Has a distress call been sent out now? And if so, what form does it take? Such as phone call urging people to come to a certain address, or some kind of text alert on the phone.

mewrose Has a distress call been sent out now? And if so, what form does it take? Such as phone call urging people to come to a certain address, or some kind of text alert on the phone. Yes. Alpha Leporis used the following distress signal (details are from the senshi phone information thread.) Quote: Distress Signal ~ Created by Ash, this handy little app is useful for those times when you're in a tight spot and have no time or space to call for back up. When the app is pressed, it sends out a signal to all senshi phones and upgraded knight rings within a mile. Phones/rings in range then start making an alarm sound and display a map with the source of the signal marked on it and a plea for help ASAP. Negaverse power signatures close to the source of the signal are also displayed, to inform responders of what they might be getting into. The alarm can be turned off by pressing the app a second time.

Hmm. I don't think my page can partake unless she notices something in civ form. She hasn't found her knight ring yet.

Your character does not need to learn about the event through a senshi phone or signet ring. They could just be in the area, sense order or chaos power signatures or even notice the odd signature coming from within the shop. The distress signal is just one way to introduce your character into the role-play.

Question for when we get to the battle portion: how will characters' magic effect things? Would damage-inflicting magic use the same rolls? Would magic that acts as a buff, debuff, or other effect change things? For example, Aquila's magic increases the accuracy of herself or an ally, but has no direct effect on the enemy.

Regardless of magic type, your attack's damage will always be determined by the dice roll. However, you may describe how you did that damage in any way you like.

Question! Aquila critically failed on her first attack. If I understand the rules right, she misses her second attack automatically? Does that hold true even though the monster critically failed this attack?

The final post for the event will be Monday, January 30th! You have until then to roll if you want to pick up a shard (as this will be when the results are revealed and my closing post will be made).
