Jishaku's first stop was the library. It was the first building in the village to close, meaning the area was absolutely barren. Still, he skulked around in the shadows around the building and surrounding homes, peering into the ground with his enhanced vision. He could feel people moving, however it was usually within homes, and the odd passerby who was too far away to notice the cloaked man. With every step, he recorded what he saw underground on a small notepad, allocating what he saw underground to what major public landmark it was located under. If he continued to do this, he could get home and create a completed outline of the catacombs below.

After not even five minutes in the area, and another five for writing the man vanished into the dead of night towards his next location.

EXIT.

Tenrousei Enro
|| Genin || Field- Medic|| Yohei||

The structural integrity of the building on the way towards the library forced Enro to approach on foot, where great mounds of sand and pieces of sandstone littered the remains of the road. The perpetual wind, howling through the cavernous gaps in the few erect structures, whipped up a heavy wall of sand that urged him away from the sight. Regardless, Enro perservered and tore the remahis tunic into suitable protection for his face and eyes. Though his torso was bare to the unforgiving elements of the Wind Country, the gruesome scars that adorned his body would assure any onlooker than the shinobi had suffered much worse at one point in life.

On his left shoulder were the scars of a massive bite wound, deep puncture wounds that could easily be probed with a finger, though the flesh there was as hard and unforgiving as the rest of his body. The size of the wound was too great for any creature indigneous to the Wind Country, more akin to that of a shark bite if one were educated on the proportions of the creatures jaw. Another notable injury was the slivers of skin stripped from the flesh of his left pectoral in diagonal lines. The wounds here were no longer than his finger but pale and tinged with pink along the edges. Over his abdomen was a great puncture wound that looked like a pale malformed sun. The rest of his scars were lighter and far less mysterious, their dimensions easily likened to wounds of the blade or arrow. His back mostly bore the scars of a whip and his arms, wounds from beasts with claws or talon.

The refugee of the Rice Country trudged through the barrier of sand with a forearm over his face to block the worst of the wind. His progress was slow, impeded by the wind but eventually he found shelter aainst a sturdy sandstone column and waited for the wind to subside. Once the wind stopped its incessant howling Enro came out from the shelter and found his surroundings to be mostly alien. Where once stoof the skeletons of buildings there was now great mounds of sand that dipped down into craters of variable depth. The sand looked very uneven and, though not fully accustomed to the treacheries of the Wind Country Enro knew that it would be foolhardy to blindly make his way to what he was certain would be the ruins of the libary.

"Very well," he said, and his voice was deep and calm as befitting a man of great patience and stature "I will wait,". And he did just that, vaulting onto the pillar he used as shelter and adopting a meditative position while his amber eyes scanned the barren dunes and the buildings in the distance.

What remains of the library is a great heap of broken boards and crushed stone. Young children, academy students, crawl about in the safe areas of the heap, digging in the rubble for intact scrolls, which are quickly carried to a nearby shack hastily erected as a temporary holding place for them against the weather. Meanwhile, an ant trail of genin leads in and out of the scene, carting away rubble in wheelbarrows or on their backs, clearing the more precarious areas, ever so slowly, for the academy students to move on in their salvaging effort. A ring of ANBU surrounds the area preventing anyone without authorization from getting close enough to make off with any of the scrolls.

The first area that the redhead Genin neared was the Library. It was obvious to check it since it was what he thought as the most important area of the village, for Shinobi like him that is. His checking of the Library was more personal than anything for if he wanted training it had to be cleared out, and all of the village had to become stable, which didn't seem to be happening any time soon. He scanned around the area, his eyes wide with all the dust and rubble and such that was around the area in general. He turned his head and didn't even see the tower of the Kazekage there, it was gone. Not even the attack from the monster of the Desert, Cloverfield, was enough to completely decimate the tower, but whomever that person that attacked the village was, he had to be one very powerful man. It was people as strong as that which Axel not only wanted to stop before they could harm innocents, but he wanted to become that powerful himself, at whatever the cost to him.

The boy made haste onward to the piles of rubble that were on the edge of the library. Standing there he looked around him, looking for a way to get the rubble form point A to point B quicker, but he didn't find one, not yet at least. He took off his shirt and tied up the sleeves, later setting it on the ground. On top of his shirt he started placing medium sized rocks, larger ones down to act as a base, and smaller ones on top of the large rocks until it would get a little too heavy for him to carry, and that is about thirty three pounds, give or take a few, which is about the weight of a fifteen gallon water container which he had to carry ever so often in his home.

