Red of course had little time to react. The girl moved faster than the kitsune could blink. She felt something on her tial and quickly dropped to all fours, gripping what she could of the ground to resist the pull on her extra apendage. The problem was she could tell Sabrina was more than strong enough to pick her up if she let her.

In response she extended her feet and then drew them in again in an attempt to sweep the girl's legs from under her at the ankle. If she fell, her grip might loosen enough for her tail to wriggle free, which she certainly intended to do.

"Waa!" Sabrina shouted out as he legs went out from under her. Automacticly, she let go of Red's tail as she went down. She felt dumb for letting her guard down like that. She had been so focused on getting that tail of Red's that she hadn't prepared for a counterstrike.

Dad would be training her on that after this battle.

She quickly tried to upright herself but worried Red was going to get the upperhand if she didn't do so quickly.

Red quickly threw herself back up to her feet and twirled around to face the young girl. Her tail took shelter about her waist, feeling too uncomfortable to let it rest behind her. It was a bit sore, but she moved on, taking quick steps toward Sabrina. If the girl was still off kilter, she'd easily succumb to being swept again as Red's left leg spun clockwise above the ground to her feet. This time though, Red was going to rise with a reverse spin kick, using her right foot much like a sledgehammer to what she calculated would be the girl's waist if she she fell straight down.

Sifting from the shadows of a nearby tree a familiar silhouette shifted into existence. Crossing his arms in silence he watched the bout between student and the Saiya-jin girl. Curling his snow white tail about his waist his gaze moved toward the older Saiya-jin percieving him to be the young girls trainer. According to his sources the child was none other than the Saiya-jin's daughter. Speaking to no one in particular his voice rang out strong and true to all those present, despite the fact that his lips did not move.

"I am pleased to see the spirit of hand to hand rings true. Relying too much energy projection as a whole leaves a warrior maimed in a proper combat situation."

Clapsing his hands together he smiled broadly his hat tipped lightly over his eyes, their phosporescent yellow glow present within the light shadow.

It was a cool night out. As cool as it could be on a tropical island. The moon was rather luminous, though it was by no means full. In fact it was still waning. It would be over two weeks before the full disc of lifeless stone was completely visible. The silence of the island was delicious. Then again, the island wasn't all that quiet. The sound of nature was abound, mostly birds and insects of various sorts. However this was the kind of sound that was never iritating. At least not to her.

She was searching for her tutor rather slowly, mostly because it wasn't important. She had heard what he had said during her fight, but hadn't responded. The girl demanded her full attention. If not, she gave it all anyway. It didn't seem he was around, or perhaps he just didn't want to be found at the moment. If not, it didn't matter much to her. She should probably head home anyway. She couldn't remember the last time she had a good night's rest. She actuallly never though about it, but now that she was, she realized she could really go for one.

Then there was that other guy.Kuja was his name wasn't it? She hadn't gotten back to him, and she didn't feel him around either. He'd likely be back. Something told her he had something to prove and she was the prime audience. She didn't know how she felt about that. She didn't mind if he was pledging to ally with her, but if he were only trying to show off, it would be hard to be impressed. She usually spoke ill of such attempts anyway.

As she ducked under branches and walked over roots she realized sometihng. Her tail was still rather sore. That was one hell of a grip.

The wind swept over the primarily empty forest clearing. Standing at its edge the Kitsune Sage, flicked the hilt of his blade rhytmically with is thumb as if waiting for something or someone. Taking a deep breath he proceed rattle off a gutteral chant that seemed ride on the air currents themself.

In the next moment he quick drew his blade to fend off an approaching from the shadows, draping the ebony edged blade behind his back. Spinning fluidly off the clash of blades he crossed into strike at where his enemies neck should have been. Cutting nothing but air he remained at the end of his cut, sword still raised in anticipation. As if rewarding his patience a slash struck down just as he sprung back to evade the attack.

Breaking off into dash across the open clearing the Snow fox caught view of his attacker flanking him from behind. Abruptly whipping to a stop he engaged in a wide arching strike at his enemies mid section, only to be caught across the chin with a well placed kick to the jaw.

