My Irish name is Chevonne, at least it's one of the possible translations... I still don't know for sure if my English name is Joanna or Jane (I like the first one better though).
If anyone can tell me what the Japanese version for Ioana is... 4laugh

My Chinese given name is 美吉. It literally means beautiful luck. My dad chose it for me because I needed one when I started going to school.

Pistil I've never had a different name... even in grade 4 in french class when we were 'translating our names to French' I was like "What's mine? What's mine?" Jennifer. In french? Jennifer. stare remove one of the "n"'s to make it french. and i'm going to change my name when i'm old enough to get it legally changed

My first name: Lucas, becomes Ruukasu in Japanese because there is no "l" and a "u" must be added as it has to end in a vowel. I think its pretty cool

Woaw that's really cool to have another name while learing a foreing language. We haven't had something like that at school (may be in future i manage to get another name xd ). So eveybody calls me Kerem ,my first name. And i don't think that Turkish names can be translate in other languages, can they?

Dave My mother's maiden name is Impastato, which is a great little Italian name. I could have been Dave Impastato! How cool is that? I'm kinda mad at my dad for marrying her and messing it up. xp Same premise here, only it would have been Buchholz, which is a great little German name... Instead I got an incorrectly spelt Spanish name. xp

my Lithuanian name is Paulius, but in english its Paul, and in slavic languages i think its Pavel...my surname cant be translated...just like all the other lithuanian surnames... my 2nd name that ill get by the end of may is Dovydas, thats Lithuanain for David smile

well my name is Valentina...and in Latin it means "someone who is skilful/capable"...mm...in English it doesn't sound cute... stare
but I like it in Italian...and that's all...and I like the name Ginevra or Kagome or...well if I was a boy...Alessandro that is the Italian version of Alexander 4laugh
