"I don't like it here..." Dariyn murmured, all but hiding against the other, "And they keep talking about monsters..." He was calmer now that Morrow was here and he had someone to cling to. "...and we've SEEN some..." That unnerved him more than anything...and the sinking feeling that they were likely to see more.

((Well, you still feel free to jump in now and then if you want. For all of you that have just come in, or have had to leave, I will assume that you have been here since the start of the fieldtrip until the end of it, and you'll still get yer plushies))

Task the Third
Free-for-All Dice Roll!!

The Object:
You can fit 16 posts on one Gaian page. So, here's the scoop, when this thread hits page 10, you can begin to post dice rolls. Each corresponding number equals a prize that will be awarded to each dice roll made on the page of 10. 16 prizes will be given out, so roll as many times as you can!
The Rules:
You may only roll 1 100-sided-die per post, although you may roll a die everytime to post on that page. You can chat or use emotes, or whatever you fancy...but only the posts on the page 10 will be counted.
The Prize:
Each number on the 100 sided die equates to a different prize. This means that there may be more than one of the same prize given out if people roll the same number more than once. There will be castor shells up for grabs, Cicus hallowe'en Themed pets, and even a single Free Stage Zero Empyrean slot as possible prizes.

"Thanks!"

He nodded and tried to commit it to memory, hoping he wouldn't forget it.

"Hey Grave, did you bring a notebook or anything?"

Aysel grinned back, personally thinking that the fortune-telling shop was spookier...but yes, she nodded, this was spooky. "If Professor Lelaus wasn't telling us such a story, I doubt so many would be scared..." she shivered slightly, both from the increasing cold and from the tension of her classmates that was almost tangable in the air. "But it's fun, anyway...right?"

"A little," Elanin admitted sheepishly, rubbing her arms again, trying to get the material of her jacket to rub on her skin, and not doing well at it. "Ugh, this jacket is doing less and less now." She shivered and sighed. "Oh well," she let out a small laugh, listening partially to professor Lelaus' story and and to Nadyrr.

Ubel glanced at Torrid, blinking once, before smiling softly. "I can remember it for you," he said softly, though he wouldn't mind if Torrid preferred writing it down.

Monsters? He laughed softly to himself. "Monsters, Dairyn? Are you sure that you haven't been imagining things?" He smiled and paused for a moment to kiss the other soundly. He smiled and then kissed his ear. He whispered. "If they're are some here... I will protect you. I would rather I suffer.. get hurt.. before you did.." He smiled and growled protectively. Dariyn truly did stir emotions in Morrow that hadn't surfaced for years. He smiled gently and kissed the other's nose. He peered at the group that had gotten slightly ahead of them. He slipped off his coat and wrapped it around Dariyn. "Now... fill me in on what I've missed? I was working again. Though I did eat those dinners you gave me."

Antigone nodded, and shifted closer to Aysel. You'd think, what with her being a Sanguine and pretty closely associated to fire, she would be able to stand the cold better... "A bit too chilly for my taste, but I can't resist a good adventure and a spooky story. I'm having fun. Are you?"

Chandra had been very busy scribbling down notes on the story of Padmir. Mainly, because she herself wanted a pet very badly. Selene was mildly less interested in the story, but more interested in the details. She constantly pointed out things for her sister to write down. Of course, there was an air of understanding between the two that this was all an example of what not to do, and the correct way to go about things would have to be looked up elsewhere.

He sighed, "Yes, monsters...the teachers even said so..." And he was fairly sure that they'd told the students those things for their protection, and not to scare them out of their wits, though both tasks had been accomplised. Snuggling into his coat, he increased his pace, as they were supposed to keep up. "Well...they keep telling a story, and I don't think I like where it's going...and these...glowy balls...are some sort of monster, and they're apparently dangerous enough to kill one of us, though I didn't catch all of that..." Dariyn didn't like to admit that his fear broke his concentration.

Nadyrr shrugged a little looking around and almost sheepishly responded to her, "If you get too chilled tell me, my sweater is very big I could probably wrap it around your shoulders to add a layer. I'm not bothered much by the cold." All the other students seemed to be worried about monsters and such things, he listened a little to bits of conversation wondering why they all seemed so afraid. Perhaps it was because he had never seen anything violent from a monster or perhaps it was because he had so much natural curiousity but it didn't seem like much of an issue to him. Besides their professors were here.

Morrow eyed the ball and growled. He padded up with the others, holding up the rear and looking around them. "Wow.. they take us somewhere where there is a chance of death? Lovely." He grumbled slightly as he held onto Dariyn as tightly as he could. "Professor? Why are we here... if it's so dangerous?" He glared at both of them, not liking they put his Dariyn in danger, forgetting himself entirely.
