Walking through the streets on the way to the Bar and grill had certainly been interesting. Normally, people simply nodded and allowed Kye by with a look of respect on their face as they cleared a path. However, with Shadow following close behind, the people's movements were much quicker and slightly more panicked to clear the path for Kye as his presence was quite foreboding. Of course, it was not atypical for Kye to be escorted by a guard out of the village... the majority of the people would have expected a dignitary, even of her standing to require guards when traveling. Shadow however was a mysterious figure to them and looked rather menacing, a sentiment that Kye hoped any potential bandits might feel as well on their journey.

Arriving at the Bar and Grill, Kye approached a back entrance to the building, wrapping on the door lightly before an employee opened it up, only to bow in respect to Kye before offering her assistance. "Elise, what a pleasure to see you, how can I be of assistance." Bowing politely in return, Kye responded quickly... "Yasa and I have business to attend to. If you would let him know I was ready to leave, that would be wonderful." As soon as the girl was off to deliver the message, Kye turned to observe the village as several small children had crept around the corner, fearlessly hoping to get a view of the mysterious shadow figure.

To their surprise however, only Kye would be visible as she waved to them with a smile... her Shadow clone having crept up to the side of the building, hiding himself in the shadows until needed for the trip. Yasa would of course see the clone when he arrived, but Kye didn't wish to expose her guard for longer then necessary. Now, it was just a matter of time until they would be off to Suna.

The waitress, unable to locate Yasa after a good five minutes of searching, went instead to Brutus, who was tending the bar and asked him where she could find the man. Brutus, for his part, seemed to completely ignore her for a moment, as he began simply disassembling a pyramid of glasses on the counter and putting them away. As he finished putting away the last glass, the waitress, frustrated by now, tugged on his sleeve, repeating the question. Again Brutus said nothing, this time lifting his free hand above his head, and slamming his fist down on the counter, sending a loud crashing noise all through the bar, along with a shock wave down into the ground, yet not even scratching the counter. At this, the waitress assumed he had become angry and fled, hurrying back to her duties, worried about Elise, but more scared of Brutus, despite the man having gone right back to stacking glasses as he wiped them clean.

Down below, the shock wave from Brutus slamming the counter echoed through Yasa's study, jerking the man in question awake from where he'd fallen asleep on his desk, sprawled across several books and scrolls, and his own notes. His studies over the night had proven mostly fruitless, at least in regards of what he'd been looking for. The theory was intact, and he'd found a good bit of what he'd need to make it work, but there were bits missing, and he just didn't have time left to find them.

Getting up from his desk, Yasashii tidied up his notes, pocketed his notebook itself, and headed out through the tunnel. Once more he placed his hand on a spot next to the blank wall and watched it recede into the side, and walked out into the basement, the door sliding shut behind him. Making his way upstairs and into the bar itself, the man snagged a slice of toast from a plate conveniently set on the corner of the bar, and looked to Brutus for an explanation for his rude awakening. Before he could even speak, the large man pointed his thumb at the back of the bar. "Back door." was all he said, to which Yasa nodded and headed for the back, still eating his toast.

Opening the back door, it was quickly apparent what he'd been awoken for as he spotted Kye, along with, oddly enough, Shin. He supposed Brutus had probably been putting the boy to work and turned instead to Kye. "Good morning Elise, eager to get going then?" he said with a smile, and slight yawn as he finished his toast. "I couldn't find that stuff I was looking for, unfortunately, but we should be fine without it. I've got my wagon loaded up with plenty of supplies, and trade goods."

Yasashii simply nodded to everything Kye had said, giving the aptly named "Shadow" a nod of recognition. "I'd like to think I could handle myself, but you're right. A bar fight is a bit different than a bandit attack." he responded as she began to walk. She would undoubtedly pick up on the hidden subtext, that his rendition of the personal guard wasn't ready yet and that he'd count on hers, but that he could still fight should the need arise.

Instead of following the woman directly as she left, Yasashii instead headed to a small stable in the yard and retrieved his horse, a beautiful black mare, and led her to where he'd parked the wagon. A mere two minutes later the wagon was hitched up and rolling away with Yasashii on board. Waving back to Shin as he left, Yasa called out "Don't be too scared of Brutus, he's a teddy bear! I'll be back soon." With the horse already knowing quite well which direction to head out of the country, Yasashii settled into his seat and pulled his notebook from his pocket, flipping it open and beginning to read, making amendments here and there as he continued his studies from the night before. He knew he was getting close, he just needed a bit of time.
