Veritas's pieces disappeared one by one as Queen stomped them. The wires faded away from Queen as soon as the last one was destroyed, freeing her from their influence completely. The Black Swan wasn't inactive though. As Queen smashed the last piece she would see a purple blur out of the corner of her eye. A sword of purple electricity was coming at her from her left side in an attempt to slash her straight in half.

Fleur kept her arms folded as she heard Misty speak again in her native language. "I'll keep you in a cage, woman," she replied, the words flowing off her tongue naturally. "Apparently you're too dangerous to be let outside on your own." Jessica looked back and forth between Misty and Fleur, completely unaware of what they were saying. She leaned slightly against Misty to reassure her.

"I have found my Treasure."


During the climax of the first round a distortion in space and time occurred. The fabrics of reality were twisted and warped until a portal formed, seeming out of thin air. The portal resided on the sidelines near the tables, where the contestants were previously feasting. After a brief delay a beautiful young woman emerged from the portal sporting heels and a rather seductive attire that complemented her features perfectly. Once the woman exited the portal it vanished without a trace. There was an air of mystery surrounding this woman however those who attend the DWMA may have recognize the woman as one of the school's instructors, Mrs. Zila Lochness.

Zila's rich blue gaze surveyed the landscape. Not only did Zila notice a few of the other contestants but she also noticed an exhilarating fight, according to the screaming fans. The first boute was drawing to a close and Zila stood idly by and witnessed Queen put an end to Black Swan. The crowd erupted in cheer but Zila really didn't display any emotion towards the fight, until Queen made a statement to all of the other combatants. 'Well the Kitsune is certainly confident in her abilities. I'm curious how she will respond once she faces an opponent much stronger then her? ' Zila thought to herself.

Once the crowd died down and the first match was officially over, Zila sought out the Arena Master. Zila did not know the man personally but she thought it would have been a good idea to formally introduce herself to him. As Zila walked towards the Arena, she spotted Klaudia. It was rare for Zila to take any sort of interest in a witch but Klaudia has proven herself to be a good friend over the years. Zila would have said hello but it was more important to speak with the Arena Master first.

"Excuse me sir, would you happen to be the Arena Master." She said politely approaching the blonde haired man.

"I have found my Treasure."


The crowd still seemed to be in high spirits from the previous match. Once the Arena Master announced the contenders for the second match the crowd's cheers simply grew louder. Zila found all of cheering and chattering quite annoying, after all she had grown accustom to the solitude and quiet that came with the Great Lake. Despite the uproars it was still pleasant to see so many people happy, even if it was over bloodshed. If the crowd was going crazy of Queen's match, Zila could only imagine how their reaction would be once she stepped up for her turn.

A pleasant appeared on Zila's face once the man confirmed that he was the Arena Master. Zila had no information on the Arena Master, or what he possibly could be but he was at least charming and appeared to be a good host.

"You're correct. My name is Zila Lochness and it's a pleasure to meet you." She said followed with a humble nod of her head. "Thank you for allowing me to participate in these games of yours. Klaudia and I have known each other for several years." She said with a slight chuckle; perhaps Zila found it funny that several years in her terms typically overlapped a person's lifespan. "I can ensure you that Klaudia will not let you or the crowd down. I will be sure to familiarize myself with my fellow teammates shortly. I also would like to apologize for my late arrival. I had a few complications back home, which needed to be dealt with immediately. I hope to live up to your expectations, now if you will excuse me." With a final bow Zila walked away from the Arena master.

Zila spotted Klaudia preparing for her match, so she decided it would be best to not interrupt her. However Zila thought it would be important to introduce herself to those that were in her company. Zila noticed a kitsune draped in a dark attire and a young man wearing a red jacket. Zila decided to approach the man with the red jacket first. As she walked towards the man something caught her eye, actually someone caught her eye to be more precise. In the distance she spotted none other than Fleur. A low and threatening hiss escaped out of Zila's mouth, which was her typically reaction upon encountering fleur. The pair have had several heated exchanges in the past, which was all due to Fleur's greed. Despite their rivalry, Zila didn't hate Fleur. Zila has dealt with enough troubled students to know that Fleur wasn't one hundred percent a bad person. There was a darkness within her, suffocating her causing her to lash out the way that she typically did. Oddly enough Zila secretly wished that she would be able to free her from that darkness one day like she hoped for all of her troubled students. Sure the little diva was a spoiled, privileged, arrogant, self absorbed, jealous little b***h, who kept trying to steal Zila's sacred treasure, but despite that she still had a heart; even if it was covered under several layers of tar. Zila sighed and waved towards Fleur to acknowledge her presence. Since Fleur wasn't snooping around the Great Lake, she might have even seen a different side of the lake's guardian. Zila intended to speak with Fleur directly but first, she needed to speak with her team.

"You must be a part of Klaudia's team. I'm Zila Lochness and I will be fighting alongside you." She said in a welcoming tone to the man in the red jacket.

The response that Zila received from Fleur was pretty much what she was expecting from the self proclaimed princess of madness. However a low hiss did managed to escape Zila, which indicated she was annoyed of the woman's bratty attitude. Before feelings of anger could manifest within Zila a charming young man appeared pretty eager to introduced himself to her. A warming smile found its way onto Zila's face upon hearing Ezekiel introduction. She did notice that he was looking her over but she decided not to address it, after all she was use to most of the male DWMA students gawking over her human form. At first glance she couldn't tell if Ezekiel was being genuine or if he was just gathering Intel either way it didn't bother her. Prior to coming to this tournament, Zila knew that many would be watching her compete. Given how strong the competition appeared it was only a matter of time before everyone's secrets, abilities, and so on were revealed. So there was really no point in her bolstering her walls and hiding herself from everyone, besides knowing what she can do and stopping her were two different things completely.

"Aren't you quite the charmer." She said playfully. "If you have not heard of me then that means that history has truly forgotten about my family's linage, which is exactly what I had hoped for. Like our teammate Klaudia I enjoy my privacy and prefer to mostly live a life of solitude." For a moment Zila spoke very softly with her gaze lost in the distance. It seemed like there may have been more to her previous statement. After a short delay her gaze returned to Ezekiel, accompanied with a smile. "Despite my statement about privacy, I live quite a busy life as an instructor at the DWMA teaching environmental studies. As a matter of fact I've noticed some of the students are competing. I'm really not that exciting of a woman believe it or not. Hopefully my answer was enough to satisfy your curiosity or perhaps there was something in particular you wanted to know about me on a more personal level?" She said lifting her eyebrow slightly. "I suppose it's your turn to tell me about yourself Ezekiel. I'm guessing that you're a religious man." She said eyeing the cross that he was fiddling with.

Zila didn't mind chatting with Ezekiel but she was curious about her Kitsune teammate and the missing fifth member of their team. There were a ton of questions that Zila had pondered but she decided to not allow her curiosity to get the better of her. For now she would just go with the flow. Apparently the second match was about to start and Zila was eager to see her friend perform. When Zila looked at the other two women in the arena the brunette girl seemed to stand out. Zila tapped her finger across her chin trying to recall the girl's identity. Zila couldn't remember any specific details about the woman but she did recall her being a student of the DWMA at one point. Since the DWMA had so many students it was hard for Zila to recall them all. Seeing how Zila didn't devour the young girl during her time at the academy, meant that she at least never got on Zila's bad side.
