"Noooo," Sawyer wailed dramatically. And somewhat drunkenly. Actually, he may have just been wailing because Po abandoned him for Richard, and not because she died, but he seized the opportunity of dramatically faux-weeping into his arms to put his head down.

Zac laughed, just a good-natured sound as he palmed his forhead. “God, I think we’re all too good at being wolves in uniforms. None of us think like civilians anymore perhaps.”
He shook his head and then offered an amused look. “Sorry, as one of the dead, you can always chalk it up to Hair envy.”
Makayla watch as one more makes it over to the corner. Laying her head back down, she waits with her eyes shut tight. This was turning out to be alot more fun then she honestly thought it would be.
Even if she wanted night to be over.

"Dawn breaks, folks." Maybe some of Ever's cheer had faded out this time -- not to depression, not upset, just thoughtful. Looking over the lot of them, his eyes lingering here and there. He was thinking about more than just the folks in front of him, and it took him a moment to focus, on Avery.
"Avery, it looks like you were a bit too talkative for the wolves last night. They devoured you while everyone else slept, and now you're dead." He raised one hand, shrugging, helpless -- nothing he could do about it, at least. "As with the others, if you'd like to dramatically enact your death, you're welcome to do so, but from here on out you can't say a word."
Once again, the wolves had killed a villager. Four dead, and thus far they hadn't hit a single wolf...
"Who's lynched tonight?" __________________
OOC NOTE:
It's lynching time!
For the next 48 hours, you should discuss in character who you think might be a wolf, who should be lynched, etc. If you want to say you think you felt someone move in the night -- go for it. If you want to go based on your knowledge of people in character -- go for that. If you want to lynch your BFF because it's hilarious -- also solid grounding.
I only have one request: Keep your posts brief. If possible, stick to 3-4 sentences max. Make it easy for people to read and keep the play going! You can post a bunch of times or you can post once, and that's up to you.
By 48 hours from this post, however, you should post in red bold font who your character is voting to be lynched. I'll post a reminder at the halfway mark!
Sorry Indu, but Avery is now dead. I'm giving you the opportunity to RP out a death scene IC if you'd like, so as to pad out your word count and make sure you have the required 450, if you don't already. However under no circumstances should you say anything in your death scene. It's a dramatic, fun, stupid thing for you to do, not a way to give extra information!
As always, if anyone's confused, just shoot me a PM/IM. I'm around a lot. XP

Was she surprised? Not especially, though it really was a pity. And, in her mind, poor strategy. The brunette stifled a laugh as she stood, out of respect for the ban on sound, and winked at the group when her card was revealed. Seconds later, mock fear graced her features, eyes widening, red lips parting as she took one step back - ineffectually, it seemed, as soon she dropped her knees onto a pillow, hands clutching at the throat that had been invisibly torn out.
After her death, she gave Lena a look and yanked the bottle of vodka from the drink table. That was coming with her. Two small cups were snagged and she sashayed her way over to the quiet corner, gesturing briefly between herself and Porsha, and pouring each of them a shot. At least she could have a spot of fun, right? She was definitely glad she wasn't stuck there with just Krishna or Richard [far too drunk, already] - who had already hit her alarm button for fellows she wouldn't want to run into alone in an alley.

From the corner of his eye, Krishna noted that a fourth person had joined their silent group. When he saw that she was very clearly interested in only having a private drinking party with Porsha, he openly snorted and purposefully moved as far away from the two of them as the corner would allow. He wanted nothing to do with either of those two bitches - both had turned on him and Richard, and that was enough of a dig to his pride to pretend they did not exist.
At least they hadn't offered his already intoxicated friend a drink. It saved Krishna the trouble of having to knock it out of his hand. Richard's liver and kidneys were suffering enough liquor exposure tonight; anything stronger than beer would do his red-headed partner no favors.

