"As I was saying when I woke up we were outside the of the pit. David and Jishaku were confronting each other. It turns out that David is also a Jinchuriki. So my guess is Jishaku wanted to test of the demon's ability. At first we didn't want to fight, but we didn't have much of a choice. Jishaku was wearing our village forehead protector, so my guess is he wanted to start a war between our two villages. But I made the call to fight even though our orders were not to. Yamatano made the first move with the snake and I shortly followed. Yamatano seemed to have some sort of hidden blades on his arms. I guess for assassination purposes. But I tried to launch Jishaku towards Yamatano to finish the fight quickly but he countered me and dodged. For most of the fight he made us look like a couple of rookies fighting elites. He was prepared for everything. When I finally landed a punch on him it turned out it was a Shadow clone. The real Jishaku showed up shortly after." Kensei shook his head when he mentioned the shadow clone. "Once again Jishaku made us look useless. The fight was mostly between him and David. There were mostly using sand jutsu. I'm starting to wish I tried to copy some so I could have helped more. Eventually another shinobi named Shinji from Iwagakure showed up to assist in the fight. He had some sort of bloodline that allowed him to have damn there unlimited chakra. Sora also jumped in to assist. Laxus...I honestly have no idea what he was doing, he was just standing there." Kensei looked at Laxus with disappointment before continued. Things got out of hand with Jishaku injury Yamatano and Shinji going beserk. Luckily David asked us to leave the fight. That's mostly it ma'am, Jishaku was captured and everything was fine. The village is still messed up, but everything is fine. I'm willing to go back there and assist with repairs. It may put us on better terms with them." Kensei suggested. There was a good chance the idea would be shut down but it was worth a shot.

Raikage Natsumi Rei --------------------------------
((Sorry for making you do all this writing about fight which dragged on enough as it is. Metagaming is not something I am a fan of though, and the Kage and Nagisa need to know the details.))
"We will have to recollect Jishaku before he can tell Suna anything dangerous, but we have other matters to deal with as well such as the Shimo treaty. The latter pert of your report was better. In the future though I dont need a play by play, just the outcome and any important details like abilities and names." Several interesting facts had risen from the final portion of his report. David the Kazekage was David Greyson the Ichibi's jailer. Shinji the Iwa refugee was a chakra berserker, possibly Konoga? The Kiri-nin, Yamatano wore hidden blades and summoned snakes and is probably at least Chuunin assuming he was unaccompanied. She would have to check the files later on all the foreign shinobi. She may even be able to update them.
"I have a few follow up questions. Was the Kiri nin, Yamatano, traveling with anyone? and what of Jishaku, what did you see of his powers?" The file on the rogue nin was outdated, the man who left Konoha was not powerful enough to fight a jinchuuriki, much less the visiting shinobi who aided him. Another question popped in her brain. "here were all the Suna nin? There was one Kiri nin and three Kumo nin. There was also one Iwa survivor, probably seeking a new home. However not one Suna nin other than David Greyson of the Ichibi. Were they disloyal? Afraid? Or just leaving the fun to the demon of the sand? The younger nin probably wouldnt join the fray, but what of the Jounin and gaurds? She doubted anyone in the room could give a solid answer, but this was just one more reason Suna was not a threat. The distance between the wind and lightning countries was great, and Konoha would not enjoy being the buffer. It had sustained massive damage, if the initial attack which destroyed the tower wasnt enough the battle afterwards would garuntee serious damage. Jinchuuriki were known for their collateral damage, the Ichibi even more so. For whatever reason their shinobi force was not nearly as responsive as would be expected of them, to the point of leaving an intruder to battle the Kage. There were also the diplomatic details as well, such as Kumos assistance. A war was unlikely, and if David had any functioning brain-cells he would hand over his prisoner without a fight.

(naw it's cool. I need to get better at posting anyway)
Kensei thought back about when he met Yamatano and Jishaku's abilities. "Yamatano was alone. As a matter of fact he showed up around the same time we did. As for Jishaku he used Raiton, Sunaton, and Magnetism. The Suna shinobi were just watching. Well the Anbu anyway I'm not sure about the others. Maybe assisting with the injured in the village? It was hectic." Kensei answered.

"Alright, unless you have anything to add you may go. There are matters to attend to but i think you all have earned the afternoon to yourselves. I'll send for you if I need anything else."

