One of Fleance's sons from a past life, he was hidden from him by his mother because she knew of the god's craze. However, Yasen didn't know that Fleance died, or that he was reborn, or that he doesn't know that Yasen exists. Yasen was the most immature of his litter, child-like and naive, always having to be looked after by his brother. Zanth's litter mate, he's a bit emotionally crippled by his family life and naive, very child-like, and Zanth has had to babysit him as well. Zanth tried to toughen him up, but only succeeded in making Yasen a little bit wary of his company, but they really love each other, since they lost both of their parents. Zanth does his best to keep his baby brother away from Fleance, too.

He has an appreciation for water and the life it gives as well as for life itself. He's not one to lose his temper or react before thinking something through. Having grown up alongside the sea, Cyprinnus always had a great love of the ocean and water. But when his pride dissolved, he didn't quite know how to handle it. Sure, he could have gone to the pride his father lived in, or to the swamps where he had a brother, or the demons in a bid to save his sister, but he decided to go to the exact opposite of where he grew up. And to him the opposite of the sea was the desert. He started wandering and kept it up for several months. He never knew many days of thirst, for as far as talents among lions go, his is finding water. Once you live alongside it all your life, you have kind of a knack for recognizing the signs of it. Through times of no water, he gained a better appreciation for the thing he loved.

Colored by: Blue As a babe in the Demon hunters, she's fascinated in the conflict, very proud of her family, and very idealistic. Very 'patriotic', almost. xD She loves to hear stories of the demons and the battles fought against them, even if when she's little they might give her nightmares, she just can't help herself. She acts all proud and tough, but if she thinks she sees a demon or if there's a raid, she slips away for cover, then will boast about it to anyone, trying to impress them.
As she grows up a little bit, she's very careless and carefree. She's part of the best pride ever ever, what has she got to worry about? Plus she's gonna be the best demon hunter around, duh. Because she's not of age and doesn't really have any big responsibilities owed to the pride yet, she's not very good at taking care of the ones to her family, such as being responsible and NOT slinking out towards the Aikanaro lands. (Not that she'll ever go to them, just off the territory in their direction... then turn tail and run and brag about a made up story, oh yeah, she's so tough!)
And as if she could get any cockier, she does around adolescence. Frankly, she's the best thing to happen ever. She gives her elders respect to their face, after all- to the pride she's still just a kid. This is the age she starts messing around with boys, but kids can't have kids, so she's more of a tease. Just awful, quite frankly. Anything she's supposed to do is just such a chore, and she does become an apprentice because she wants to be a Shujaa (well, she really would like to be a Shetani'msasi, but that's not gonna happen, and she wouldn't really, she's still not as gung-ho as she'd like others to think she is.)
Xun starts growing up just as she becomes an adult. She's got a real rank and takes her job more seriously than anything else. For plot reasons, she begins to look more softly on the demons, feeling not all are evil at it's worst, and that some, especially the babies, can be converted. Of course that's not her job, so she keeps out the attackers, rather than making any assaults of her own.She grew up in the Demon hunter pride, so she was always very justice-inclined, in a way. She talks her game up, but she's not as invincible as she would otherwise like others to believe. She's rather happy and light-hearted, and her feelings to protect the pride of the Demon hunters translates to wherever she makes her home. Because of growing up as the sort of yin to the demons' yang, she needs that dark to her light. Males will be that new dark. She has always had family in the Amazons, so once the Demon hunters broke up, it seemed natural to head out in search of them. She's always been the good to the bad, the demon hunter to the demon, and now the females will be that good to the males' bad. Though in her past experience she never had a bad run into with a male, the pride's ways will rub off on her a little
