own goddamned vampire sword and pushing off me to gain more lift--- yea, it should be impossible, even for the amazing Viper. And surviving the explosion in your body, simply because your "made of the same special chocalate on the outside" is just as ******** stupid as your "amazing skill of swordsmanship and dodging" that you used in a previous post. Requesting logic and some apple pie!

Quote: removing yourself from the IMPALEMENT on your own goddamned vampire sword and pushing off me to gain more lift The vampire sword part not included, we see the above as being directly caused by this: Jans Viper Whip-crack fast he lets go of Vahn and ducks his knees up to his chest, between himself and Vahn. He leans back precariously, and [...] he uses the other man as a springboard and lauches off Vahn's chest horizontally and slightly upwards. Should things go like this, we've got Viper twisting the blade at a very destructive angle; I mean to the point where he'd now have an 8" tall hole in his torso (the previous explosion notwisthanding as it isn't part of this specific topic). Following the twisting, there's then a hard, fast shove in a generally up-and-away direction. Now, unless this were straight out, the blade's just going to cut more when it comes out because more torso is being 'fed' onto the blade like when you push a piece of wood through a tablesaw. As it stands, a backwards leaning up-and-away jump off of someone's chest while there's an impalation like that with an 'epic level' sword that we can assume is just very, very sharp... He may have just cut off his own balls. However, he would have gotten away. Just in a very, very painful way... this is assuming he can actually feel pain. As far as jumping off and gaining height; not going to happen. He'd very slightly slow his fall, but rather than gaining height it'd be more because he's pushing you down. I point to the 'falling elevator' scenario. If an elevator falls down the shaft and you jump at the last moment before it hits, you're still falling at an incredible rate... just a slightly slower rate than the rest of the elevator. Since both of you are roughly the same mass, and neither of you are held in place by anything, a push between you would affect you both equally, but in opposite directions. After the separation... if he can air walk, he's allowed to, and no arguing gravity will change that one. So, if all things go as planned (plus a few severe gougings like a rhino just got through having face-sex with his chest), he'd go up and you'd go down slightly faster than before; and distance would be put between the two of you... as long as you intend to stare hatefully with that blank expression like you're apparently doing. Otherwise, do something 'bout it. *Walks to the windowsill with an oven mitt.* Now who wants apple pie?

themightyjello KeNsHiNo5o http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=4307007 Requesting above thread to be re-opened. My character is Ken Clone, Arian's character is the Arian in the text. Arian and I were having a dispute and were going to let Clash handle it. Should I make a thread about the dispute and PM Arian about it (Or you can?) Clash disappeared, and then Arian did, and then I waited, thread was locked. Arian appears to be back now, though. Opened. Though I spoke with Arian for a while on the topic and was under the impression that things were going to be left as they were.
Whatever happens, let's make it not take too long, so that hopefully Commerce can actually turn over. Well, you could've PMed me. Anyways, Arian wins I guess. We had a giant problem there, throughout the entire match, but I'll let him take it. b*****d never said he had any guns on him, which my character would've seen through Arian's T-shirt. Bye GTB.