Kensei bowed before walking outside. "I guess I'll go train then." Kensei Walked outside the office with a satisfied look on his face. The meeting could have gone worse and his team could have been severely punished for disobeying orders, but the Raikage didn't seem to mind. He walked into the lobby and saw the genin from earlier staring at an Anbu black op. Kensei shrugged it off and rudely walked between the two and outside the building. He checked his wallet to see how much money he had left. "I guess I could buy a flak jacket and some scrolls." he said before smelling himself and looking at his clothes. "First a bath and a change of clothes." Kensei ran off towards his house to try and relax.

Sora bowed and politely left after Kensei. The moment she was out of the sight of the Raikage, she gave herself a good, jittery shake. "Mrnyuu, it was tough staying still for so long," the girl muttered to herself as she began skipping to her next destination.
" If it pleases you, I'm unsure as to what the regular punishment is for insubordination, but I believe it should be doubled. I also don't believe in putting things off, so immediately, and with utmost prejudice. I broke code, and behaved in a manner I can only assume is against regulations for this village. " Laxus said, taking this moment to look directly at the Raikage. " If there is no definite punishment, then could I recommend having me shadow another shinobi in order to learn proper etiquette. Possibly even having required times when I'd have to report to you in order to prove I've learned something about political discourse and how to behave in a political atmosphere as well as a regular shinobi. " Laxus finished as he re-positioned his body, readjusting his feet and hands to be more comfortable.
Arriving at the Raikage Tower, Shizuna noticed that the place was just as busy and as secure as it was when she dropped by in the afternoon. 'This is truly a place that never seems to sleep...' Sticking close to the side, Shizuna was able to make her way to the mission desk with minimal contact with other personals moving about the building. Silently joining the end of the queuing line, Shizuna was happy to see it was a decent length. 'Good, I won't be here long then.' Pulling out the two signed mission scrolls, Shizuna suddenly recalled the need for a mission summery and tilting her head to the left to pear down the line, estimated approximately seven minutes. 'Two minutes too much.'
Scrolls tucked securely away again, Shizuna slipped her right arm under the strap of her sketchpad so that it now rested around her neck instead of just her left shoulder. Lifting it up, Shizuna swiftly flipped through the pages until she landed upon a blank sheet. Slipping out her pencil, Shizuna would expertly and nimbly fill the blank sheet with what she deemed as a decent mission report for the first mission before flipping the page to repeat her actions. She made sure to mention Kaeru's disappearance at the end of his mission as well as his small habit of using citizens as training via pick-pocketing. Hasaki's performance and reaction to Kaeru's pick-pocketing was something to make note of as well but that was something more fitted for ninja profiles rather than mission notes. 'I'll keep Kaeru's thievery on there though as that was how he was pulled into a mission I originally had set aside for Hasaki...seems I do have something to say about him as well. He left after that incident saying he rather train alone. Then again, I was somewhat rash in signing out a fair amount of missions for us thinking he'll see them through. Both of us can be faulted for that than...'
Mission: Store Helper Mission Rank: E-rank Mission Report: As per the mission request, I, Miyake Shizuna, jounin, took with me Ryouken Hasaki, genin, to assist the ...candy store during their busy hours. I was put to work in the back to help with the owner's wife and kids for either baking goods, packaging, or restocking. As to Ryouken-san, he was made to work the counter assisting guests with their purchases. As far as I am aware no complications appeared during his time working the cashier. No complaint was placed either by the store owner whom was working next to him. I spent my time working with the owner's daughter in packaging the goods that the wife and son would leave at our packaging station once the products were done baking. From time to time, I would bring out to the store front baskets of packaged goods to refill the selves that were quickly derived of said goods. Once the empty/near-empty baskets were replaced with a new one, I take the baskets back to the back to be refilled. No complications on my end either. Our mission ended successfully when the rush-hour for the shop ended. Ryouken-san would later walk off from any further missions after a small incident shortly after the mission's completion. Comments: Mission was simple and no real difficulty arose when performing it. Will note of a small attempted theft that followed after the mission involving Ryouken-san, another genin, Shindō Kaeru, and myself. More will be said in a report covering said incident.
-Miyake Shizuna
An silent sigh would escape Shizuna's parted lips than but noticing the shift in movement, knew that she should stop thinking too much and simply wrap up her summery. 'I'll just say I'll submit a formal statement about that incident in the village center later. Its fair and I should be able to get away with it as long as I hand it in by tomorrow.' Yes, Shizuna was dedicated to her shinobi work as much as she was to her art but when it came to details Shizuna has always been picky about it. Unfortunately, that always meant more paperwork for her. Like how she was merely going to include simple notes about the genin she had with her on the missions, she was not inclined to write a full statement about Kaeru's attempt to steal from her and Hasaki's attempt to stop him at the village center. Just was putting simple notes about the genin would mean extra paperwork so that such things would be duly noted on their profiles. It was just so much extra work and unlike art, Shizuna did not find much pleasure going into such detail and writing so much formal documents but her personality forbid her from doing such things half-heatedly. Her way around it, cheat a bit but pushing it off till later. No later than a day was her motto and Shizuna will be sure to have something written up once she had her quiet art time and a restful sleep. 'For now though, I should simply finish this report so I can get paid, by new art equipment, and than head home for some alone time with art...'
Mission: Mail Delivery Mission Rank: E-rank Mission Report: As per the mission request, I, Miyake Shizuna, jounin, took with me Shindō Kaeru, genin, to assist with the overflow of mail at the postal station. Originally signed out for myself and Ryouken, Hasaki, but said genin had departed for some self training and Shindō-san was made his replacement in light of his participation in a certain incident (details will be written in a full incident report). We both entered the postal station which was bustling with people and after checking-in with the owner, I received two bags of mail to have delivered. Shindō-san was tasked with delivering mail to the Raikage Tower and to also assist with delivering any additional items requested by those at the tower. He was to be trailed by my water clone which has unfortunately disappeared by the end of the mission. Shindō-san did report to the postal office for completion of his mission but I myself had not seen him since we split up to deliver the mail to our respective location.
My mail was to go to the Kumogakure Library and upon delivery was tasked with taking two scrolls to the Kumogakure Apartments and three scrolls back to the postal office. I left the library in the direction of the apartments where I left the two scrolls with the receptionist who also provided me with two boxed packages to bring to the mail station as well. All mail request was brought back to the postal station where they were checked and accounted for. It would be the store owner as he signed off the mission scroll whom made note to me of Shindō-san's return and departure. Mission was completed with no difficulty in travel, delivery, and receiving. No attempts of theft or any attacks were made when I moved around town for the mission. Comments: A request for a profile note to be made on one Shindō Kaeru as he has a habit of using villagers as training tools via pick-pocketing. Also, his failure to report back to his direct mission superior, myself, is something that should be attended to.
-Miyake Shizuna
Finishing off the second report with her full signature, Shizuna tucked the pencil neatly away before ripping both report sheets from her sketchpad. Taking one mission scroll out at a time, Shizuna would attach the appropriate report with the matching mission scroll. Not even a second after she finished rolling back up the second up did Shizuna hear the person behind the desk call out 'next'. Smiling, Shizuna would make her way over and hand over her scrolls. The procedure was quick and familiar to Shizuna and in less than a minute, Shizuna was prompted to leave with her mission payment in hand. As she walked off, Shizuna would slip the coins into her purse mentally calculating how much she of that she would actually have left after her stop by the art and ninja store. Not only was she low on art supplies but her ninja gear had been out to date for awhile now. Something that was beyond irresponsible for a ninja of her rank. 'As much as I want to blame it on the lock-down, it's also partly due to me being lazy and more absorbed in my sketches. Best to amend that before something really happens and I lack the proper equipment...' With that last thought in mind, Shizuna made her way out of the Raikage tower and towards the village center once more.

The Raikage frowned at the boy, nat that he would see it as once again he told her how to punish him. Having him shadow a well disciplined shinobi would inded be a good idea, but she feared it would be unlikely to find such a ninja who was not already occupied. Kumo nin were not as accustomed to formality as they should be. Still, it was nice the boy showed some intention of improving himself. "You forget your place once more. You do not get to tell me when to punish you nor how. Because you have so much to say I would like you to write up a proper report on the mission, how the team behaved, what you thought of your teammates and the like. You will also do well to learn formality on your own, you do not speak out against or for your leader, especially not in front of others. Instead you bring it up later if you feel it is so important. As you stand you are the embodiment of all Kumogakure's great failures. You are to become the example of formality, I will send disobedient nin to learn manners from you." She paused. It was a curious punishment, but it could be a great one. If she could sculpt this troublemaker she could prove her leadership skills and gain the title of Raikage for real. This flawed, troubled boy, if he chose, would become her first true subordinate. "Next time you enter the office you better not step out of line or you can kiss your shinobi career goodbye. I will not tolerate fools." She waved her hand, dismissing the boy. It was likely he would hate her, but if he learned his place that wouldnt matter. The true Raikage would need an assistant if she were to dethrone Nagisa, head of the Aburame. Spiders do not submit to bugs, especially not in Kumo (Kumo can mean cloud or spider). She turned on the intercom and summoned the next guest. Shikaku, another Genin who had yet to learn his place and a resident of the orphanage which never did turn out proper shinobi. He had already tainted the shinobi title through a dine and dash, upsetting many wealthy families in the uproar.