Staggering from the attack, he raised his blade to parry an incoming torso cleaving sword strike. Stepping into his clash he headbutted his opponent, deftly sweeping his blade around his opponents to thrust its point through their chest. Staring before him a cloaked grin smiled back. Nodding he wrenched the sword free releasing his victim from its hold. Slumping foward the cloaked figures cowl fell from about their revealing that of a familiar snow fox. Crouching over what appeared to his own likeness, he waved his hands before his face rattling off another chant. In the next moment the body before him darkened into blackness and then wafted off into the wind in a flurry of black dust.

((I soo sorry it took me awhile to get sterted here))

Walking up to the shore from the boat, He had a small letter in his hand. The Island...Bukotsu had been looking at the island. Although he was late arrival, he had heard the terms and agreements. Seen as a place to become stronger and make others strong alike would benefit him in his search. Spending time on a paradise would open his mind, not to mention boost his morale.

Walking past the dark shores, he reached the foot of teh jungle. For now, it was a little late. He would rest. Taking off the sash that held Rakan and Bishimonten, he set the two swords by his side and sat against the tree.

The feeling of life all around her. The sounds of the gentle waves crashing on the shore, the tropical birds calling out to one another in warning or hostility, the silent serpents that awaited their victims, the winds blowing through the trees. The smells, almost too much for her sometimes. The sea water, last night's rain still fresh on the ground, the moist soil crawling with insects and tiny beasts. Sometimes she could swear she smelled sunlight, but such was an intangible thought.

Most important was this feeling of life. She had found a nice quiet place in her many long enduring walks to and from any one side of the island. In this place she could felt almost as if she were excluded from the outside, completely alone. She knew such wasn't true, but for now this could be her place. From this place she fell into deep thoughts. He current thoughts were of the slowly growing number of faces on her island.

It began with User, whom she had no doubts would join. Then there was the officer, and alchemist if memory served. Her jedi companion from the Orion visited from time to time, as did her tutor, whom she had been looking for for some time now. It wasn't dire that she see him though so she decided to let it wait until next he showed himself. Then there was that other man, some sort of fire, ice mage or other. He hadn't been back either. There was a new aura though, a masculine one like all the others too far to smell or hear, but on the island nonetheless. That made six so far, seven if she included the young daughter of User. She hadn't realized that these six were all men. It didn't matter too much to her, but her body knew. It responded in a way her mind would not understand. She seemed to be partially losing touch with herself.

So she sat for a while on the large branch, arms tucked under folded legs that she buried her head in. She couldn't feel the tears or hear her coarse breathing, although theey were subtle anyway. A bitter undying sorrow that her mind didn't acknowledge. To her, this was sleep. Curled up as tightly and as insecure as possible until a few hours passed or something drew too near.

Although the tropical weather was something that would bother a dragon like Bukotsu was from the high Ganges Mountains. Although his human body could handle the humid weather, his dragon energy was being weakened. Seeing that his dragon-cloth armor was now feeling like wearing several hundred kiltons and losing it;s powers of protection like armor, he removed the shirt and threw it upon the ground as it slammed into the sand like a large automobile hitting the earth. Althoug h the oly things on his body were now his white gi pants and the Dragon's eye Medallion hung around his neck.

Removing his bracers and ankle weights as well they dropped into the ground and slammed into the sand surface by his 2 swords. His dragon powers were weakened, but he didn't know why...unbeknowest to him however, anyone else could tell that he just caught a simple fever. Falling into the sand however, he passed out. Falling on his back in the sand he remained there in a deepened sleep.

She had slept much longer than she had expected. She was still groggy, but the tears had long ago dried under the tropical heat that made her body glistened, awakening in the likeness of a goddess emerging from a blossom. The golden hue of sunset made her a radiant sight to be seen, but this moment of beauty lasted hardly a few minutes as she came to her senses and began her trek through the forest. That was at least an hour ago.

She found herself drawing near the unintroduced aura that she had felt earlier. As she met the shore she stopped to see the male to her left, a few articles of clothing and personal belongings literring the area around him. Perhaps he had been training while she rested. He was the one resting now it seemed. Yet she sensed no comfort in this sleep. His body was only half resting, regaining strength, but not rejuvinating. He was still fighting off something, this much was for certain.

Her feet stopped tenderly near the right side of his face as she slowly knelt down beside him and placed her palm on his forehead. He was warm, too warm even for this place. The heat of his body seemed to indicate he was being baked alive rather than slightly uncomfortable. It was likely a fever of one sort or another, though she wondered why he was out here if he had been ill sturck.

