 Moss Underwater gave this kin and his set-up a curious look. A very long, curious look. Might as well see exactly what he had to offer. Moss gave the brew only a small look before actually tasting it. It was meant to be tasted, after all, no reason to delay. It tasted nothing like what she'd been expecting. She wouldn't have been able to explain what she'd been expecting, but it certainly wasn't that. Her cough though small was involuntary. Moss knew then that things were not going to plan at all. She seemed to have a bit of the brew up her nose now. Which led to more coughing and a bit of snorting. This wasn't pleasant at all. +1 token

Kept took his sip silently. He wasn't really used to the crowd, but he could appreciate something like this. A new experience, right?
And quite a palatable one, too, although for some reason, Kept could not stop blinking.

A nice, steaming drink - that was just what she needed after a long day. At least, that's what Crushed thought; it sounded great! Even if it did taste funny, it'd warm her up, right? Unfortunately, the bitter taste and hot temperature combined into a disastrous combination as she swallowed incorrectly, sending her nearly choking for several minutes. The buck gave her some tokens for her trouble, but did he look amused?!

Traveler inched cautiously back up to the stand with the drinks, peering closely at what was being offered to him. He remembered something hot and pleasant, but he also remembered the coughing, and he wasn't entirely sure how he felt about coming again.
But what was a life without risks, after all?

This particular drink makes her absolutely wired. Her eyes shoot open and any tiredness from passing between booths is immediately gone. She dances and runs in a circle to release some energy; it's probably going to take a while to wear off, and she takes her token to dash about and see where else she could possibly go.

8. The drinking went fine, but for some strange reason your eyelid won't stop twitching. Nearly Beloved gives you 1 token to rapidly blink somewhere else. Ooh! Lucky wanted to take a drink. He trotted up and dunk his head into the shell, drinking the liquid. It went down smooth enough but he felt himself rapidly twitch. What had happened?

 White Sands returned to drink more of the strange brew from before, bending down to sip the contents carefully. It sounded like it might be different each time she drank it, so she wondered what would happen to her this time. Once she finished it she stepped back, waiting for something to happen. Again, like before, she felt fine, although her eye kept twitching. Was it the brew that did that?

That was the kind of knowledge that made him drink very eagerly. Perhaps, er, too eagerly. The hot, rather bitter liquid rushed down his throat in a very painful manner, and he was left hacking for a long, long time.
But he also left the booth with three more tokens than he'd had before, so he'd consider it a victory for himself.

"Oh... oh wow! Wow this is good! This is great! You made this? What's it made out of? Can I make it? Do you grow it or find it? Is it hard to make? How do you get it so hot? Wha-- oh, am I in the way? Can I come up and help you make more?" Steam really, really liked the drink he was given. He wasn't sure why he got the look he did!

Flame Lily decided to give this liquid another try. She took a small sip and started coughing slightly. All of a sudden she realized it was up her nose again. That familiar burning sensation returned. 'WHY?!" she cried out.

"How do I know it's not poisonous?" asked We Break, although there was a rather long line of...well, not satisfied customers, but at least they weren't dead. Also, there were enough intimidating ascended kin in the area that he was willing to risk this.
Except...oh. It was pleasantly fragrant and quite complex in flavor. We Break would have to retu - ah - why was he hiccuping?
Maybe he wouldn't return, then. At least the token was nice compensation.

The last time that Traveler had been to this particular stand, it had resulted in two quite...eventful...drinks. But apparently he was just a sucker for something good to drink, so he was back yet again.