He lifted the stone-holding shirt up as strongly as he could, pulling it by the sides. The Genin grunted as he struggled to get a good grip on the side and decided to instead slip his hands, one by one, to the lower side of the shirt in order to make carrying it a little more practical, As far as carrying stones on a shirt could become practical that is. He opened his legs as much as he could and applied most of the weight on his shoulders and lower back and began moving, grueling step per step, carrying the rocks to where the other genin were taking them and them dumping the rocks there, taking a moment to catch his breath and rest his arms and back from the weight carrying.

The muscles on his arms burned as if someone had been hitting them all day, or you know, as if he would have just used some unconventional method to carry 33 pounds of rock from one place to another, which was never fun to do for a fourteen yearold kid that wasn't all that strong to begin with, but he could get things done anyway. " I have to find a better way to get this s**t done with." He said in a slight protest, looking around. He spotted some genin using Wheelbarrels but he didn't know where to get them and another trip using his favorite shirt was not in the plans, not for Axel, not know, even if it would serve as good work out. Good work out my a**. The genin panted as he tried to regain his strength, and the will, to keep working. He wasn't sure how many more trips he'd have to do to clear the ENTIRE library, much more if he didn't have any help to do so. He was going to have a bad time.

He sighed and turned around, walking back to the mountains of rubble, dragging the shirt behind him, his pale white skin being hit by the scorching sun on the desert. Once more he set his shirt on the ground and loaded thirty three more pounds of rocks onto it, getting the wonderfully comfortable shirt dirtier than what it already was. He did the same thing once more, picking up the shirt by the sides, stretching the poor shirt, and then carried it by holding it from bellow where all the weight was concentrated. He struggled to get to where he had to go but once he was there he dumped the rocks on to the pile again, clearing the debris from where it was and placing it somewhere else more manageable for when the workers got there they could take care of it.

On his way to the library, David felt himself growing more and more irritated with his sudden fame. Shinobi were bowing to him as he passed, rich civilians tried to get his attention just long enough to say they were his acquaintance, several dignitaries had managed to track him down from the administration tent, and at least one particularly foolish man had attempted to assassinate him. Sadly only one of that list had found themselves impaled on a particularly rough piece of metal jutting out from a nearby structure.

Arriving at the library was an entirely different scene altogether. ANBU perimeter, as ordered, holding back crowds of gawkers and occasionally catching a would be theft in the makings. Genin streaming in and out moving rubble out to where it was being traded off to larger carts and carried away to be dumped elsewhere, and children scrambling about the entire mess collecting scrolls. If it wasn't so well ordered, it would be chaos. David approached the mess, observing for the moment as he skillfully ignored the update being given by an ANBU on his right, and the simpering of one of the few idiots he couldn't kill or evade on his left. Stepping within the perimeter handily removed one of the issues, and the other moved on to more productive tasks on his own a few seconds later, leaving David in relative peace.

Everything seemed to be going well. All the genin were quickly and efficiently... "You have got to be kidding me." David couldn't help but mutter to himself in utter shock as he spotted one boy, staggering as if he held the world on his shoulders, sweating by the bucketful, carrying a bundle of rocks, wrapped up in a shirt, on his back. Now, besides the shirt that wasn't an uncommon sight in this scene. He could count at least five others at a glance in the exact same condition. What made this one so special then? The size of his bundle. Where other genin were carrying slabs of stone, bundles of metal, or sheets of roofing, this boy had... At most three rocks, the size of a melon. David had seen civilian girls no more than ten years old carry more than that, with half the difficulty.

It had to be a joke. It had to be. There was no way a boy of that age, a genin no less, could be that weak. He had to be faking it, or had been working for hours. But then, wouldn't the shirt have torn by then? He was tempted to ask the ANBU, but that would be playing into the joke, because there was no way it wasn't one. Yet, even as David watched, now transfixed by the scene before him, the boy went back, loaded up with another miniscule load, and started dragging it back as well, with even more difficulty. Now, David considered himself quite good at reading people. Body language often said a lot more to him than the words out of a person's mouth. But even he was beginning to doubt himself, because that boy was showing no sign of this being a joke, when it obviously had to be. Right? The ANBU hadn't just let some half dead civilian in and put him to work, had they?

