Whisperblade with...Skywisker? I wondered, immediately growing suspicious. They do spend a lot of time in the nursery together...especially since I'm picking up deputy duties again. I wonder if-
I immediately stopped myself, guilt and horror prickling at my fur.
Are you INSANE? Whisperblade, cheat on you? Only you'd fall that low! a voice hissed at me.
The words stung me as if Whisperblade had said it himself.
These series of thoughts happened within a matter of seconds, and I quickly regained composure after a series of dark expressions followed suit. I knew Skywisker had most likely seen them, but I didn't want her to feel insulted so I quickly changed the subject by answering her question.]
"The patrol was peaceful," I said briskly, seemingly unperturbed. "Dawnsky was more than wonderful. She's grown into a great warrior and StormClan is lucky to have her."
I purred politely as I settled down and asked in return, "And how were my kittens? I hope they didn't cause too much trouble."

[I tossed Whisperblade a smile.] "Kits" [I meowed. Turning my head to Brisk-kit at his question, I meowed] "Daddy is leading a hunting patrol" [I sighed contentedly at the thought of a hunt. How I longed to race through the forest, feeling the grass under my paws and the wind in my fur, through the tree's of course. The satisfaction of a good hunt. All these things, I longed for. I would get them again, of course, I wasn't going to be in the nursery forever. I just missed them. I shook my head and looked at Thunderflight as she answered my question. I tilted my head slightly at the look that had crossed her face, but I didn't press on. Not here anyway. It seemed like it was the kind of thing to talk about in private anyway. I nodded at the mention of a peaceful patrol" "That's good" [I meowed softly, glowing with pride at her compliments about my sister. Good. That meant I had done a good job in teaching her things that mother would have taught her, had she lived.] "You're kittens were lovely. Pretty quiet for the most part." [I purred] I'm surprised Neonkit's calling didn't startle them though [I added slowly, stretching my front legs out and opening my jaws wide in a yawn before settling back into my comfortable position.] Wonder when Burrpelt's going to come back [I thought to myself briefly] ((Out Of Cats: ))☆*´¨`*☆☆*´¨`*☆☆*´¨`*☆Sweet / Caring / Swift / Gentle / Kind / Terrific Hunter / Strong / Understanding / Friendly / Determined████████████████ █████████████████

  [Neonkit nodded happily at her mother. Good. She still loved her daddy. That was important. She didn't want to lose her mom or dad. The young kit turned her head to Whisperblade as Skywisker spoke about him being the father of their nursery mates.] [Neonkit blinked in surprise at Brisk-kit. Why did he have to be so mean sometimes? She squeaked as he pushed her down. She did sit up, eventually, just staring. She was surprised.] [Neonkit nodded absently at Halokit's words of comfort, still in shock. Had her brother called her blind?] That means that I can't see... Right? [The young kit nodded as if to answer her own question. That sounded right. A small growl bubbled out of her tiny throat as she charged at Brisk-kit, pouncing on him] "I'M NOT BLIND!" [She hissed to him.]

*poof! A ninja appears!*Whisperblade Loving thunder clawed from my life by the rivers of fate
could it be that this search will last unbounded eternity on tainted slate?
Twins are dangerous, tricky things, and when a second thunder rings too late

[The dark tom tilted his head slightly at Neonkit's concerned mew. Did the kit really worry that the to of them were cheating? He couldn't help but smile at Briskkit's bold apology. He nodded his head to the small kit, a kind look on his face. It relived him how the young kitten had no doubt of his mother whatsoever.]
"Do not worry little one, there is no need for an apology. Your mother is a good friend of Thunderflight and I, besides, she loves your father far to much."
[He looked down at his own kits who were nuzzled against his side for warmth, resting peacefully as he watched over them.]
"And I love Thunderflight far too much as well, these kittens are living proof of that."
[Just then a familiar shadow blocked the nursery entrance. He looked up and smiled lovingly to see that his mate, Thunderflight, had returned.] "Good evening Thunderflight. I assume the patrol went well? The kittens are just fine, no trouble at all. They were as well behaved as little Starclan kits." [Carefully Whisperblade rose to his feet, being extra careful not to disturb the sleeping kittens. He purred quietly as he greeted Thunderflight with a rub against her left flank.]