She couldn't let such thoughts get to her now. It was essential that she give him what care she could offer while on this place. Without hesitation she removed her tank top, never being one to go without a bra, and folded it to apporximately the dimensions of his forehead. As she held it there, it seeed to moisten rapidly and then cool just slightly above freezing temperatures. She still wasn't as adept as Kendo, but being near the ocean made the task seem effortless to say the least.

While she fitted her shirt on his head, the sea water that was lapping at the shore liquid flatbed beneath him and levitated off ground surface. A second gathered his things before taking form and coming to his side. Her task done, she began back into the woods to find a place that would provide at least enough shade from the evening rains and the morning suns of tomorrow, assuming he was still ill tomorrow.

Moving silently through the forest canopy the soft patter of rain was the only thing that could be heard. Cloaked within the shadows he watched as Red tended to the feverish young man. Smiling he departed from the area making little notice of his presence save for a few leaves filtering down from his perch. It pleased him to see that the girl was not so rough around the edges that she would not help another in need. Travelling a short distance he settled amongst the lower limbs of the trees and shed his cloak of shadows.

Quiet night...such is pleasing

Making note of Red rushing past him on her way to shelter he rose to follow and then collapsed back onto his perch figuring that such behavior would be intrusive.

All deserve some level of privacy I suppose.

She heard him before anything else. He seemed to be concealing himself, so identifying him by aura alone was difficult. Thanks to the rain, she couldn't smell him. She was still topless, but that didn't bother her too much. She traced her steps backwards, looking around, and then up. What else should she see, but the man she had been looking for the past couple of days.

"I heard what you said," she began in a rather dry tone. "...during my fight I mean. I think you either are a bit jaded against other fighters here or misunderstand me. I fight melee style naturally, or at least I try to. The fact that I can improve on my water manipulation is proof enough of that. I only use it when I have no other way out."

That was why she didn't enjoy the prospect of forging a weapon as much as she might be able to. It wasn't something she did. Her body was her weapon, her will of the waters was as extensive as she ever got, and now she was trying to expand on these principles as well as learn to improve on what she already knew.

She began to head further into the woods yet again, her statement made. She was probably gonna go back home today since she needed a new top. "I've been practicing, but perhaps I should learn something else next time we meet so that I have more to occupy my time with. My days are steadily becoming more free."

Dropping from the trees to the forest floor below he proceed to offer her his trenchcoat.

"Oh don't get me wrong...I was not being saracastic. I mean't every word that I said. Hand to hand is something I approve of to the highest degree. You forget that Epithany learned her martial arts from me so I too put much value into its use."

Walking behind her nonchalantly he smiled

"There is no fault in wishing to train both body and mind. One who neglects one for the other is a fool. Perhaps we should spar at some point. I am sure I may prove to be just as much a challenge as I would magically."

Clasping his hand behind his back his gaze returned towards from where she was.

"Your island becomes readily populated."

"Yes I hope activity will soon blossom even more. I've yet to have many formal matches with anyone. I dare say training alone is becoming quite mundane." She kindly declined the trenchcoat with a flicking of her wrists as if to say 'take it away.' The weather wasn't at all disagreeable with her.

"I wouldn't mind a spar against you myself. I find it easier to respect someone you've fought. They leave a rather powerful impression in my mind about their character." She seemed to think of something for a moment before mischievously continuing. "Beside, Epithany would likely have beaten me if we continued with no restrictions. I'd like to see how the fists that taught her fare."

In truth, the one thing she regretted about leaving Orion was no longer having Epithany's companionship. She felt a strong pull to learn what she could from the woman, even stronger than her will to learn from Kendo himself, but circumstance required otherwise. Out of all the people within the Orion, besides that beautiful blonde woman she had a slight falling out with, Epithany was the only person she through and through 'liked.'

"To any event, I should be off. I left the boy under cover of some thick vegetation. If you don't mind, check in on him from time to time until I come back? You're not obligated to though as I'm sure he'll be okay." She was sure he heard the approaching chopper, steadily drowning out all other sound in the area. She honestly hated the sound of them, but she liked keeping some of her other 'toys' under wraps. She took the rope ladder that fell to her side and waved her hand to signal the pilot to take off. She didn't bother keeping her eyes on him in one of those cliche farewell ways that one often saw on TV or movies. Such a thing would only irritate her unless he had something to say, which she probably wouldn't hear too clearly anyway.
