Cuileann decided against really exploring the festival today, she wanted to sit and relax enjoying the activity around her.
Although the festival was fun, Lokni needed to get back on track for his thesis. He knew he needed more data and he searched for a spot and found one. He noted each race, gender (if applicable), size, amount of clothing, and a few other details when he was recording his findings. He took the temperature every 5 minutes to have accurate readings.
Karayas was enjoying herself way to much, she felt overloaded. Running about felt fantastic but she tired herself out to fast by doing that. She found a small tent that had tables for you to sit at and rest while staying warm. She found it so cozy she laid her head down on her arms and took a small nap.
Kayndie wanted to find her new freshling friend to show him her newest familiar. She was happy as a demon could be and set off to find him.
Iason was beginning to get the belly ache again, he had not eaten any sweets but he did eat some of the Peppermint Bark before he came to the festival. He should have known better! Sighing to himself he sat down on a small stump to rest a bit before heading back to the festival.
Kalek ran and ran enjoying the feel and smell of the cold air rushing about him. He then saw a small bench and sat down on it relishing the bustle of the festival. He wanted to experience everything, this was his first festival. People watching was a part of that experience wasn't it? He has seen a pretty blue freshling Imp earlier and wanted to speak to her but she was running around with something in her hands and by the time he got to where she was she was gone. He hoped by sitting here he would see her again.

Eidil was indeed almost finished, and Cal confirmed that she was still up for some serious boogie. They played another round of bowling during which Eidil won a golden necklace, then moved on to the next activity of the day.
Mary was happy to drag anyone and everyone into discussions of games, and ended up inviting most of them to join her on Let's Plays in the future. She got a book from the next trivia question.
Nkiruka had never heard of a Let's Play, and she was intrigued. "I don't know if I'd like horror stuff," she said. "But the rest of it sounds like fun." She fiddled with the snowflake bracelet she'd won from the last question.
Xyla shrugged. "We do other gameth too. You could join uth on a fantathy game, or thienth fiction or thomething." They'd come up to another trivia master, and this time, it was up to Xyla to provide the correct answer. The trivia master gave them an extra trinket, which they agreed to let Xyla have (a snowflake bracelet). Xyla put on the bracelet and hugged her vespercat plushie close.
Naihilus nodded. "He really does."
Something rubbed up against his ankle. He looked down to see a Fennekit sniffing his feet. He looked around for any sign of an owner, but since no one seemed to notice the kit, and since there was no collar or leash... Nai pulled out his phone and texted Kuni. Would Mushroom like a conspecific friend? he typed.
Kuni's answer came back in two parts. The first part read I literally don't have the energy to look up 'conspecific' right now, dummkopf. Part two read Looked it up. Feeling even sicker now. Please send fluff therapy.
Nai looked down at the Fennekit. "Looks like you're coming home with me," he murmured. The fennekit looked up at him and yipped twice, seemingly unwilling to leave his side.
Verity threw one last dart before calling it a day. It was time to run their errands and get home before Shera did. She won a copy of Island of Treasure and led the way back home.
Melisara took careful aim at the beanbag board and successfully won another book.
Denidar's prize for his next toss was a potted plant that he intended to put on his window sill. And why not?
Raniol's next prize was a little more mundane than his brother's--he won a bag of candy, which he immediately shared out between them.
Arivan had just finished playing a game to win a new friend, a wisp. With the treasures in one hand he playfully chased a new wisp friend giggling as they went. Arivan and the new familiar dodged the older kids gathered at the celebration.

Karyn ran lightly over the various trinkets laid out in the piles on the tables, she stopped and looked through a pile of bracelets, looking one at a time at the various colors though she kept being drawn back to a single one. Being told she could have it she thanked and slipped it around her wrist.