 Silverstar [ Silverstar squeezed her way through the nursery entrance, her fur getting caught on a bramble or two. In a few moments, her emerald eyes adjusted to the dimmer light, early morning light filtering through the branches. Silverstar dropped her fresh-kill and glanced about the nursery, her eyes taking in the sights of Thunderflight's litter and Skywhisker's litter. Such beautiful kittens. ]
A purr rose from Silverstar's throat, warm and thick. It was truly a blessing from StarClan to have so many strong and healthy kits. "Good morning, my dears," Silverstar chuckled as a smaller kit pounced on her tail, its eyes flashing mischeviously.
[ Silverstar padded further into the nursery and grabbed a moss ball in her jaws, her eyes returning the kit's mischevious glance. She rolled it toward the kit, her green eyes warm and her tail flicking in content. She watched as the kit pounced on it and flailed it's limbs as the ball threw it off balance. Silverstar's lips curved into a smile and she couldn't help but chuckle. She glanced at all the other kits, curled up by their mothers. At least, some were. Some were waking up and eager to join into the game. ]

[Halokit looked up from her spot beside her sister when she noticed a new, different scent (Silverstar) enter the nursery. Who was this new smell? The young she-kit got up onto her paws and turned to where she thought the scent was coming from. Taking a few hesitant steps forward, she noticed something. That scent. It wasn't getting closer. It was getting farther and farther away. So, she quickly stopped, causing herself to stumble a bit, and turned around. Giving her head a shake, she focused on the scent and moved towards it. Halokit looked up as the scent made a noise. It was a pretty purr. It wasn't like her momma's, but it was still nice. The young she-kit plopped down on her rump and turned her vibrant blue eyes towards this scent.] "Hi... Halokit... [She meowed shyly, introducing herself.] "Who're ya?" [The young kit asked, blinking her sightless eyes.]

Silverstar [ Silverstar blinked down at the kit, noticing the cloudiness of her blue eyes. So she was blind. Silverstar bent her head down and touched the kit's ear softly with her nose, her green eyes warm and matronly. She had always wanted kits, but her Clan had always come first. She was thrust into a leader's position at a young age, before she had found a mate. But then he turned up. Icefire, a sleek and striking blue-gray tom with haunting blue eyes. His eyes still haunted Silverstar's dreams, a comforting presence in her darkest hours. Sighin softly to clear her thoughts, Silverstar gently stroked the kit's shoulder with her wispy silver tail. ]
"It's wonderful to meet you, Halokit," Silverstar replied, her voice warm and husky. "And my name is Silverstar, little one," the StormClan leader continued as she heard a bit more rustling behind her.
[ Silverstar glanced over her shoulder, only to see the kit rolling around with the moss ball rolling blindly toward the bramble wall. Silverstar sprung towards the kit, slamming her paw down to prevent the kit from falling into the brambles. Silverstar sighed and looked down upon the kit, a bemused look on her face. She gently picked the kit up, looking into it's wide eyes, and returned to where she was speaking to Halokit. She set the kit down next to Halokit, her green eyes stern. ]
"Now, o mishevious one, don't go hurting yourself and scaring your mother out of her wits," Silverstar scolded gently, though her voice was amused.

As Whisperblade greeted me, I felt my heart melt once more. What am I thinking? I sighed to myself dreamily. There's no way I could not choose this cat over Hawkblaze.
It was the principle of it- who the younger me would have chosen. But that past was long since buried. I was living in the present, with Whisperblade nonetheless. It was what was meant to be.]
"The patrol was eventless," I told him cheerfully, licking his cheek in affection. "All is peaceful on the StormClan borders. It feels nice. Even a bit eery, after the torment we went through during the Slayers..."
[My eyes darkened, but I shrugged it off, shaking my head.]
"I'm just grateful for this peace," I murmured, settling down next to my kittens. "Thank you for watching them Whisperblade. I'll take the next shift...hehe."
[I purred as my kittens snuggled against me, feeling my heart warm. As Silverstar entered, I let out a meow of greeting, my eyes lighting up at my old mentor and, essentially, foster-mother.]
"Greetings, Silverstar!" I meowed. "How have you been today?"