The receptionist called out for the next victim. "Shikaku Genin, the Kage will see you now. When you get to her door be sure you knock and wait to be invited, shes a bit of a grump."

As one of the boy's Shikaku had seen earlier passed between him and the ANBU, the boy took the opportunity, while he couldn't be seen clearly to blink. He'd successfully kept his eyes wide and unblinking for quite awhile since he'd sat, but they were actually starting to rather hurt, and he'd been considering attempting a partial henge to make them appear open. It seemed a bit too much for a silly game though. As soon as the boy had passed fully, Shikaku jumped up from his seat, pointing at the ANBU, eyes wide and angry. "You blinked! Don't try to deny it!" he yelled, making sure to keep the volume down to where he wasn't being too obnoxious. He wasn't sure why he'd decided to do this. Acting crazy was probably not the best choice he'd made today. Maybe his habit of picking up on other people's unique traits had overreacted to the girl? Well, either way, he was having fun. The ANBU, despite all the training they must put into remaining emotionless and still when in public, had actually begun visibly looking uncomfortable after the boy's tenth minute of straight staring. Really, it was totally worth the stinging in his eyes, and even any later repercussions. So, that in mind, he settled into an unblinking glare as the ANBU refused to respond to his claim of the man cheating in his one sided, and quite impossible, contest.
It was only about a minute later though, that the receptionist called his name, and he instantly snapped himself back to normal, turning and walking over to hear what she had to say. The boy nodded and chuckled a bit as she finished, describing the kage as a grump. "Thank you, I'll keep that in mind." he spoke up, smiling happily at the woman. It could never hurt to get her on his side, especially after her near instant assumptions of him earlier. Turning then, with a wave to the lady, he made his way to the stairs and found his way to the Raikage's office. Not that hard really, it was the only door flanked by two ANBU, and with what looked like another in the shadows on the other side of the wall, though that one could have been his imagination.
Reaching up his hand, the boy gulped, suddenly realizing he was nervous about this. He had, after all, been ordered to this meeting immediately after the jounin from earlier called him out on his outing with Timmy. But, no, if he was being kicked out of the forces, they wouldn't have sent him on a mission. That he succeeded had to count for something, right? Swallowing his worries, quite literally, the boy brought his hand down, knocking twice on the door. He would have to wait and see, and hope for the best.
And if it turned out for the worst, figure out how to murder Timmy in his sleep.
" As you wish ma'am. " Laxus said with a quick bow, his natural accent peeking it's head out giving the last word of his sentence a country accent. Laxus turned quickly, by placing one foot behind his other and off to the side, spinning and walking briskly out the door. " Ah, hello there. " Laxus said looking down at Shikaku as he opened the door to see him standing there. Laxus gave an ever so slight bow and then side stepped past the boy, and down the stairs.
The questions the Raikage had obviously meant her questions which he answered as rhetorical. It was truly sad he'd made that slip up, but then again, Laxus felt that this Raikage was strong. Heck, it wouldn't be so bad to do as she said to the T, and then become her assistant for a short period. In the long run, it would benefit him, and as the Raikage's assistant, he could easily have a certain pull on some matters. This was going better than he could have imagined. " I should probably locate a paper source and some ink. " He said aloud as he walked into the reception area. He thought for a moment, thinking of how much money he had. " Definitely need to do a mission, just a little quick one, since it will be difficult otherwise. " He muttered as he left the tower. { EXIT }