Annie had finally arrived at the festival - a bit late, but still enough to catch on to the beginning of the fun! Mavis the flitterat perched on his shoulder as he traipsed through the various games and stands. As he walked by a free candy booth, he stuffed a bundle of green candy canes into his jacket pocket, thinking that some of the little guys at home would like them. On second thought, he pulled one out of the bundle for himself and began fiddling with the wrapper. This was the first time he'd been to a festival without even the slight supervision of his mom - with her green thumb at this time of year, all sorts of people were ordering flowers from her. But Annie was still in school, and he didn't have to work in the shop much anymore since his mom hired that guy she was fawning over all the time. He was so ready to jump into this!
He walked by a Goblin who seemed to be in the middle of greeting a very friendly skyfish. "Did you know one of those guys can grow to be three feet long?" he commented casually, stuffing the candy cane in his mouth. The fish was his favorite color, too - he'd have to see if he could find any of its littermates while they were open for adoption tonight.
Cuileann realized she did not pick up a stocking to put her trinkets in when she first arrived. She decided to head back and ask if she could still obtain one. She always took her prizes back to her dorm with her each night for safe keeping anyway which is why she did not think she needed one.
Lokni was so involved with his data collecting he forgot to enjoy the festival. He just sat there taking reading after reading and writing what he saw. Soon his hand began to cramp and he realized how long he had been sitting there as his bottom was numb from sitting to long and the cold. He laughed to himself and went to find himself something hot to drink.
She woke up from her small nap and decided she wanted something sweet. Tapping her finger against her cheek she thought about all the sweet choices available and suddenly she knew what she wanted. Peppermint Bark! She got up and skipped out into the cold weather on her search for her sweets!
On her way to find her new freshling friend Kayndie happened by a table that held the bracelets like the one she had gotten earlier in the festival. She wanted another one and this time chose the golden yellow one to match her outfit. Picking it up and slipping it on she nodded then continued on her journey to find her new friend.
Iason debated whether to return to his dorm or just sit there with a upset stomach. He suddenly thought Peppermint is good for a upset stomach! He got up with a giddy smile and went to find some Peppermint. He knew it was flimsy excuse but hey he had heard it was good for relieving stomach upset so naturally he went to get some.
Kalek was going from booth to booth, table to table, tent to tent to take in all the sights the festival had to offer. When a plush caught his eye, he loved the little plushes and asked if he could have one, making his selection he hugged it as he walked off to the next booth.

Xris had grown used to noone addressing him at this gathering and his gaze left the fish landing on the guy talking "Actually I didn't know that to be honest" he replied softly, his free hand moving to rub the back of his head in a sheepish manner. "I only have this lil guy and a flitterat who is in my dorm." He looked back towards the fish peering at it once more "You know a lot about these?" he questioned figuring he could learn more from the other male.
Mertle wasn't usually a fan of these kind of things. There were too many people, and too many sounds. But, Jack had wanted to go, and it was well-known knowledge that if Jack was somewhere, Mertle was close behind. She pressed into his side, fingers clutched to his arm. Really, they had just arrived and she already wanted out.
"... When can we go back?" She whispered, pressing away as someone attempted to hand her a trinket. No thank you.

Jack grunted towards Mertle as she pressed closer. He didn't mind, not really, but it did stop mobility in his arm, which meant he couldn't push her from harms way. She was uncomfortable, he could see that, but he was here for a reason, and that reason involved her, actually. Mertle never left their room, and often she missed out on fun things. This event he had plans; he'd get her something. Something cute. That's what she liked, right? Most kids his age liked cute things, it seemed.
Gruffly, he plucked her fingers off his shirt, shaking his arm out. "Soon. Just wanna get somethin' to make it worth our time." He let out a soft sigh as Mertle clutched his arm again. She was determined, it seemed.

Cyoti was pissed. Mink had tricked him, of course. Something about 'you gotta make friends'. Something stupid. She was stupid. She had tricked him into coming, claiming they were going to a video game store and then, promptly, dropping him here. She was lucky he didn't yet know his way back home. So lucky.
She better be taking him to the store after this.

Vera had made a mistake. Void was supposed to come with her to the festival (despite how eerily creepy they were), but at the last second she lost them. Now, she was alone, which meant anyone could find her. Strangers. Strangers were bad, she knew that. Ash had mentioned that multiple times. Don't talk to strangers. Got it.
Was Void talking to strangers? Oh! She needed to find them! Stop Void from doing what she knew they were doing. Void never listened. Ever. Not once.
During her worries she failed to notice as something squirmed against her shoe. Not until a loud squeak startled her. Jumping, the small child sighed in relief as a Flitterat stared back at her. Cute... did this count as a stranger?