Could they have? It seemed incredibly unlikely but... Perhaps the kid had claimed to be a ninja and they were too busy to care? Sighing, David finally stepped forward. If the boy wasn't a ninja, he didn't belong here. And if he was, and that was what he had to show... He didn't belong here either. Didn't belong as a ninja. "You." the young kage spoke, quietly but forcefully as he walked directly to the weakling child. "What is your name and rank, and where is your shinobi identifier?" The boy wasn't wearing a headband after all, but many chose not to these days, preferring less obvious fashion statements. He couldn't blame them. Actually favored the idea. If he ever got another identifier again himself, he'd have to try it.

Hearing a commanding voice behind him, the genin turned around and stared at the boy that was calling him over, demanding to know his name and rank. At first he was unconvinced by the man's height and seemingly youthful complexion, but then he recognized him, it was the Kazekage. He walked over to the kazekage and bowed before him, his shirt resting on his shoulder fairly stretched. " My name is Axel Storn Kazekage-Sama. Genin. " He's say straightening his back, trying to look more dignifying in front of the Kazekage. He pushed his left hand forward, showing the man a silver bracelet with the symbol of Sunagakure on it. " Here it is sir, may I ask why do you wish to know?" Axel questioned the Kazekage, wondering just what did the leader of the Hidden Sand Village want with him.

' Wait, he's a Sand User! He can help me out with my training and I can recover my family's lost valuables!' He thought, but that was wishful thinking at its finest. The man after all was the head of the village and wouldn't have time to waste on a lowly Genin such as himself, so he could only ponder on what the Kazekage wanted with him, maybe it was to thank him for aiding in the cleanout, or something of the sorts, who knew, anything could happen.

David scowled at the boy's immediate reaction, instantly dropping his respect for the boy another notch, though one had to admit it was already quite low from what he'd seen. A weakling and a suck up... Then again, some people just utilized larger shows of respect than others. Well, he still preferred to be distantly respected. Bowing and... Enough of that thought.

With his "Greeting" done, the boy provided the requested information, though David still didn't quite believe it, and showed his identifier. A bracelet. Odd choice. Simply staring at the boy a bit longer, David considered. Was it possible for a genin to be so physically weak? Perhaps. There were forms of their art that required no strength at all. Perhaps his specialization was in medical, or genjutsu. But then, why would he be here? Medics were supposed to have reported to the hospital. Probably genjutsu then.

He considered for a moment simply asking the boy his specialization, but anyone could make a claim. First... Hm. Yes, that would do. Holding up his left hand, David allowed a portion of his sand to flow out of his sleeve and into the palm, quickly forming and solidifying into a cube, which he then hefted to check it's weight. Satisfied, he looked to the child again. "Hold this." he commanded, tipping his hand and allowing the hundred pound cube to fall toward the boy.

" Um Sir... What are you doing?" He would say to the Kazekage, looking at the Cube as the man made it, feeling much less confident about the entire thing now that he had seen David's face. He extended his hands, letting the cube fall on his hands. It didn't last three second in it, the weight of the sand object made his arms give out. He let the sand cube fall in a very pitiful display of strength, or lack there for. Behind the block of Sand fell the genin himself, loosing his footing once the cube of sand landed on his hands, planting face first in the sandy streets of the village. " Ow..." The genin grumbled on the sand, the left side of his face planted firmly on the sand, both of his eyes closed to make sure that sand didn't get in them.

A growl rose in David's throat as the boy dropped the cube and fell. He didn't even try to hold on and fall with it, but had let it slip right through his fingers, and lost his balance. Pathetic. "Pick it up." David ordered, an edge to his voice. If... THIS, was the quality the academy was putting out now, he was going to have to see about instating some new regulations. He hadn't been happy when he heard the training time before becoming genin was shortened, and even the tests abolished. A bad move on all counts, in his opinion. And this? This was evidence, no, proof, that his feelings on the matter were correct. Maybe that would be something to look into once the village was back to full capability.

Axel was in trouble, and he knew it. " Um Sir... It's way to heavy... I can't pick it up." He'd say to the Kazekage, his hair resting on his back, his eyes staring at the cube. He pushed himself off the ground pretty quickly, looking very agile at that, doing it with little trouble. He wasn't strong, but he was agile. Strength wise, he was terrible, but his movements were graceful, if that meant anything for the kazekage that is. " I'm not too keen on physical strength." He'd add cleaning the sand and dirt off him, hoping the Kazekage understood and wouldn't get mad.

