Mercy's Self Portrait and Self-Fantasy Thread!
I feel as though I'm in a private country club or something to that effect when I come here! whee I thought I would set up a thread for all those edits floating out there that bare resemblance to their creaters! I also thought I would spice it up by adding another element to the brew-Personal Fantasies! We all have them, and most of us have more than one. wink This is where you can post what your avatar would look akin to in a perfect world! This is also the home of my bi-weekly contest which you can read about in random posts throughout these pages! xp
Be creative and exercise proper grammar-because your in my thread dagget! Hehehehe

RULES Okay are you ready for your restrictions now?? whee
1. You aren't allowed to break the rules of Gaia in other threads and in other guilds, this one is no different.
2. You can fantasize to your little heart's content, but keep your posts related and within clear boundaries of what you believe the morals of other people to be. That means I don't want you posting anything too offensive...[PG/PG-13] wink
3. Tell us about the edit you post. Trust me, we all get more out of the experience if we know it's backstory and it's purpose-This also means that if you hired someone to create your edit for you, you need to give the artist all credit and pay proper homage to said artist. wink
4. Do not blame the quality-or lack there of-of your edit on anything save yourself...This especially pertains to the uneducated who enjoy bashing MS Paint..I shan't allow it!!!

Sounds fun! I feel like rocking your boat. Okay, here's my self-portrait. I made it to look like I look when I'm at work. I work in the kitchen of a recently founded residential home. It's a lot of fun, lots of hard work, but the nurses help make it fun... xd Note the dirt on my apron. By the end of my shift, it's generally covered with everything I've encountered on my shift. xd I also mop the floors... hence the mop!

Very nice Sir Vorty, thanks for starting us off! whee Here's mine:

I didn't make it as detailed as I could have, but I do intend to improve and embelish upon it. I'm sporting my Jack and Sally shirt from Nightmare Before Christmas, and my "Nemo" socks. (I call them "Nemo" because they have bright orange gold fish on them wink ) The pants...are based off pants that I own, but they gave me far too much trouble to want to detail them further-I'm such a pansy sometimes. xp I should just stick with my avatar and not put pants on! Far too much trouble sometimes..*Sigh* They do give me an excuse to wear a belt though... xd

Okie here's a close approximization of myself. Its summer and quite warm where I am so I'm usually either barefoot or in my comfy sandals.... it is my way.... the way of the laidback Californian. The jean capri pants and tank reflect this also... And alot of my tanks have lil logos of things on them like frogs or the symbol for Pisces or what have you..... my actual green one of that color has a froggie on it but I couldnt draw one so small...... so a yin yang symbol instead is good enough hopefully...... -o.o-

I need to make a chibi me gaia style. My work clothing wouldn't be very interesting to do since I'm a lifeguard. My regular clothing is pretty boring as well...
hmmm - maybe I'll do me all dressed up for a night on the town. wink

I finally got around to this one: Animated: Well.. this is an "in a perfect world I would look like..." thread, is it not? Inspired mainly by playing Soul Caliber II, I wanted to know what the perfect female fighter would look like - that is, in complement to myself. If the world was full of actual fighters and STKMisu was one of them, this is how she would look. Heck, everyone loves a fighting jester, yes? ninja Basically, take off the hat, put on some jeans and an old t-shirt (or a business suit) and you have the "normal" STKMisu.

This is the real Sekkei now, after I got my hair cut (A whopping 13 inches! It was down to my waist.. I donated it to Locks of Love. 3nodding ) The shirt is actually a shirt I own (and I am wearing as I type this xd ) that I got at the Star Wars ride in MGM Studios down in florida. The actually shirt says "Jedi Training Acamady; Honor, Tradition; Masters of the Ways of the Force" but it wouldn't fit in the edit. xp so I tried to do Jedi in Training, but that wouldn't fit either... stupid shirt whee and I have those shoes whee And I have my Gir from Invador Zim wristband on!! yay!!! And my necklace that I never take off, but you can't see it that well. The gold color blends with the yellow of the shirt sweatdrop ninja ok I am done rambling now xd

Woo wooo!! Hehehe! xd Okay...this one I've posted before, but it does fit this thread and for the sake of posting-I shall!! This would be along the lines of a Fantasy Mercy :

Sweet little lace gloves, green stones, and a gold-coloured corset! Fantasy and Personal Design meet Just-How-Far-Can-I-Push-My-Skills-and-Still-Have-This-be-Recognizable?? whee The only thing I'm not crazy about is the yellowish underdress...the shading of the folds needs work, which I will undoubtably not do! xp The gown was meant to look of velvet and is lined with white lace. Umm..ta-dah?

Alright this sounds fun. Well this is what I look like now... BTW I bought the wrong blue jacket, there is a dark blue one like the one ShockTV wears, so if anyone wants to do a trade PM me. and my fantasy as an avatar. I wish they had clothes that we could edit for a fee and wear on our avatars.
