Due to popular demand, the Capture track is splitting into two groups! There will be two groups of nine, divided up by which side of each floor you are exploring.
This thread is Capture Right, and it is the side exploring the Green bathroom. Capture Left is here and is the side exploring the Purple bathroom.
Capture Left will have a separate number on the d20. Once Capture Left hits 9 people, it will close. Characters who have not chosen their side will be reallocated by me in my next GM post at 2000 PST.
Please hold for your actual update post and thank you for your patience while I noodled this out!

Someone pushes open the door to the right-hand bathroom.
Nothing happens.
It is very anticlimactic.
Except once everyone shuts up and files in, they can hear something: ragged breathing, the raw sounds of someone trying to suppress their sobs. "He won't be out there, Ashley, he won't be out there, it's not him out there, trust me, Ashley, he won't be out there and he won't hurt me and he won't be out there you just have to get up, Ashley, you have to get up before he comes back oh God oh God oh God, he won't be out there, trust me, Ashley--"
THE NUMBER IS 16 THE TIME IS 1730 YOU HAVE DISCOVERED A WOMAN HIDING IN A BATHROOM STALL DO YOU APPROACH? OR DO YOU CHASE THE ********>
A woman. A woman in need. That much, Autumn could handle. Pushing through the crowd, Autumn approached the stall, and knocked cautiously on the door. She was a bleeding heart, she was. A woman in need... Autumn would gladly take her downstairs and to the crew with bandages.
"Ashley? You said it was Ashley? Are you okay in there?" She asked, voice low and soft.
"Talk to me. What's going on? I'm here for you, baby."

Someone was sobbing, uncontrollably. Rosie's instinct was to figure out why, especially when it became clear it was a woman. Her feathers bristled, but Autumn was quicker. It would be pointless to crowd her right now so she hung back and peeked into a different stall.
"Can anyone up there hear me? This is Leila Townhome. There's three weres heading your way who are there to help you. Do NOT attack them. If you want to work with them they should be smart enough to answer to Wolf, Fisher or Bunny. They are NOT berserk like the other one we saw. Again, DON'T HURT THEM."
YOUR NEXT GM POST WILL COME AT 2000 PST

Lucas let Autumn deal with the sobbing woman - if that's all she was. He opened the other stalls with his prosthetic arm after Rosie started to do the same, looking up at the vents, checking for any other signs of hidden threat.

Chel didn't like it, but she followed beside Jack to the bathroom.
The bathroom was like any other bathroom Chel had been in. Maybe a bit nicer than the bar stalls she was used to, but decent. It looked pretty empty and Chel was prepared to leave, but as it grew quiet she heard it.
Someone had already approached the girl and Chel didn't want to crowd her. The last thing a traumatized person needed was fifty faces staring down at them. So instead Chel watched the door and watched to see what the person would say.
"Look Shun, yer area of expertise. See f'you can make this one throw up too," she whispered to the cop, not loud enough for anyone else to hear, but enough to give herself a snicker.

"Wolf, Fisher, and... Bunny?" Rosie shot Lucas a quizzical look. It'd be funny, if they weren't neck deep in bullshit and drowning in murder. Who named a wolf bunny? Ah well, as long as Bunny was nice and cuddly, they'd be good. "Best keep that in mind, I guess." She muttered it softly to herself.

since ur checking stuff out like Rosie, you're probably closer for her to give you the 'wtf' look lmao
"Our animal counterparts," he answered, glancing over to Rosie. He wasn't sure the other had actually intended him to hear, but...he did. "Wolf here." Lucas quirked the corner of his mouth in the faintest smile. "Bunny and Fisher went with the other group. We also have names but that's as good an explanation as any."
As the door swung open, Shun readied himself in case something might burst out. No, instead, there was just a very distressed woman inside. Upon hearing Chel's quip, he gave her a sharp look but gave no response. He also paused to listen to the message coming from below. Wolf. Fisher. Bunny. Those were the three he had seen already. Good to know. He still didn't trust them, but he'd cooperate for now.
"Ask her if she has seen anything, or if she is hurt. Then we need to get out of here," he told Autumn, who was closest to her. He then stepped outside, looking around for claw marks against the floor or other signs of the creature in the vicinity.
Oh... OH! Christ, she hadn't noticed him. She hadn't been looking too closely when she addressed Lucas. An embarrassed blush covered Rosie's cheeks, "A-ah. Sorry. I didn't uhm... Realize."
"I didn't know there were different weres... I thought it was only uhm... Wolves like you?" Rosie looked back at Lucas and cocked her head curiously at the man.

"He won't be there, Ashley, you have to believe me, he won't be there, you're safe, Ashley, you're safe--" She cuts off at the knock. "Are you human," she asks, her voice is trembling, and two feet (human feet and human shoes) lower into sight beneath the stall. "I thought he was human but he wasn't, he wasn't, I don't want to come out, don't make me, it's not safe out there, I have to stay in here, it's safe, if I'm quiet, if I'm quiet it won't. Find me."
Despite saying she has to be quiet, Ashley seems to do nothing but babble.

Lucas uttered a soft sound. "It's fine. Better than the shouting from before." Shrugging, he rolled his prosthetic arm, still looking around. "We're only in this about an hour now, so we're about as surprised as you." He smiled, but it was thin and humorless. "There's probably more than us -- the one who used the bullhorn? She's a fox. I mean that like vulpine. And that she's a pretty lady."
The woman - Ashley - her response made him frown a little. Glancing to Autumn, he motioned towards the door. Should he leave?

Autumn quickly leaned over to Lucas, and whispered- god hoping Ashley did NOT hear him and that wolf boy did- 'stay by the door. just in case.' She walked closer, and in a surprising amount of bravery, stuck one of her own obviously human shoes just under the stall door.
"Look baby, see? Totally human. Nothing freaky about me... except maybe my good looks," she teased, voice still soft and low. "I'm here for you. We've got some human friends downstairs who can take care of you and keep you safe if you'll come out and see me. We're not gonna hurt you."
She stepped back a bit. "I'll get you downstairs if you'll tell me what happened. I'm here for you love, I promise."
“… She’s trying, they need to be calm enough to answer questions first.” Zac said with a concerned look at Shun. “…she sounds… hysterical, shock maybe, I can’t say I blame her.” He added softly.
He put a light hand on Lucas’s arm while he took a breath and glanced around the bathroom in general. He was no detective, no werewolf, not even a healer but he did worry about his friends.