Shikaku stepped back in surprise as the door swung open all of a sudden, and a ridiculously tall boy walked out in front of him and stared at him for a second, said hello, and walked away. The boy hurriedly stepped back again as the older boy moved, hoping to avoid being trampled. He was so surprised that he hadn't thought to answer, but the boy moved away before he could have anyways. Blinking the surprise away, Shikaku looked back to the door again, and blinked in surprise. The other boy had left the door wide open, and he could see all the way into the room, to the Raikage sitting behind her desk. Looking at the ANBU, and then back to the Raikage again, who may or may not have been staring at him (He couldn't tell due to the veil.), he gulped slightly again. This was not how he expected the meeting to go.
"Um... He started, not sure if he should even speak. "Should I come in, or close the door and wait?" He certainly didn't want to just walk in without permission, even if the door was wide open, and just standing outside an open door and watching the Kage would not only be rude, but slightly terrifying in his current state of mind.
Raikage Natsumi Rei --------------------------------
(I was hoping you would word it differently so she could get mad at you for being "a smart a**". Shame, that would have been fun) He was a curious boy, the raikage watched him as he got surprised twice within a matter of seconds. Once at Laxus, who nearly opened a door on his face, and a second time at... the office, or her? he gulped nervously before asking what to do, and frankly it took the young woman by surprise. Very few genin would bother to ask, they would probably just step in. Either the boy had some basic understanding of decency or he was terrified of stepping out of line, neither was a particularly bad thing as she saw it. In order to determine which, she stared at him for several uncomfortable minutes before finally waving him in. "It's good to see you have some manners. Well, beyond your apparent disregard for the village laws and those wealthy enough to afford to employ us shinobi." She was of course referring to his recent crimes, which were not at all difficult to pin on him even with his henge. "I must admit, few can create a henge of that caliber, much less sustain it as long as you did. Although your payment will be docked until you can pay for that meal. I will not tolerate shinobi committing crimes in this village unless I am paying them to do so. Now, Why are you here?"

Shikaku Kumogakure | Spy | Genin Support | Speed
~
This had to be some form of revenge. That was all Shikaku could think as he shivered under the gaze of the Raikage. That ANBU from downstairs must have reported his stupid staring match somehow and now he was being punished for it. He was tempted, oh so very tempted, to just close the door, break the line of sight, but after asking and getting no reply, that would be a foolish act. So he stood, bracing himself as best he could and attempting to stare back, without making eye contact, or rather, contact with the eye area, since he couldn't see her eyes.
Finally though, the woman lifted her oppressive gaze, and an invisible weight from the boy's shoulders at the same time, waving him into the room. Only to slam the weight back down with her first words, talking about his and Timmy's... Lunch, for lack of a better word. For a moment he felt pride as she complimented his henge, but then came the clincher. His pay would be docked to pay for the meal? But, whether he had gone along with it or not, the meal was supposed to be Timmy's treat! He wanted to explain that, to cancel out the mess this had become. It was all Timmy's idea. Heck, even if Shikaku had had his suspicions he hadn't even known for sure that it was a dine and dash situation until Timmy, well, dashed.
And then, she asked what he was here for. Then it was his turn to speak. He wanted to explain, to correct the massive mistake, or at least get his rights to his pay back, but... That wasn't what she had asked for, and he'd be out of line to say it. Hopefully the meeting would turn in that direction so he could, but, if not, he could at least get some sort of revenge on Timmy for the mess he'd gotten him into. First day as a ninja and already he was facing expulsion, because of the man's stinking congratulatory dinner!
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, focus himself on the task at hand, Shikaku bowed for a moment, as he realized he should have when entering the room. It would be pointless to introduce himself. She obviously knew who he was already. So, straight to the point. Well... It wasn't actually much of a point, really. "I was ordered to report to the Raikage on completion of my mission. The mission is complete, so here I am." the boy spoke respectfully, hoping, above all else now, that this hadn't all been some elaborate trick by that jounin. She had told him to report in, had told him to take the mission in the first place, though she had been unable, or unwilling, to provide proof of it being an official mission... Well, he could only hope now that he hadn't been lied to, because he was standing in front of the most powerful person in the village, who literally held his future in the palm of her hand, and she already seemed to dislike him. He didn't count that as good odds.
((Right, since you are Kage I'm sure you know that there has to be some logic in the RP. This question simply seemed like one that needed to be answered in RP.) The Kage stared at Shikaku for another moment, noticing the discomfort it gave him before, before she spoke again. "Right, Nagisa sent me a note... She is concerned that you are not shinobi material. Your school marks show you have terrible chakra control, have no gift in hand to hand, ninjutsu or genjutsu. All you left the school with is what they call a remarkable gift for disguises, Henge and acting." The list of problems was long, but it was true his gifts could prove useful.
She pulled out his file and glanced at it as she listed off the other issues. "Also you are a criminal, you have been caught pickpocketing in the past, are known to associate with troublemakers and theives. Not to mention your recent fiasco, as well as the simple fact you were under Timmy's tutelage." She placed the folder on the desk and leaned back. "Frankly we need to know why you were allowed to graduate. With your history-" She clearly meant his life in the orphanage, but of course didnt say it aloud. "It is a wonder you got in the academy in the first place. So why should we invest our time, money and trust in you?" It was an open ended question, with so many reasons behind it, and so many wrong answers. The boy could prove useful, but if he didnt know where, or how then he was useless. He didn't have brawn, so he had better demonstrate some brains.
