Dam, it didn't look like he had the answer. Sludge seemed a little dejected afterwards, but at least he had the basic idea of what the slide was about. Sneak up from behind, hide, and don't talk. Even he could understand a basic concept such as this.
He reached for the coloring book, grabbing the talking pencil and started drawing lines and circles in the book. The concept of 'staying within the lines' was foreign to him.

Pokerus had decided she was not a fan of this teacher, sitting back in her seat with folded arms. Her ears did perk up when she heard the mention of a book about humans and underwater equipment. That, actually sounded pretty interesting.
When the next slide came up, she read the information and sat there with a confused look on her face. It wasn't...wrong, she didn't think; approaching from behind was a good way to scare them, but the hiding part? It didn't add up in her head. You had to harvest FEAR by scaring them, but then that fear would help your species at a whole, but how would it help if they didn't know what scared them?
" Don't we get more or less powerful depending on how much FEAR we harvest? And doesn't that hinge on how scary our species can be, which would hint that a human would have to know a certain species had scared them in order for the FEAR to be harvested? If we can't be seen, how would they know, say, a ghost scared them and not a vampire?"
Her coloring book was ignored. She couldn't be bothered coloring in it.

(Rolling for Mellow and Lucida)
Mellow's proudness got shattered by the damn professor, he grudgedly referred it as the reason why he disliked female beings that much. They hurt creeple without considering victim's feels and they always thought they were right for everything and did things just for his well beings.
To choose between a stranger and his horrible mother, he reluctantly chose the latter. His mouth pressed into a thin line, didn't nod or say he would read that book the professor recommended. Females were not truthworthy.
He couldn't agree with what the slides said either. In his theory, their existences were enough to lure human towards them, there was no neccessity for them to approach humans. What she was saying, those nonsenses.
Mellow's coloring book was filled with greens and browns, skins, eyes, hairs, outfits and so on. It was really refreshing and comfortable to look at.

Lucida's question and answer were both overlooked, the Erinyes didn't show her discontent and merely narrowed her red eyes at the professor. Well - She would forgive that old lady, elderlies didn't have the ability to tackle things at once, they should sympathize her tragedy.
The class was too boring that she hoped her brother was with her. Approach human from behind? No talking? Seriously? Let's watch some human movies about demons and dare to say that again. The demon girl sighed for how the big generation gap had made the information their professor had all outdated and inappropriate.
Imagining their kind hold a contract and make hand signals in front of a human had made it less dull. It was ridiculous request to ask demons not to talk, since contract was how they mainly use to generate fear from humans, as she knew. It wasn't that she not agreed with the way ghost speices do it, but it was unreasonable making other species follow that.
Lucida had a strong liking towards black, white and red. Hence her coloring book was occupied with those colors and just those colors. Besides, she had added red hearts to every page. Whether she loved the shape or the real thing shall be a mystery.

Shu had her mermaid eyes shone with pride, as a Death hunter, recognition on her observation skills was a cheerful move. She held her gold star dearly with the sweetest smile. The professor mentioned of advanced class drew her attention, she'd be happy to attend another class and listen to how the halloweeners thought they, humans were.
The professor went on for something else, if she had to title it, it would be how to approach your human properly. To be honest, before the partnership with her weapon, she could only see them as vague shadows.
Illustrations on the slides reminded her of the time her sisters told her stories of children materials. Shu watched and allowed herself indulged in reminiscence a little bit, hands supporting her head and elbows on desk.
While students eagerly asking different sorts of questions, the mermaid hummed a quiet but lively melody and enjoy colored her pages. It might be a good thing that mermaids sing beautifully.
It was a great day for Shu, with her pretty mermaid golem (nicely curved), no one was treating her like a lost child there.

"As mentioned," Professor Rime addressed to Shiki, "unless with certified abilities or items, Humans cannot see us. There have been studies of Humans who are sensitive to Fear, but the chances of meeting those are so low, considering that students like you are now allowed to leave Halloween without a proper passport and qualifications anyway. You will not explode if you are noticed, but at your level you should definitely never engage any japery with a Human.
"No riddles," the professor confirmed, "not until you are qualified and have received the proper training to go out into the Human world and harvest Fear through these... riddles."
"If a Human really could see you, which again, this is all theoretical, it would actually cause them a great amount of Fear," the Professor continued, "in that situation, they would probably feel the need to run, not you. It would be best advised however that you do leave as well, as too much Fear can cause them to hurt themselves."
"Indeed, Humans live a strange existence, aware only of their world. They seem in worlds beyond their world, but their process," here the Professor clicked her tongue, "is quite difficult to understand."
The professor seemed to just ignore Eva's notebook entirely, lips pursed for a quick second.

"The proper etiquette for Fear harvesting requires years of training and dedication. Fear harvested is returned to Halloween so our world collectively may grow. If anyone is selfish and foolish enough to harvest Fear only for themselves, they would of course be arrested for such a heinous crime. To grow in Fear yourself, you must seek to improve your own skills, especially in being properly educated."
"It is highly unlikely a Human has claws to approach you with," the professor tsk-tsked at TG, "scareling tales are not something to be shared at in this classroom."
"Not to you, no," Professor Rime wasn't apparently fond of Aksaja's attitude either. "You are still unqualified to do any form of Fear Harvesting. Again with proper protocol and training, you will be able to harvest just enough Fear from Humans, and remain of course, undetected. What I am providing here is an introduction course, not an excuse for you to get grand ideas of strange heroics."