[Halokit squeaked when she felt a nose touch her ear. That tickled! After shaking her head, she pointed her face back to where she assumed the nose had moved back to. Though, the tail, that felt nice. ] Soft [She thought to herself for a moment before taking herself out of her mind before she got lost. Halokit tilted her head curiously as she heard a sigh, was the scent okay? Thinking for a few heartbeats, she made up her mind to ask and make sure this scent was okay.]
[The young she-kit beamed up at the scent, her vibrant blue eyes sparkling with glee. It was nice to meet her!]
[Oh, so that was who it was.] "Hiya Siverstar" [Halokit squeaked happily, pausing when she heard Silverstar move away.] She's gonna come back.... right? [She wondered as she listened to the sound of Silverstar moving around.]
[The young she-kit turned her head to blink happily to the kit that was place beside her, and then turned back to Silverstar] "You okay... right?" [Halokit asked, remembering her earlier decision.]

She was a good deputy and a great friend to cats, it was troublesome seeing her face with those emotions. I flipped back onto my stomach and decided to not press the matter. If she wanted to talk about it, then she would. If not, that was alright. Besides, she had brightened up fairly quickly. So maybe she just missed her kits. I opened my jaws in a wide yawn. It wasn't that I was tired or anything, just bored. Sitting around in the nursery all the time got to be quite tiresome. I had needed to get out and stretch my legs for some time now, but every time the thought crossed my mind, Neonkit was sleeping, and I didn't want to risk frightening her again, but now, now they were awake. So, standing up, I nosed my kits to their paws.] "Alright. Brisk-kit, Neonkit and Halokit. We're going to go out into the camp for a little while so mommy can stretch her legs." [I informed them softly as I gently began to herd the three little bundles out of the nursery.] "You three had better be good little kittens out there. If you can't do that. Then you'll be back in the nursery before you can say, mouse" [I meowed and led my stumbling kits out of the nursery and into the camp.] ((Out Of Cats: I've decided to have her take her kits out into the camp for the first time.

XX▄▄ The final fight I'll win[Larka rushed into the nursery, her pelt soaked and her body freezing. The nursery already seemed to be flooded, which meant time was growing short. The kits had to get to higher ground now. Her blue eyes scanned the nursery and she spotted two queens. [Brightspirit and Skywhisker] She tried to remember if she'd ever heard their names before but was unable to come up with any. Shaking her head, knowing this wasn't the time to worry about such things, she turned her attention to the two queens.]
"Alright, my name's Larka, I'm a prisoner as I'm sure you've heard but that's not important. The camp is beginning to flood and we need to get you and your kits out of here and to higher ground now. We need to move quickly seeing as we don't have much time. Each of you take your own litter and go!" she mewed firmly, really hoping niether queen would argue with her. At the moment, she wouldn't be able to handle any objections.
"Mama? What's going on? Who's she?" Everkit asked as she stirred from her sleep.
[Larka glanced at the small she-kit before turning to the remaining kits. Where was their mother? Maybe she was with the rest of the clan at the gathering. This wasn't good. She glanced at either queen but shook her head. No time for extra questions. So, Larka reached down and grabbed the remaining kits [Thunderflight's litter: Tempestkit, Blizzardkit, Twisterkit, and Lightningkit] in her mouth. Hopefully their mother wouldn't claw her eyes out for touching her kits without permission. She held the kits tightly in her jaws and prepared herself to brave the strong rain once again. Looking once more at the two queens she had just spoken to, Larka bounded out of the nursery and into the storm, racing for high ground.]

