Lions get full, zombies (usually) eternally seek food even though it doesn't really go anywhere. Lions aren't mindless flesh-crazed monsters, zombies (usually) are.

Lions get hungry again, just like zombies.

Right. It's obviously not a 100% comparison, but if you aren't a complete idiot, it's easily understandable.

Most of the time, a zombie will be eating a corpse, detect a survivor (in whatever way they do it) and go after it even though it practicly gorged itself on the last meal. Of course, come to think of it, all zombies usually feel is hunger, they wouldn'r know when to quit.

No, I think if their kill is fresh enough, if they were eating, you'd have a better chance of getting away.

That wasn't really the point, but yes, and it may go after you even if it only took one bite, but that doesn't mean it'll catch you.

Same thing with a lion. even if it has a kill, it may or may not go after you. My analogy stands.

The lion may be intelligent enough to do that, getting two meals instead of one. Zombies, however, don't usually go back to the same corpse, but it does happen sometimes. Maybe it depends on hunger for lions, detection and type for zombies, and a lion is a bit more likely to pounce quickly and tear you to peices.

You're just making wild assumptions. And lions aren't greedy killing machines. If they have a kill, the only reason they would attack is to protect said kill. A lion isn't very likely at all to tear you to pieces if it's already busy. Same with a zombie. It'd be easy to sneak by if it was busy eating. You seem to have no knowledge of zombie nature, and therefore you are just making it up!

Zombies ARE made up, genious, therefore, all we know of them is is made up as well, isn't it? As for zombie nature, as sstated, it depends on the type of zombie. Some may just feast on the first thing they see until there's nothing left, then hunt a new target, some may just be killing machines that don't even eat. Depending on the type, when people stand near a feasting zombie for a few seconds, it may get and go for them.
I really don't know much about lions, though.

Even made up things have rules as to what can and can't happen. The forefathers of the genre set up the zombie guidelines. And then there's the scientific aspect of what zombies may be like if they ever happen. You say depending on the type, but I think you may be mixing up what is a zombie and what isn't. And obviously, whether it's eating or not, standing near a zombie isn't a good idea. But running past a zombie is usually the only chance of survival if you can't kill it.

Zombie forefathers? o.O Anyway, I think I see what you mean, like how a highly intelligent, weapon using infectious cannibal isn't really a zombie? I wonder if that type would use eating utinsels... As for the zombies I described, just because you haven't seen them in a movie, that doesn't mean they can't exist. (as far as zombies go) It may be a killing machine zombie that only may infect it's vitims with thrashing them to death. they may have been developed testosterone experiments increasing aggression signfigantly, for example. You saw in dawn of the dead that a guy opened a door, a zombie was eating, it stopped, and came after him. Or was it coincidental timing? Also, there are many instances of a zombie turning to you from a corpse, then back to the same corpse if they lose you in dead rising, very hungry parasite-controlled zombies.
What did I leave out that time?