"All right then, onto the third slide, properly conduct into returning back to the Human world!" Again another ring from the haunted triangle. "If you become lost in the Human world in any event or accident, immediately locate a portal. Portals are located in any of the safe areas in the Human World Portal Handbook, which you can buy or borrow at any available library. This book is key to your studies and contains information on how to properly locate special escape portals in the Human world, such as ones that are stationed in human attics, basements, and haunted houses."
"Now! Only properly exiting a portal. Always follow the SOS rule when leaving the Human world. A safe exit will guarantee you arrive back in Halloween in one peace. Do not forget children, as you are still all largely unqualified for an actual visit to the Human world without supervision, in the event you accidentally visit, you will need to properly go to city council and explain how this happened to be. Doing this will prevent this from happening to you a second time and will also give us the proper equipment to project you, our future."
Thankfully at least, the lecture was relatively short.

1) What part of the body do Humans use to think with?
Brain squishy parts, in their head, or the top round part.
Gilly squinted at the first question and was trying to remember if the top part was indeed the head, or maybe it was like a sack that sat on top of their heads. She scratched her head and started patting it trying to feel like what it would be like to have a thinking sack. She decided her answer was good enough and left it as it was.
2) Which book have I not personally written (circle one)
a) Humans and You understanding Human Children
b) Human Toilets and You, A True Mystery (PRETEND THERE'S A CIRCLE AROUND THIS ONE)

Gilly was trying to remember, but she had written soooo many, and they all had human in it. She mentioned the toilet book to Gilly, did she write it? Gilly really had no idea. Pop quizzes were terrifying! What if you don't know the answer!!? She circled the toilet one.

Gilly stared off into the distance. She wasn't sure who any of these council people were. She watched as the words got blurry on the paper. She just ploped down her crayon and circled one without thinking. Please, please don't be wrong.

Gilly looked at the slide still showing the acryonmn. She glanced around, feeling a little guilty looking at it. But she guessed it must be okay. And wrote down SOS, mouthing the words as she wrote. "Stop" "Orderly" "Slow" Trying to put the words into her head as she did so. She then put her crayon down and looked at her answers. I hope... this is okay.

Uru listened intently to the professor’s words even if he was not visibly paying attention. He could multitask! He raised his head then down at the coloring book he was busying himself shading a picture of a ghoul with no arms. Amputated probably. A pop quiz was at the back of the coloring book. He glowered at the childish tome as he flipped to the end. Five questions printed and starts pinned beside them as if to alleviate the stress. It was a darn pop quiz. Admittedly, he did enjoy learning and test-taking, but the questions ranged from common sense to jacking ridiculous.
The first question asked ‘What part of the body do Humans use to think with?’. Obviously, the answer was the brain. That is something they had in common. However, based on previous readings, and if their thinking is possibly similar to themselves, then one could argue that they think with their gut or their heart. But this was Amityville Academy, so he wrote down and underlined the answer Professor Rim was probably looking for.
The second question asked “Which book have I not personally written (circle one)”. Uru immediately underlined the key word ‘not’. The professor opened the class by stating a titles of books she had written and said they were required to read them all. Which – one, that is ridiculous for being a one day class, and two, no one’s got time for that. The first option he knew she had written because it was the first title she had said. The second was mentioned in response to a ghoul talking about toilets. The third was in response to his own statement where she had said he had read the book. Which he had not. The last was mentioned to another ghoul. Those three were not explicit said was written by her, just that the ghoul needed to read up on the toilet title and past title. However, all three of them were give gold stars. Process of elimination, the first and third because of the aforementioned thoughts. That left the two titles that the ghouls had gotten. The demon hellhound was just about to circle b) Human Toilets and You, A True Mystery because it stood out against the other three titles that started with ‘Humans and You’. In hindsight, The ghoul said something about flushing toilets and the other talked about conquest. Both allude to the title that the professor mentioned. He had discussed scents and was told that he had been reading about the Art of Attraction. As a hellhound, he is aware of how scents work in attracting. Damien is irresistible and Brenna is comforting. But he’s never read that book, she never mentioned that book, it could be on the long list or it may not. So he was back to not knowing the answer. Skipped it for now.
The third question asked ‘Should you talk to a Human if you are still a learning student? (circle one)”. The obvious answer is that you should never talk with a Human. So No.
Uru lowered at the forth question because it was a ridiculous one. How was he supposed to know who was in charge of Human-to-Civilian Relationships in the Halloween Town Hall Council? He didn’t! Skipped.
The last question was simple because the professor had just rambled on about it. He wrote out the acronym and filled in what each of them stood for. With a sigh, he looked back up at the two blank answers. He may kick himself later for it, but he circled the title he was given. The toilet was relevant and the conquest seems equally plausible. And circled off the forth answer. No amount of thinking was going to lead to a successful answer. A quarter chance at being right was better than leaving it blank.
The demon turned him exam to the professor.