"Pick. It. Up." David growled, now slightly angry at the boy's evident refusal to obey a direct order, on top of his other apparent flaws. If the boy could take the time to try and look graceful, and clean himself off, and even just try excusing himself, then he obviously didn't understand the concept of a command. Something that would have to be remedied, and quickly, if he wished to remain a ninja of Sunagakure. An order was to be followed, immediately and without question, to the best of the ninja's ability. And when the order came from not only the highest ranked officer in the organization, but also the Ichibi host, well known throughout history beyond even his own to be willing to kill on a whim, it wasn't exactly wise to blatantly refuse. Not unless you felt you could outrun the desert.

Axel was getting a bit ticked off by the attitude of the Kage, apparently he couldn't understand the basic fact that not all shinobi were built for strength. In his case, he REALLY wasn't built for physical strength. " Sir, it isn't that I don't want to pick it up." He said bending over grab the cube of sand, attempting to pick it up, not getting anywhere with it. " It is that I simply cannot do it. I am not a physical shinobi. I am not built to do these things. That I can't do regular tasks that other shinobi can? No I can't. Am i committed to help Sunagakure to the best of my own abilities? That I can do, and will do on the first opportunity I can, and this would be one of those sir." Ranks and positions could only get you so far in an argument. Just because David was the overseer of the village didn't exempt him from not assessing what was going on, and Axel wasn't afraid to point it out pretty clearly as he had just done. That the way he did it may bring repercussions? He knew that. Did he care? Not at all. Rebuilding the village came first, and if David was level headed as a Kage he would leave the matter where it was and retake it after the village was re-built; not only that but he would find a way to do something about the boy and his 'situation' instead of actually punishing the Genin.

"Kill him! Kill him like the last one, but cut him open and let him bleed!" David scowled, growling under his breath as the Ichibi's voice slammed into his consciousness. The beast had picked up on his souring mood, then. Best not to tempt things further, or he probably would shred the child then. But the attitude with which he responded, that wouldn't be allowed. If Suna was to recover and survive into the future, everyone needed to know their place.

"If you wish to remain a ninja, you will learn to hold your tongue, and to follow orders." David snapped, glaring at the boy. "If you have breath to speak, you obviously aren't trying hard enough to do what you were told." With that, the young kage bent down, grasping the corner of the cube with one hand, his fingers sinking into the material as he lifted it easily back up to chest height. A moment later, the cube dispersed, sand returning up his sleeves, and into his weights.

"You are to remain here until the work is done. When this site is cleared, you are to move to the next. When that site is clear, you move on again, until either the work is done, or a superior officer clears you to quit. When that happens, you are to return to me. The only times you are to not be working, is during meals and at designated rest times." Perhaps the added work would put some actual muscle on the boy. Whether he liked it or not, there was a minimum level of physical ability to be expected of any shinobi. And well, even if it didn't have that result, it should at least teach the child to speak when his opinion was requested, and not otherwise.

As he turned to walk away, David paused, turning his head to look at the boy one more time. "And use the wheelbarrows. That show was pathetic." His piece said, for now, David continued on, walking straight to the deepest section of rubble in the area and scanning it, trying to decide where and how to start on his own portion of the work.

Axel just stared at the Kage without words to say, rage budding inside of him, wishing deep inside of him would have the power to actually fight the kazekage, but thankfully for him, he knew he didn't, he wasn't going to do anything stupid, but that wouldn't stop him from speaking his mind. " Kazekage-sama. With all do respect, as a human being there are orders that I simply can't follow for one reason or another. It isn't in my physical capabilities to do so, and that sir is a fact. But you are right. It is pathetic to say the least, and I will do my best as a ninja from this village to fix it." The genin would say giving a slight bow to the Kazekage, trying to keep himself cool and not say something that he would, in the end, come to regret.

After that being said the genin turned around and walked away from the Kage, throwing his shirt to the sand in clear dislike of what had just happened, walking over to where the wheel barrels where. Stupid Kage and his stupid seniority. Seniority means s**t in the real world. The same attack that can kill him can kill me... Okay no not really he's a freaking Kage but still! It is uncalled for! Kept going over and over again through the boy's mind. He was highly displeased with the way that David had spoken to him, but there was nothing he could do about it, he was the Kazekage, and he could do as he pleased, when he pleased, with who ever he pleased.

[ The dice will be to decide what will Axel's response and reaction will be, an even number, he just does as David says and doesn't confront him, odd well he gets his a** handed to him by David.

Edit: Well ******** me sideways. ]