Minuet did not want to be here. Especially with her. The day Ava brought him into her house she had introduced his new "siblings"; Ariel and Maple. Ariel was fine. He was little and calm for the most part. He didn't start fights or cause much mess. Maple? Oh, Maple. That had been a different story. The battle to share rooms had been intense and left a bitter taste in Minuet's mouth. He hadn't learned the word for that feeling until recently; resentment. She judged him. He knew it. She judged him for having come to the home basically a wild animal and with little knowledge. She saw him as lesser. He was a burden.
So, when Ava ordered them to go together to the festival he had literally hissed at her, the easiest way for him to show annoyance. Maple had simply sulked the entire ride there. Now, here they were, Minuet lagging behind Maple (she knew the grounds better than he did). No words were exchanged.

Maple did not like Minuet, either. A lot of it wasn't for the reasons Minuet thought they were. No, they were much more mundane and honestly childish, and she knew that. One big reason was that she had to share her room with a complete stranger. Someone she was supposed to consider her "brother". The next was the fact he often took what he wanted, not yet learning that it was rude to just steal things. He wasn't "civilized", and she knew that was a rather cruel thing to say. It was true, though. Her mother had found him in a creepy cult-like town, where he had been abandoned in a decimated clock tower. He was strange, and thus hard to communicate with. Impossible, even.
Not only that, but he was aggressive, the type to bite when mad and hiss when frustrated. He was hard to understand, and it left Maple uncomfortable. Yet, he was "family" now, and Maple had finally, after months, realized she had no choice.
Her eyes were drawn to a booth giving out light necklaces. Huh. Maybe.... a gesture of kindness..... might calm him down? Minuet looked ready to scream. To be honest, she was about to, too. Approaching the booth, she swiped a necklace, turning around and throwing it at Minuet.
"Here. It's like you. The color." Oh nine, she sounded like an idiot. Luckily, Minuet caught it, eyes widening as he stared at them before looking at her in bewilderment. "What. Just.... wear it. Like this." She gestured around her neck, watching as Minuet slowly slid it around his.
This was going to take forever.

Her eyes were behaving for once. Even if they weren't, Lilith was keeping a close eye on her. They were even holding hands! Nothing was happening to Reimei today. She rarely ever felt safe, but whenever Lilith was around she knew nothing could happen to her.
Reimei spotted a fallen plushie, scooping it up as Lilith ushered them down the festival field.

The only reason Lilith was here was because Reimei asked her to be, which meant she'd do it. She did anything Reimei asked, within seconds. To hell was she letting anyone lay a finger on Reimei. Reimei was practically blind and often stumbling into trouble, and it was up to Lilith to keep her safe. Which she was happy to do.
Lilith froze as someone dropped something into her free hand, frowning at it before handing it to Reimei. "Here." The quiet squeal of delight from Reimei was enough to please her.

Era kept eerily close to her mother, Litla. Too many people, too many things, but she wanted to be there. She wanted to experience what Litla had as a kid. That, and she heard familiars were just waiting to be found here. She wasn't missing that chance.

Shiori kept to herself. Lets be real, she was only here for a familiar, and she wasn't hiding that as she kept her eyes peeled for one.
Vega was excited, to say the least. If this festival was anything like the haunted hallows, then he was going to get all sorts of neat STUFF! As soon as he entered the fair grounds, holding the hand of his current escort, Nashira, rewarded with booths and shops and games of all kinds. He pulled on Nashira's hand and they walked over to a booth where Vega acquired a super soft plush.
Nashira:
Nashira didn't mind the festivals. She actually enjoyed them. However, she was escorting around a freshling today. Vega was excited, as it seemed all the younger students were. At least she only had one to look out for. But he instantly started pulling her around, wanting to look at everything. They stopped first at a little booth where the kirin was given a plushie, and Nashira found a pair of cute bell earrings.
Charon:

