Xyla - Guardian Cat HP: 38 Blight Monsters: All dead Damage to Blight Monsters: 4 + 5 = 9 [killing the two remaining ones that followed Hatsya, their team's blight are now dead]
Great minds think alike, however, this time nearly ended in tragedy as Xyla lept to defend the previously fallen General and the two corrupts the same time Hatsya had decided to take aim at it with Prehnite's dagger. It wasn't a simple slash or stab but rather thrown with enough force to wiz by with a wooshing sound just above her black-tipped ear.
Ears pinned against her head, Xyla dared a glance backward to glare at the corrupt but didn't have time nor energy to scold her since it was in part her fault. Instead, she clawed at the inky ooze until it moved no longer before leaping at the one that had followed the Senshi of Swordplay to them.
"There is no shame in retreat," feeling fatigued set into her bones, she commented breathlessly. "If they multiply again then we might not get another chance," Xyla added in a warning.
Encke groaned at the appearance of more of them. Where one went down, another one appeared, and for the moment it seemed endless. Ida was shouting for them to come closer to her--that was probably the center of the action and where these oilslick demons were coming from--but he couldn't just abandon his husband and one of his guardian's charges to go deal with it.
"We gotta get these things away from us." He accompanied this with an extra swing at the one that hadn't quite fallen to its death. "They'll probably keep reproducing until we get rid of the broodmother, as it were."
"Was that a game reference?" Viatrix shouted at Encke over one angrily dripping at her. She took that moment to kick it in what probably was supposed to be its face if the humanoid form was to be trusted. She didn't necessarily, but. "Don't answer that."
She met the shambling remains of Basiluzzo's with another kick.
Imhotep, Page of Mercury HP: 50 Damage to Blight Monsters: 10 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 0/5 -- Promethei!B4 & B5 now at 0/5
First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)
"Just hit them." Imhotep kicked viciously at one of the figures reaching for Promethei, holding up his little balsawood figurine to his husband as he did so. "This is next to useless." He was going to start bringing blunt weapons with him whenever they went anywhere. Maybe one of those heavy duty flashlights--
First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)
Tikal squinted to try and see what she could through the darkness, what with the occasional flashes of light and glowing spots from other people's abilities and weapons. She couldn't see much, even still, but what she did see told her what she needed to do next.
She had to help out with the mess at the center of activity.
Before more of the slime creatures could gloop and schlorp their drippy way over to her, Tikal hurried for where Ida was fighting alongside others. Of course, the ground was slippery with it all, and Tikal's attack did not land as strongly as she would have liked.
But at least it landed.

Cadet Yddagen HP: 50 Damage to Blight Monsters: 9 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 0/5. plus 1 of Neryn's now at 0/5
(Concentrated) First Stage: 10 + 1d6 damage; 3/4 remaining First Stage characters and Cats in Human Form should roll 5+1d10 for physical damage. (min 6 damage, max 15)
It was gratifying to see the first monster he'd fired at go down, finally, after following him all the way over to Neryn. Speaking of, Yddagen turned and fired on one of the creatures plaguing Neryn. It also went down, and Yddagen tried to see if he had a good vantage point to help with the other two--
"Hey, at least you have something. I have this," he held out his test tube in turn, which was the most useless non-weapon he had ever seen. What was he supposed to, gather the goop and run some tests on it? Maybe figure out its chemical composition?
Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos HP: 100/100 Damage to Blight Monsters: 10 + 10 + 1 (Article of Strength) = 21 (Hyperborea takes out her and Delphi's remaining monsters)
Hyperborea huffed as she looked over to Delphi, She also had two remaining attackers. This was a problem, they had to defeat these break away monsters to get through to the real target.
She decided to to use her magic once more. This time running over to her partner Knight, "'Delphi close your eyes!" She said as she brought up her glowing staff up unleashing her starlight once she was certain she would catch both hers and Delphi's attacker. She used her arm to block Delphi's eye's from the light further. Once she was sure the monsters had perished in the light Hyperborea stopped channeling her magic.
"You ok?" She asked her old friend. "We'll support each other." She agreed.
Knight Spell
She holds up her staff as the head glows silver. It creates a bright explosion of silver starlight with Hyperborea at the center. It blinds and disorientates everyone else caught in the blast with their eyes open. It causes a great burning pain in her enemies and can at player discretion leave a sunburn like wound on people. Channeling time: 60 secs. AOE: 10 ft
The young senshi was breathing a little hard at this point, the monsters seemed endless. She didn't know how many more creatures it could spawn but as she looked around it seemed like every monster cut down was replace by a new one, like the Lernaean Hydra really only each head was instead a separate monster.
