Character: Raspbina Luckwyn Choice: A RP Response: She climbed out of the river and shook herself to get rid of at least some of the water. It seemed that the best course of action now would be to at least try and be stealthy. Even though it would make her muddy, she got low to the ground and crawled through the ferns.

Character Name: Cyan Choice: C RP Response:
Cyan had enough of being chased. Sure, the centaurs were mere specks in the distance, and sure they could easily gain speed and out run her.
FUUUUCK IT.
Cyan decided to just hoof it.

smolderingskies Character: Tabi Choice: C RP Response: She pulled herself out from the rapids on the other side, shocked that she hadn't died to the rocks alone. Tabi was waterlogged and nearly in tears from exhaustion, but there was no choice but to keep moving. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of regret that this forest was so beautiful, but she couldn't take a moment to stare. And damned if she'd take a moment to bask in the glow of this forest. She saw centaurs like visions in the corners of her eyes. But there were places to be yet, and Tabi sure as hell wasn't going to stop.

Character: Troy Choice: A RP Response:
The water was his element and while he hated to leave it, Troy knew that he had to at some point. He swam for a ways before it got too shallow and climbed his way out, looking around to see others had also managed to find their way around it. However, most of them were running and leaving themselves exposed in the open. He wanted to say something to them but the centaurs were already starting to catch up. He cursed and looked around at his surroundings; the ferns and brush were like a tall, dense carpet. He got down and crawled into them, moving slowly and staying low so he disturbed as little as possible and remained out of sight. He couldn't see the centaurs like this either, however, so it was a two-edged sword.

Aritao narrowed her eyes, seeing many of their prey leap into the water and swim downstream. "Hmm... adaptable," she muttered, her tail twitching. After a few moments, one of her hunters had to speak her name to shake her from her thoughts. Recovering quickly with a hint of embarrassment, she gestured down the shoreline - she knew the river became far more shallow, allowing them to pursue quickly once again.
The Centaur leader found it difficult to shake some of the thoughts that had start to sprout inside her, but up ahead her trusted Snowfall gestured towards the trees. Aritao raised a brow - their prey had run into a trap-infested forest where most of them had initially been captured. A bold and foolish decision. Still, there were plenty of spots for the beasts to hide, but the Centaurs mostly look in one particular area...

Character Name: Amity Choice: C RP Response:
Amity was pretty sure her heart was going to explode out of her chest as the centaurs thumped around her hiding place. She shrunk even further back, desperate to avoid detection… And then they were gone. She waited even longer, almost too long, before peering up to check her surroundings. Nothing. She needed to move, now.
Amity made her way through into the lowlands, blinking a little as she cleared the last of the trees and stood at the edge of the bog. She looked back, grimacing when she heard more noise. The hunters were back on their trail. A quick survey gave her her options. Wading seemed like the least effective idea — she couldn’t see enough to know whether it would be smooth wading or if she would get stuck. The bridge looked questionable, and she didn’t know whether it would bear her weight. Instead, Amity pushed one of the logs into the bog and climbed onto it, using her arms to paddle her further into the bog.
She really hoped nothing tried to chomp on her arm…

Character Name: Cyan Choice: C RP Response:
Cyan had to pick herself out of the pit she had fallen in to. The flask she had found had been a welcome surprise. A bit of booze to help take the edge off being hunted ALIVE was certainly a small blessing.
Sooo, running down the hill at full speed was a stupid idea. This time, cyan had to think smarter. Her last choice could have been a fatal one had the spikes not been rotted through and rendered unusable (but annoying).
As Cyan reached the bog, Cyan made the choice to use a nearby piece of driftwood to float across the surface.

Character: Cian Choice: A RP Response: He was a mess. Grime and muck clung to his front, doused his breeches, and even some debris was caught up in his hair. Cian looked down at himself briefly as he ran and shook his head. A bath would be wonderful about then. The thought was a grudging one, though as he ran and found himself into a bog he... felt his expression dropping and he deadpanned out at the waterlogged terrain. That was... not what he'd meant!
He eyed the waters warily. None of the options stood out as immediately appealing to him. Too many risks and what ifs, but compared to just standing there like a fool? Scowling, he took off towards what remained of a bridged, burned and charred. Perhaps if he were lucky, the centaurs would weigh more than him, and be unable to find solid footing. As it was, his progress on it was... hit and miss, looking for areas that had the least damage when able. Largely, he stayed to the outside, hoping the points where planks overlapped were still strong enough to hold him.

Character: Raliegh Choice: A RP Response: Raliegh looked at the options ahead of him and grimaced, he doubted that the bridge could handle his weight, but between wading into the water that was sure to slow him down, and trying to float across on a log that could be slippery, or might not make it across didn't seem like a good idea, there wasn't enough room for him to fly but he hoped if he covered and put little of his weight down on the chared bridge he might be able to make it across.

Character: Raspbina Luckwyn Choice: A RP Response: Oh, gross. That bog looked nasty. But she needed to get away from the hunters. There were only a few left, right? It was the home stretch now. She looked around for a way to cross and spied the charred remains of a bridge. Better than nothing. She went over to the bridge and started to cross, hoping that she wasn't making herself a clearer target.

Character: Troy Choice: C RP Response:
Troy paused for a moment and pressed himself as flat as he could beneath the thick ferns, holding his breath as he heard the centaurs thunderous hooves approaching. He didn't move an inch as they galloped closer and closer......and then passed him by. They didn't see him and only when they had gotten a distance away where they sounded faint, he moved again and crawled quickly to a point where they cleared. He got to his feet and kept moving until he came upon a familiar and much hated body of land; the bog. The difference being that, this time, he stopped before stumbling into it and had a chance to think of how best to cross it. A look around his surroundings and he saw a log nearby that looked large enough to support him if he stood upright (maybe kneeling but that was a risk to his balance given its shape). He just had to think of it as a different sort of surf board and it would be simple enough but the bog was thick and wouldn't just move the log along. Once he moved it in place, he looked around again until he found a fallen branch that looked strong enough that he could use it to push himself along the surface. Once he had that, he got up on the log and started using the stick like he was on a gondola. All he could hope for now was that nothing got stuck or hindered his movement.