Charon was chanting to himself as he walked about the fair grounds, hoping that no one would be giving him rocks like at the haunted hallows festival. So far so good. Somehow while he wasn't looking, someone hooked some candy onto his tail. What the...?
Meadow:
This should be GREAT! This holiday was all about getting STUFF right? He was totally going to get more stuff then Aurellia, for SURE! And right off the bat, he was given a little present that had a glowing lightbulb necklace in it. SCORE!
Keahi:
Keahi wasn't sure how they found themselves at another festival. Really they didn't want to be here, but ended up going anyways. Keahi was walking around with a couple older students, staring at everything. While ignoring their caretakers, someone handed Keahi a plushie.
Kingston:
Kingston loved this time of year. Hot cider, tasty baked goodies... what wasn't to love? He was walking with a pair of freshlings today, Clover and Fiona, showing them around and making sure they wouldn't get lost. He got a pair of antlers to try and make the kids laugh.
Fiona:
Fiona wasn't totally sure what to do with herself at this festival. She would have rather been walking around with her siblings... but oh well. You can't have everything. At least Kingston and Clover seemed nice enough. Clover was a little weird though... As she was pondering this, Kingston seemed to have gotten her a plushie, which snapped her out of her thoughts and she smiled brightly, hugging the plush.
Clover:
Clover wasn't enjoying the party much. She didn't really want to be here. It was cold and it was crowded. At least she was with someone her own age... She spotted Fiona getting a plushie from Kingston. Before the grimm could give her one too, a wisp bowled right into her, nearly knocking her down. ...This might have been better then any plush!
Parfait:
OH BOY! Another festival! Parfait couldn't WAIT! She was already running around, almost losing Atropos, her guardian for the festival. She had to look at absolutely EVERYTHING! the plushies, the candies, the games, the OH! SHINY! She picked up a bracelet with sparkly snowflakes.
Tien:
So this was a festival? She had heard her classmates getting excited, but Tien hadn't really put much thought into going. But here she was, walking around with a kumiho, Miwako. Tien wasn't sure if her parents were here, or if they were at home with her brother being warm. But she was exploring. And her exploring seemed to pay off as she met a feisty cockatriel. It tried to bite her so she bopped it on the beak and scolded it. It seemed confused that someone had stood up to it, and followed her around after that.
Miwako:
Miwako really did like children. She was having fun with the hybrid Kumiho. The child was getting into everything. While Tien was supposed to be right beside her, Miwako was looking at a shop, and bought a snowglobe. Right as she turned around to show her companion, she saw the child with a familiar. Oh goodness! At least it wasn't biting her...
Thebe:
Thebe wasn't sure he wanted to be here, but here he was. It was crowded here, and it wasn't like his mom was willing to show him and his sister around. He might as well see what he could while he could. He was walking between older students' legs when he spotted a pair of earrings that seemed to have been lost. Welp, they were his now.
Atropos:
It was fun watching Parfait get so interested in everything. She wanted to look at everything so fast, that there were a few times Atropos was sure she'd lost her fellow hollow. But each time, Parfait came running back and grabbed her hand or dress, and tried to get her to hurry up. At least for the moment, Parfait was distracted with a shop, and Atropos got to look around. OH! They had plants here? She could use some more plants in her room. She was buying it, and a fluffbug very nearly made her drop it! And what's more, the familiar wouldn't leave her alone! she decided not to fight it, and let the familiar come with her. It couldn't hurt her plants too much... right?
Sesha:
Sesha was bundled up, but still felt cold as he slithered around the fairgrounds. He liked the decorations and lights, but wished he could see the colors. Oh well. He must have looked down, because another naga handed him a plushie.
Gallius:
Maybe he was too old for this, or maybe he wanted to bring his aunt a peace offering. Whatever the reason, Gallius was at the festival, and he had a pair of plushies in his hands. But as he slithered around, he noticed a hallowed naga hybrid who seemed to be... distracted? Upset? He wasn't sure, so he moved closer and gave him one of the plushies he had.

"Oh, Flitterats are the best," Annie said, and his own little rat squeaked loudly from his shoulder as if to express agreement. The little claws dug into his shoulder more tightly as the Goblin's fish swooped up to meet Mavis. The young Fey grinned, nodding vigorously at his new acquaintance. "Yeah, you could definitely say that!" he enthused, "I don't have one of my own yet, but I've done a lot of research. I hope the three feet thing doesn't scare you - they're really sweet pets, and they can even learn tricks if you play your cards right."
He reached up to scratch the head of his rat, continuing, "I've been trying to teach Mavis here to play dead, but she doesn't like the notion much. What's your flitterat like?"
