Tyran Brandywine I dunno what Farscape is........ I know its like a show but I dont get it on my tv at all...... o.o I watch the star trek(seen ALL of them), reddwarf(hehehe), stargateSG1, x-files, TWILIGHT ZONE (woot!), outerlimits........... and old movies like War of the Worlds.....or Buckaroo Bonzai......or stuff about the PodPeople or Time Machines......and I love random junk like Earth Girls Are Easy......which I just might consider to be my favorite sci fi flick .....hehehehehe I want my own alien catboy.... xd Alien catboys? What? Where?

Wooo!!! Let us praise that which is B-movie Sci-fi!!! whee
Vincent Price movies are awesome! Hehehehe! He kinda fits into this genre...War of the Worlds is too much fun-PRINCESS MONONOKE!! Hmmm...I'm wondering now, perhaps that doesn't fit into the Sci-fi category...I was just remembering the comment about it, "It's the Star Wars of animated films."
I'm all about the first Star Wars films, but the new ones are undeniable crap. Lost in Space (the remake with Matt LaBlanc) scared me...if only because space makes me feel clostrophobic...that's a bit of an oxymoron isn't it?? xp

Hmmm.... I might do some Farscape edits sometime... (if I had a reason to do it... such as seeing some episodes or someone had a favorite character they wanted to see...) They're coming back with a mini-series, you know? heart
I loved the Lost in Space remake movie... in fact, I probably have the DVD. And true, the new Star Wars films are stinkers (Lucas sold out... he took the beauty of it and well... trashed it). Earth Girls Are Easy is one of my favorite b-flicks! I thought they were cuter as catboys, except Goldblum (who is Very good in Mr. Frost).
As a rule, I stay away from most scifi movies that come from novels, especially those by Crichton (ie: Terminal Man).
Princess Mononoke is more fanatasy than scifi... I have no idea why it would be considered the Star Wars of animated films. A good scifi animated flick would be either Metropolis or Tekkaman Blade II, by the way.
There's also an animated film that I cannot seem to find and I don't know it's name.... there's this group of women (I think they're all women in the species, actually) fighting with these evil aliens over the rights to the Earth's Moon... The Moon is turned into the lifeless rock we know and the Earth ends up populated by the descendants of the two species (My memory's hazy...). Sound familier to anyone?
Sorry for the rant... I'm a bit obsessed with movies and tend to go on... and on.

the closest thing i've been to sci-fi lately ish my replay of ff8. sweatdrop ..and i recently reread 'the witches of karres' (the greatest piece of science fiction literature ever to be written) ..mebbe i'll try one of the characters.. mebbe.. ninja