I nodded absently as Larka rushed in, she seemed vaguely familiar. I carried my kits out of the nursery, pausing to rest my tail on Larka's shoulder. [Whisperblade rested peacefully next to his kittens. He would be in the nursery most of the day due to the gathering, Thunderflight being deputy had to be present. As he was about to lay his head down to rest a strange cat suddenly rushed past him, startling him and making his fur puff up threateningly. His ears perked up and twitched as the few sentences the strange cat said. A shocked and confused look passed the tom's face. The mention of the cat being a prisoner brought back memories of his own trials of becoming a Stormclan warrior...]
A prisoner? Is this cat a rouge caught on Stormclan territory or are they... like me? A flood.... A FLOOD?!
[Normally the sly tom would be weary of a trap, such was his training, but the chance of something happening to his kits was too grate a risk to take.]
"Skywhisker, we should take the kittens to Sun's peak. It is the highest ground in Stormclan. I will meet you there. "
[Like lightning he swooped down and grabbed Blizzardkit, and Twisterkit. He attempted to Pick up the other Stormkit and Tempastkit but his mouth was full, grumbling he lifted them onto his back and secured them under his scarf to help hold them still. Checking over his shoulder to be sure that none of the queens needed his assistance with their kits he left the den, looking for a safe place to hid Thunderflight and his precious kittens.

[Briskkit padded around the perimeter of the nursery, mumbling to himself in anger. Amberpaw watched as he did so, her eyes following his every motion. She found herself amused by his anger, as she was giggling at the tom kit.]"I feel trapped! And.. And held back from the world! Mother does not let me out so much.. Is she questioning my abilities? I can fend for myself, if she has not realized. I am a grown kit! Basically a warrior in a small body! But one day, one day.. I shall be bigger then the rest."[He muttered to himself, constantly rolling his eyes and cursing to himself. Amberpaw's amber eyes followed the kit. She giggled to herself. Briskkit shot her a dark looking glare, then turned back around.]"Briskkit, why you so serious? Your like, two days old."[The apprentice said, rolling around. Briskit snorted, and padded over to Amberpaw, sitting down and resting his chin on his paws.]"Does it matter? Is it any of your business? No. It is not. So do not barge into my discussions with myself. And for once in your life, would you PLEASE be serious about something? Instead of acting like a foolish kit, rolling around in the nursery when you should be training."[He said, rolling his eyes and getting up again. Amberpaw frowned, and sighed.]"I'm.. I'm serious about loving you, Briskkit. If that counts in your head.."[She said softly, exiting the nursery. Before leaving completely, she turned back around. A sad expression on her face.]"I'll train, if you want me to."[And with a sigh, she left. Briskkit was left stunned for a moment, but shook it off. She was serious about.. Loving him? Well, mother had more questions to answer. The kit turned back around, and began mumbling to himself. Amberpaw's words remained n his head, and they could not be removed.]

A silent shadow stretched across the den floor, blocking the light from entering temporarily as Whisperblade silently slipped in, carrying a muddy squirrel and a bird in his mouth. Gently he placed the squirrel in front of his kits and the bird next to any other kit who looked at him with couriuse eyes, wanting to get feed as well. Because he would visit every day, he would keep an eye out for other kits so as to give their mother's a bit of free time to themselves. Starclan, knew they needed it.
The dark warrior sat silently, smiling lovingly at his kittens as they hungrily nibbled at the gift he had received from Wilypaw. His smile slowly faded however as he watched them in silence. Hardly anything ever bothered the calm and collected warrior, and even when it did he would never let it show from behind his kind smile, but that was only because his faults effected him and only him. Now the looks that would follow him wearily he could see being cast upon his mate and kits too, and it did in fact bother him.
Will their life and future victories be belittled due to their non stormclan pure birth? Will Thunderflight be able to overcome the ill words that spread around the clan? Was I selfish to come here?
Whisperblade's gaze shifted from his kits to his paws. His life in Nightclan was not the best, and he had been left behind once it was rumored he had died, not to mention most of the warriors there hardly recognized him, but here in Stormlcan he had never been happier, but was his happiness really worth that of Thunderflight's reputation and his kit's? Often he thought not, but what killed him the most was now there was nothing he could do about it. He couldn't just leave, nor could he have chosen to be born here.
Standing up he turned away, not wanting to spread his worries to his kits. He smiled at them and licked each of them atop their heads.
"I love you very much.~"