More beer down the gullet. More alcohol in his blood. More growing spite towards his fellow officers. He was glad he only knew two of them as civilians, though maybe if he knew the powered identities of a few here, he might have tried a little harder to play along. Might. It was an awfully big might.
By the time poor Porsha met her demise, he was on his umpteenth beer, and like Sawyer, he 'wept' for his fallen friend... could he call her a friend? The post-training exercise was certainly one to remember, even in his drunk state. AND HIS SUNGLASSES MAGICALLY APPEARED ON HIS HEAD- how did this happen?
Then Avery was cut, and it took everything for him not to want to cackle out loud. No, no, he was already in enough trouble with this group... laughing at another poor villager being mauled in the night would have been just rude. And probably a death sentence. She could have been someone important, right? Right? Didn't want any of that.
He did, however, want that vodka, and despite Krishna's pushing, he made grabby hands towards it.

Zac made a surprised sound, of who he expected to die at the hands of wolves, Avery was not the one he would have thought, it made him frown slightly, though it turned into a small laugh when she took the Vodka with her. At least she was taking it more maturely than a few others.
“Well… since it seems trying to track ‘wolfish’ behavior is just pointing out officers to us.” He chuckled slightly.
“Our most vocal people have all been fellow villagers, so…" His mind worked while eyes took in participants. "Gabriel, you’ve been a very quiet sort of participant. Maybe we should consider that you are… too quiet? So, for a change of pace, you have my vote.”

She hadn't expected Avery to go out, and Vanya looked rather stricken to hear Ever's declaration. "Oh, no," she said, as if Avery's acted-out death had been the real thing.
Which left the question of, who in the world would want to kill Avery? She'd been... really active, actually, always asking the right questions, and that meant that it did make sense to get rid of her... just not entirely so, strategy-wise. God, why was it a social game? She was so bad at reading poker faces. She looked around the room, and thought...
"I, uh," she said. "I think I'm going to vote for Makayla..."
Posted: Thu Nov 14, 2013 4:24 pm
Makayla's dark eyes turn towards Vanya, arching a brow for a moment "Very nice, thank you for even thinking about me for one moment." with a shrug, she looks away from her without another thought. She personally didn't care if she got picked or not, this was a game to her nothing more. She treated it as such, and wouldn't allow it to get to her.
Glancing around, she arches a brow "Um...I'm honestly not sure this go round...so I guess I will choose Vanya. No hard feelings, but might as well throw you into the mix as well." she gives her a grin before laying her head back down on her arms.
Gabriel shrugged. "Either I am an extremely clever player or this is the first time I've gotten drunk and I'm worried that if I'm too loud I'll say something really stupid," he said, not sounding too worried. It was a game, and hell, even he had to admit that being at either extreme was suspicious. Being too loud or being too quiet was a good way to catch eyes. "Besides, Laine's been pretty quiet too, and like you said, that's suspicious...so my vote is for her." Throwing her under the bus? Maybe a little.

Laine practically choked on the beer when Gabriel's name was said. Well that was surprising. She was about to say something when her eyes narrowed. "a*****e." She grumbled. "I was going to defend you from the short angry blue thing-" At this point she thrust a hand in Zac's direction, she didn't know the guys name or else she wouldn't have called him that. "But quiet frankly he scares me. And you, thankfully, you don't." She then snatched what was left of the beer back. "Guess it's true what they say. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer." So just because she was new to a group made her suspicious? ******** that. "I'm voting Gabriel."

Zac choked on his own beer. “E… Excuse me?” He sputtered. “Short… angry BLUE thing?” He shook his head amazed.
“You might have at least said ‘Zed’ since our ‘Host’ here called me that. “But the ‘short angry blue thing’ who hasn’t been particularly ‘angry’, has a name… It’s Zac, and we can speak more formally after.”
He offered a perhaps slightly forced smile, a little too wide but it had SOME amusement behind if for one reason or another.
“If we can get through the round without someone dying of beer inhalation I think we’ll be doing alright though.”

Gabriel wondered if there was a way to convey with facial expressions alone how badly he suspected Laine had just ******** up. Instead, he left the remainder of his first beer to her and very quickly walked over to get a second one because he could tell he was going to need it. "Thank you so much for your impassioned defense, Laine, try not to die over there."
"Sorry." Laine groaned as she dropped her head into her hand. "It was the first thing that popped into my head. I apologize." Ugh. She dun ******** up big time. The white haired girl sighed and nodded. "Sure." Talking... could be a good thing? At least she'd know someone else. Laine shot a sideways glare over to Gabriel. "Hope you choke on it, ********..."