Arthuradel summoned up her magic again as even more monsters appeared in front of her. She called out the name of her spell "Arthuradel Saber Strike" A sword made of energy apeared in her hand as she swung the ethereal blade down sending a slash of energy at the monsters. The slash tore through two of the creature. She grit her teeth frustrated that she had not gotten all of the monsters. She wished her sister or Hania or anyone from her team was here with her now to help her fight. But she shook away those thoughts she needed to be able to stand on her own in moments like this. She refocus her efforts she needed to defeat the monster intron of her and she needed to then help stop the source of this evil.
Arthuradel Saber Strike
Arthuradel holds her hand up as if she was holding a sword, her honor manifests in the form of a sword made light and force that when she swings it down it fires a single slash of compressed energy straight at her opponent. (If she uses this attack with out facing her opponent head on [honorably] then its power is severely weakened and if her opponent is dishonorable then the attack is stronger, both at the player's discretion) (As a chibi the attack just pushes her opponents back) Range: up to 5 ft (chibi) Uses:3
Quetzálcoatl arrived on the scene just in time to get jumped by a bunch of the monsters She managed to summon her magic and destroy the three monsters attacking her but she was hurt bad. She spotted a member of her court and stumbled towards him hoping he could help.
Cadet Neryn HP: 50/50 Damage to Blight Monsters: 5 + 2 = 7 (Neryn takes out one of two remaining monsties, thanks Yddagen!)
Neryn glanced over briefly to smile warmly at Yddagen as he approached. Another one of those that followed Commander Lyndin, but Neryn didn't hold it against them. They didn't hold the choice against any of the Velencyans, to be honest. They'd only done what they thought was right after all. Besides, they had to stick together here on Earth.
One of slime monsters exploded as Yddagen shot it, Neryn giving a nod. They took aim at another one, the creature screeching as the boltcaster bolt impaled it. That still left one for Neryn to deal with, though it seemed disoriented for the moment.
"I am alright, all things considered! I think we need to take out the big one in the center, or it'll keep spawning---" they said, only to be cut off by a sudden booming voice. "Oh lovely, it can speak! The center mass I think, we need to hit that!" Neryn pointed with the boltcaster to the giant mass hiding in the back. Little good it would do them if they couldn't get there though. If they could get a clean shot...
Too bad it seemed the mass seemed content to spit out more of the little slimes.
Yomi-no-kuni, Squire of Saturn HP: 75/75 Damage to Blight Monsters: 8 + 8 = 16 (Yomi takes out all three of his attackers) Damage to the Source: 8 + 4 = 12
Yomi eyed up the monsters as they rose up around him again he supposed it wouldn't be as simple as just striking down the monsters that were attacking him. No there was a trick to these monsters, he suspected the trick lay with the main monster that people who seemed to know more about the creature had taken to attacking.
He laid into the monsters around he slashing and smashing them with his wooden blade. He wished he had a real sword but he would have make do with what he had as he needed to conserve his magic if this thing could keep regenerating minions. Once he had crushed the little monsters around him he turned to the Source.
He rushed at the the source slamming his sword into its mass. He kept on swinging into the creature hoping he was doing some damage to the blight monster.
The ping went off on her phone, and Skoll wasted no time in getting to the location. Between the S.O.S from Ida and the text from Asmo, there was no way Skoll was missing this. The Senshi of the Pack scrambled her way through the writhing mass of smile - gross, actually gross gotta say - wincing as the damned things clung to her and left large red marks as she ripped them off her body.
Good grief there was a lot of people here. Senshi, knights, the Negaverse, even the Velencyans were around. She thought she saw more alien looking senshi too. Everyone was fighting a slime ( or three ), and it took her longer than she'd liked to get to Hati and Asmodeus.
"Skoll's Pack Offensive!" she said by way of greeting, howling and boosting all three of their attacks.
Koeia called on her magic again as the monsters attacked the wounds that they would have inflicted being bounced off of her and back onto the monsters. She turned toward Selinur nodding in agreement at his assessment.
"I agree." She said to her follow ancient, the core of the creatures was the real target, as it was now they were merely dealing with the symptoms not the underlying aliment. Still though the symptoms couldn't be ignored they had to get through the monsters to get to core. She would give anything at a time like this to have the power she had wielded in her youth back, she would be able to defeat these creatures much easier were that the case. But she knew such wished were ultimately pointless and she was better off focusing on reality.
"We need to punch our way through these shades."
Koeia Spirited Shield
Koeia calls out her attack name as she claps her hands together. She is blessed with a protective miracle as a star appears behind her head. All damage done to her is reflected back onto whoever hurt her, so she can't hurt herself to do damage to someone else but anything they do to her is directly done to them instead. She can only perfectly reflect all first stage attacks, she splits the damage of a second stage attack (she takes half, they take half), take 75% of a third stage attack while they take 25%,and she cannot block a fourth stage attack at all. This damage vanishes when the attack ends unless the other player wants it to persist. Duration: 25 seconds Radius of effect: 5 feet Uses: 3
