I'm a guy and I'm seeking a girlfriend. (DON'T SLAP ME!) I would like you to either PM me or post here advice about what gamer girls like in guys.
(And if you ask real nice, I might even be your boyfriend. heart ) (But that's off the topic. ... Still, consiter it. )
Help a guy whose heart is full with love and needs to give it to someone.

ya know, honestly there was a time when all i wanted was a girl that could beat me at a fighting game. Eventually i went with any girl i could discuss games with, and eventually then someone who just made me happy.
I've actually gone out with a few gamer girls... and while we did have games in common, i found that we had little else. Indeed, some of the gamer girls i went out with in retrospect were downright scary. Look for someone who makes you happy, and cares about you for more then just your almost unhealthy ( xd ) love for games.
My girlfriend owns an SNES, and Playstation (but no memory card). She'll play some games with me, and she understands my need for them. But when we're together i usually holster my controller. And i'm happier with her then i ever dreamed of being when i was with the gamer girls i dated.
All i'm saying is just because you want a gamer girl, don't olny look at that one quality. Gamer girls are more then that, and while playing Halo with your significant other could be awesome, watching a meteor shower and talking about books could be just as gratifying. 3nodding

Wow Gartain, thats deep.
But I wouldn't consider "gamer girls" some sort of special species that have different qualities than regular girls. Its not like having a love for video games changes your likes and dilikes in guys, those are common place in -every- girl. You just need to find someone who makes you happy, like Gartain said.
And not all gamer chicks are scary, Im kind of offended. whee

I think her suggestion is that you refrain from inadvertantly claiming anime characters are in love with you. It's not exactly an alluring characteristic. Here are some suggestions. Lose the obsessed fan guy crap, accept the commentary you asked for it, and be hot as hell. That usually works.

....yeah. I think most guys would be stoked if their girl was into gaming as much as he was. I know I would. It doesn't quite work if you try to convert you girl into a gamer girl...mostly because it's difficult to get people to change in that regard.
I think the fact of the matter is, I don't LOOK nearly as geeky and nerdy as I really AM. So the girls I seem to attract don't realize the cold harsh truth until it's too late. sweatdrop Moreover, I look (at least, I think I look)like the kind of guy gamer girls typically aren't attracted to.
Granted, I'm not looking for anyone right now, but I did spend a considerable time of life discovering this.

If you can not get a girl in real life, don't bother with the internet because its only gunna ******** ya up more! I would like to add that it would be a good idea, ya know? the whole point of the thread, if ya didn't ask for a girlfriend. Only that you want to know what gamer girls like.
