well, in all honesty, just be yourself. dont try to change yourself for something you might not be happy with. After all, after the games are put away, you have to deal with the reality of a girl. i sound so old.... sweatdrop

I'm sure it's all been said before, but I've only read the first page. The only advice I can think of offering is just telling you a bit about my boyfriend and I. We game together often enough, but we don't pit ourselves against each other that often. I beat him at Soul Calibur 2 and often enough at racing, he beats me at any RPG or strategy game. We work flawlessly as a team in any game including that option, otherwise games are not a major part of our relationship. Put games aside, you need a girl that accepts and understands your love of gaming, even if she doesn't play them herself. If she does it can just be a bonus, your relationship needs to exist on many other levels first.

Nerdy, they gotta be nerdy. And into rpgs. And not the kind of gamer guys who will brag to you for HOURS about how exactly they beat Sephiroth for the eigth time. And it's happened.
I don't want to generalize, because I know many gamer guys who are pricks, but nerdy gamer guys guys are most often nicer than just gamer guys. I don't know why. Its gotta be the reduced UV rays.
Nice, sweet, sense of humour, respectful, good at RPGs, and a nerd.

Well I am a gamer guy, and I am the nice type, but it seems no one likes me, because I hate to wait to tell them all I like games, I just wish someone in the general area of Indiana liked games and guys that like games. >.> I have had one girlfriend that likes games, and because I play them so much, she turned away from them *pouts*

There's really no difference between Gamer Girls and any other girl. Every one has different tastes in guys, it doesn't matter weather you’re a Gamer Girl or a Book Worm. Sure we may like video games, but that doesn't mean we're a different species. whee

I am a proud gamer girl, single and would prefer to remain that way for awhile. I can tell you that I would like a guy without the humongous ego, understanding, trusting, caring, willing to be a confident, and will share common interests as me as of gaming. (That may take awhile since I'm just the rabid Nintendo kinda girl) Someone who's not afraid to tell me how he feels about things and is relatively cheerful. I don't really care for the looks much. But I would like it if he was pretty athletic, I enjoy playing sports too. 3nodding

Uhm. Not all gamer girls are the same. Everyone has different wants for a significant other.
Just don't be a jackass. That works for almost everyone ;p

Goodness..haven't been here in awhile..
Pfft..I'm almost 18..I love anime/games/computers/cars/music & guitar...and I've never had a bf at all..but..*shrugs*..like I care anymores..I used to get depressed over it..but all for a guy to want to kill myself b/c I feel like a pointless geek?..of course not!, xd
But yeah..it's all about who you find and are willing to cope with..there's always gonna be something different.
