The ending of Spring Term means that Spring Cleaning is nearly done!
One of the results is: a mass sorting!
That means nearly all of the house-elves will be able to get sorted, as long as they meet certain requirements before June 29.
The mass sortings will begin on June 6. So get excited house-elves, remember to show lots of guild pride, and good luck!
There's no reason to really memorize this post because someone will be PMing you in a few days about everything you need to know about mass sorting! Please have your PMs open (not just Friends Only)

Hello everyone! I'm not sure if the Headmaster is aware or not, but the Hogwarts Express is now boarding! You must all leave Hogwarts! This time, the Train Conductor didn't leave the Trolley Witch. Don't worry though because you'll all be back soon!

Greetings Everyone!
Now that classes are over, your bellies are full, and the Hogwarts Express is here, I believe it is time for me to make a speech!
I haven't made one in a very long time, so forgive me if I sound a bit rusty!
Now I've already posted the Key Dates for the Summer, so you should all be excited for things to come. I am talking of course about the Quidditch World Cup! Planning is underway here, and if you have some input, please post it. We are still looking for at least one trivia volunteer!
Let's see, the Head Elf has already mentioned mass sorting, but there is something else I'm forgetting...
That's right! Teachers/Instructors please post all house-points in the Hour Glasses no later than June 11. I believe there is an ending to Slytherin's win-streak looming.
Tomorrow, I will also open up a thread for members' voting in a very special contest. More information about that will be released later in the Entrance Hall. I plan to post winners of all contests no later than June 11, so that Summer Term and the Quidditch World Cup can start off the right way!
As usual, don't forget to check the Entrance Hall for all guild updates!

THE QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP IS REALLY, REALLY CLOSE!!
GET EXCITED!
I'm even brushing up on the rules! There's also a new poll!
Okay, glad to get that announcement out the way. If you're as excited as I am you're going to want to check this thread frequently on Saturday for a major update wink
Also, if I owe you a prize (as in, you won something in this guild but have yet to receive it) please PM me. I am quite forgetful it seems. If you can PM me and let me know when you won the prize, I'll be happy to give it to you. Don't worry, there are ways to check, so please don't be dishonest. If I'm not PMed by Sunday, then I'll assume all awards have been given out.
Finally, there's a new and PERMANENT ID Shop! Hurry and get a slot before they fill up!

With the Quidditch World Cup right around the corner, there's a bit of business from last term that I need to finish up.
Firstly, Congratulations to Hufflepuff for winning the 2011 Spring Term House Cup! That's right, the Puffies have finally broken Slytherin's win-streak! I also want to offer congratulations to Slytherin House for that impressive 8 term streak. Kudos biggrin
Thanks to everyone who voted in the first-ever open voting for Top Student. Congratulations to Aunt Slappy for being chosen as the winner. She will be the recipient of a Collectible and 10k. Riku Masen and techpriest35 (the other Top Students) will also receive 10k.
I'll be updating the Trophy Room with all of this information as soon as the madness of the Quidditch World Cup settles down.
Now speaking of the Quidditch World Cup, sign ups for positions/teams will begin on MONDAY JUNE 27, 2011. On that day (near midnight), the thread will open for sign ups ONLY. As of now, all positions are first come, first served, so don't be late to sign up!

Ladies and Gentlemen!
No one can be more excited than I that the Quidditch World Cup is about to begin....
however when it begins depends SOLELY on when the two teams are filled.
We currently need TWO more players (one Beater, one Keeper)
You can sign up here.
Remember, House Elves CAN play, you do NOT need to be sorted to play!
The sooner these positions are filled, the better....
Also, Win a Wager is now OPEN.

Quidditch World Cup, which is coming to a close! We are currently hammering out a few more details. Stay tuned here and in The Stands for important updates.
Also, House Spirit Week is right around the corner! Please head to the SFQ and start brainstorming! We want your ideas!

Greetings Everyone!
I hope you've all had as much fun as I have this summer! Not only has the game been exciting and close, but the commentary has been equally or more entertaining!
Like all good things, the Quidditch World Cup is soon coming to an end.
The game will end tomorrow, August 17. That's the final day players can turn in their trivia/riddle responses. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Trolley Witch will remain open until August 18. So get your candy and omniculars now before she closes!
Although the competition is coming to an end, we ask that you join us for the most exciting part: THE CLOSING CEREMONIES!
We ask that you continue chatting in the Stands and help us celebrate the 2011 World Cup winners, MVP, and other awards! Prizes will be announced then, so stay tuned! All these announcements will be in The Stands ONLY.
Finally, in case you're wondering how you'll be getting home after the closing ceremonies.... we've arranged to have Portkeys take everyone home! More information will be delivered near the end of the ceremonies! Look forward to it because it will be exciting!
Any questions/comments please head over to the SFQ!
In other news (aside from the World Cup)
We have a new Gryffindor Head: Avatar34, whom you all probably already know. Unfortunately AnimeKitty47 had to step down due to computer issues. DownAzzLette also recently joined the Mod Squad!

Finally, we are now planning House Spirit Week. Vivacious_red already had a splendid idea, but you can add yours and help the Mod Squad by going to the SFQ.

Hello everyone! On behalf of Master Adonis and the other Heads, I have a message! Once the World Cup ends Wednesday (tomorrow), a few things will be happening. All of which may require some assistance from you! 1) Sorting will officially open on Thursday. It's a bit late, but don't worry, we'll make sure all of the eligible elves who want to get sorted, get sorted in time. 2) We will be doing a series of PMs to find out who among the guild is actually still with us. This is necessary to have an awesome House Spirit Week! ((For those who are willing to help send the PMs on behalf of the Heads, please PM Professor Adonis, make sure to make the subject 'Helper')) 3) Details about House Spirit Week will be released at an alarming rate. Keep posted in this thread for those updates! 4) Finally, all prizes for the World Cup will be delivered by Sunday. If you don't get your prize (and you're supposed to have one) by then, contact ME. Greetings everyone!
Firstly, I'd like to apologize to anyone that was thrown off the Hogwarts Express by our rather rash Train Conductor.... It certainly shouldn't happen again xd
Secondly, to EVERYONE that made House Spirit Week a super success: thank you! Congratulations to Hufflepuff for getting their BADGER all the way back to the grounds! Also, congratulations to Yami Enzeru88 for winning the Best Dressed Competition. I hope she enjoys the Magic Mirror she earned!
I also decided that our guild deserved a Guild Chat. To access guild chat, go to the guild's homepage and there should be a link there for you all.
I know I tend to drag on my announcements, so I just want to say one final thing:
