Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Half-Youma Captain Sakuraiite
HP: 75
Action: [vibes]
Damage N/A
Location: F4

Arsenolite and Ashanite had charged up to assist Aquamarine and Jet. The baby seal had bolted off with her firends, and Sakuraiite didn't think it was wise to engage, even though she was thinking very hard about what that girl had said. She'd said something about being a zombie--which Sakuraiite was pretty sure she wasn't.

Also, the comment about her ears had been, in Sakuraiite's opinion, very mean and uncalled for, because her ears were very cute.

But there had bene no purpose in chasing a whole group, when most of them massively outranked her, and so she stayed behind, foolishly, where their generator blew.

Stupid of her. Stupid, stupid, stupid. She would have to get better about making decisions on the fly, but it was difficult with nothing to go off of.

Oh well. She was mostly unscathed, and this would be a learning experience for her. She would simply have to do better next time.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Capt. Idrialite
HP: 75
Action: feels. feels feels feels.
Damage: N/A
Location: B6

Idrialite held her close, and prayed that everyone around them was too distracted to notice that a Captain and a Page were having an obviously intimate moment. Or, if not that, he prayed that there was enough time to cover his tracks. To save her, somehow.

He wasn't sure how. Even without Chaos bearing down on them, they were trapped--so unless Order had a miracle up its sleeve, Idrialite had to admit, he was afraid. Afraid that he might lose Eva to the darkness that had held him prisoner for so long.

"I'm--" He started to say alright, but that was a blatant lie. He didn't want to guess how many pieces of shrapnel had embedded themselves in his back. Didn't want to think about the pain and how it was going to be a rough day, getitng that treated. "I'll survive," he promised. Because he had to. Because there had to be something after this awful, miserable night.

A very tired smile crossed his lips. "Captains can teleport, yes, but it's a great strain--and we were warned that it wouldn't be effective here. Something about those alien machines..." He hissed, inhaling sharply as a burst of pain struck through his back. "But I'll be alright. One thing I can say for the Negaverse, they don't let their soldiers go easily."

He closed his eyes, leaning his cheek into her touch.

"I don't want you to be one of us, Eva," he said, and his voice shook. "So if you can--even if you can't take me with you--get out of here. Don't let them take you." A soft, tired laugh. "I didn't have a choice. You deserve one, love."

Lieutenant Ransomite
HP: 50 - 11 = 39 - 5 = 34 - 13 = 21/50
Action: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa intensifies
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 3 + 5 = n/a DMG
Location: D6

'For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory'

Ransomite did not like that the Mercury page was looking back at him, much less that the Mercury page was gesturing to another Mercury page. The second one was harder for Ransomite to see, harder for him to get a clear look at. But something about the both of them nagged at him, made his heart drop into his stomach and ferment there. He felt his thoughts try to slide away from the subject, and he was not at all loathe to allow it.

He did not like the sense that he'd seen those pages before. He did not like that at all. Something about it, something he couldn't identify, filled him with intense sadness.

'Forever and ever.'

And so Ransomite jumped on the chance for a distraction as General Faustite blew to pieces. Colour drained from Ransomite's face, and he felt quite faint from the sight of it, but he took a very deep, long, slow breath in an attempt not to think too hard about what had happened and what his brain said it must look like up close.

There were many, many reasons Ransomite had not become a doctor.

He tried to yank his attention back to what the others around him were doing, what his General was doing, in case she needed him for something specific. She had moved to another part of the field, but he still craned his neck to at least get his bearings on where she had gone to. Ransomite also eyed some of the people coming closer, his glance half challenge and half warning.

None of the General Sovereigns had moved, so Ransomite didn't think they seemed worried about the course of events. That was a good thing, right?

Right?

'Amen.'

Imhotep, Page of Mercury
HP: 50 - 17 (Meridiana) - 21 (Albite) = 12/50
Action: Moving to D6 so he can look at whatever Promethei's gesturing about, also to get away from the heartbeat console
Damage: 1d10 + 3 + 1 = n/a
Location: D4 -> D6

The fight was over.

At least, that was what the sense in his mind gave him, and he wasn't really sure he liked that even though he was fairly sure it was trying to be reassuring. From what he could see, he didn't have reason to feel much of any hope--they were still trapped in a box surrounded by powerful forces of Chaos, for one. For another, he was fairly sure that whatever this console was in front of them, it may have been more alive than any of them thought. The pulsing concerned him. It concerned him enough that he started looking for some way to get away from it--

Oh.

There was Promethei.

'That's where he went.' How the hell had they ended up across the field from one another? Imhotep snorted quietly under his breath, more a whuff of air than anything, and set out to make his way over. With so much happening, Imhotep made sure to keep his eyes on Promethei, just in case.

He realized he was pointing at someone.

He spotted him, the someone that Promethei was pointing at. The man, a Negaverse agent by the looks of him, had something familiar about him, but Imhotep turned his attention away when the agent made no move toward either of them. It was likely a coincidence--there was not much distinctive about the agent's appearance, and Imhotep had other things, more important things to worry about.

Cadet Lysvi
Action: Staying with Lyndin, mostly because Yddagen is.
Damage: --
Location: D2

Good.

Perhaps Yddagen felt the faintest bit of panic when the two senshi somehow wrenched Caedus' starseed, but Lysvi felt nothing but relief. Unlike their commodore's insistence that Caedus must die for what his starseed held, Lysvi very much wanted him to live. Wanted him to thrive. They would adapt.

They had adapted before.

So much of their existence was about adapting.

They watched the duo escape, watched a knight scold Lyndin, watched another senshi move to help Lyndin, watched a prince attempt to help him, perhaps, as well-- and yet, they felt rooted to the spot, not moving any closer, not moving any further away. They saw some of their fellow cadets dash over in an attempt to help him. They saw a couple of cadets reject Lyndin's help and protection, breaking the bubbles around themselves. They saw a few that seemed to agree to remain within protection for the purpose of others.

Perhaps, none of that mattered.

Lysvi was torn. This planet was so lovely, and their people, despite their fights with the Negaverse, seemed extraordinarily nice. They felt their heart bleed as it always did like several of those of Order plead their case with Lyndin and with them. They felt their heart bleed when they had led them all here just to turn against them, summoning their enemies here. They felt every word Neryn said -- wanting to fix this mess they caused, wanting to truly apologize and make amends for showing up with a promise to end the strife but only, instead, making it worse. They had seen the way another had pleaded that it wasn't Gavaen's murderer's fault that she had attacked a cadet -- it was Chaos.

On the other hand, their world was dying. Their world, the world they had always known, of Velencya. It was something their people deserved to know. It was something their people deserved to be able to adapt to. It was something Lysvi wanted to help them adapt to. It was something Lysvi wanted to help them adapt to with the help of Caedus, even. They all deserved to live. Lysvi wanted to make sure Velencians lived, even if it was no longer on Velencya, eventually. They would find a solution. They would find a way.

They didn't know where their place was.

So they looked up to Yddagen.

He seemed resolute.

If he believed his place was still on Velencya, they would believe him.

Cadet Cypher
HP: 45 [50 - 5(Slidr)]
Action:Following Lyndin
Damage: N/A
Location: D2

This war was theirs, and the Vanguard, along with the technology they’d brought, had been used to tilt it in the favor of the General Kings and Queens.

He had chosen to follow Commodore Lyndin. Swore, if only to himself, that he’d follow his command. Up until now, he had failed in that regard, unable to contribute much in the way of information.

They had been instructed to avoid Chaos, however, unless attacked first by one of the other Cadets, the lower ranked officers and their corrupts did not waste time on any of them. Then again, perhaps the White Moon Senshi or the Knights would have helped protect them as well if not for Lyndin’s command once the ambush commenced.

Cypher felt confused… conflicted…

So much information had been revealed through the broadcast of Caedus’ communicator, things he did not agree with yet understood the reasoning for it. For all that the Commodore had done, there had been a tough decision to be made and he shouldered the responsibility of that alone.

Too many of his comrades had died for this, and he saw on Lyndin’s face how much each death had pained him, yet he remained strong and even now tried to protect those who have not fallen yet.

Earth was not their world.

Many were wary of their appearance. Few, such as Albiero, were accepting of it. But here, in the throes of battle, it seemed unanimous that their presence was not wanted. Not that it was a difficult decision to make, but that knowledge had him moving closer to the Commodore, pulling out his blaster in case anyone else tried to attack him.

Super Sailor Hydor
HP: 7/75
Action: Feeling considerably more at ease with the Chaos starting to filter out of him. Sitting and listening to Pendour and Aogashima
Damage: --
Location: B3 -> B4

His own thoughts had locked him into a practical paralysis, and instead of attacking and acting on his rage, he curled himself into a ball and rocked and held his head and repeated the mantra that he begged -- make it stop, make it stop, make it stop --

and then it stopped.

It eased back, and he felt considerably calmer as the influence of Chaos backed off and found itself replaced with thicker energy he was also not terribly fond of, but was somehow fonder of than the prior. There was bustle happening around him and he didn't particularly care, to be honest, attempting to even his breathing and his heart rate --

Until he heard it.

In spite of it all, there was someone playing a musical instrument, and someone singing, just a small distance over. Hydor couldn't believe it. He could. He couldn't.

He might have let out a short huff of disbelief.

It was disbelief he was willing to entertain, though, and Hydor clawed his way closer to it.

He sat.

He closed his eyes.

And he let the sounds of the different melodies distract him and calm his mind.

Basiluzzo Page of Uranus
HP: 50/50
Action: Noticed Encke noticed him. Backing up into E4 and waving at him from there!
Damage: d10 + 3 + 1 = n/a
Location: D4 -> E4

The central console's effectiveness ended easily once those of Order decided to focus their attention on it, but Basiluzzo noticed something critical as the influence of Chaos started to ease away from his brain. It was pulsing. That pulsing seemed very bad.

Perhaps it was best he actually... not stay here. That he found somewhere else to be.

As he turned to go, he realized what the flurry of activity was around the very unconscious Caedus. A knight had scooped him up, and a small gaggle of people were rushing toward him, holding what Basiluzzo presumed, at least, to be his starseed. Didn't look like anything Encke had ever described --

Oh. Encke was one of the ones holding the starseed.

And he was trying to give it back to Caedus.

And he caught Basiluzzo's gaze.

Basiluzzo did the only thing he could think of doing when he realized that Encke had spotted him.

The world's most awkward half-wave was his knee-jerk response, just barely contained away from finger guns--something that would have been disastrous considering the very serious mood. But he didn't offer much more than that, instead glancing around to see if there was somewhere he could disappear to without outright running away. He did not want to run away. He wouldn't be any use if he ran away.

Corrupt Sailor Hatsya
HP: 50/50
Action: Watching over Hylonome per Prehnite’s orders
Damage:
Location: B2

“I-” It took a long moment for Hatsya to force her trembling hands to stop shaking, to steal her voice so that she could speak without fear. “I’m fine, I’m sorry.”

The graceless Senshi of Swordplay moved so she could stand up again and offered a hand to the corrupt. “Captain Prehnite asked me to watch over you. I can only assume that you must have been knocked out by the generator when it was destroyed by the White Mooni.“ She nodded in the direction of where a half-youma Captain (Lavendulan) grappled with a Knight (Aventine) on the ground. Wasn’t something she felt inclined to get involved in especially since doing so would go against Prehnite’s direct orders.

Then again when had she given consideration to being told what to do? Until now, the answer would have been never. So, other than the safety she felt standing near-ish to the General Sovereign, and the desire to not engage in any more skirmishes, was there any other reason to obey?

Probably not.

But at least he decided to take Iolanthe with him instead of demanding she follow along when he sought to subdue more of them. With his personal youma beside him, he’d be safe and not have to worry about whether or not his back was protected. A perfect pair, the two of them and she marveled at how well and in sync they worked together.

“Are you feeling alright,” Hatsya asked out of genuine concern.

Corrupt Eternal Sailor Nembus
HP: 100
Action: Still panicking. Trying to reassure herself that everything is alright.
Damage: --
Location: C2

He sat. Good.

The deep blood red that kept flashing onto his uniform seemed to be easing back. Good.

He looked at her with gratitude. Good.

He looked at her with fear.

With dread.

With something that told her that he feared whatever was behind her smile, was behind her upgrade, was behind her wings -- it scared her, and she couldn't entirely keep that off her face. She breathed.

The field scared her. The calming scared her. The way she saw so many uniforms blink out of the white or the lighter color they originally carried into something else scared her. The way that more people would share in her own experiences scared her. She felt the overwhelming power of Chaos telling her that everything would be fine, but she wasn't certain if she wanted to listen to it, not with the extreme revulsion against what she just saw happening threatening to return to her mouth as bile, and she bit hard on the inside of her lip to stop herself from reacting.

This was fine, right?

This was great, right?

"Glad it feels better, Peacock," was all Nembus managed to say.

Sailor Eleonora
HP: 34 [50 - 16(Lavendulan)]
Action: Holding her sister.
Damage:
Location D6

Consumed by grief and overcome by desperate tears, Eleonora was unsure if she had actually heard her name or if it was by some wishful thinking that her mind had chosen now, in her moment of need, to play cruel tricks on her with the much-needed sound of a familiar friend’s voice.

Alcor remained cradled in her arms as she rocked back and forth, coming now-numb fingers through her frost-coated hair.

Her eyes opened, puffy and red-rimmed, she saw through bleary eyes a pair of familiar dark-teal colored shoes. “H-help me.” Eleonora tried to look up at him but got only as far as his blackening pants. “Athene, please.” She all but begged because she was not strong enough for such things.

“I can’t, I can’t lose her,” heart wrenched like something fierce; she pleaded with their once-mentor and long-time friend. Eleonora knew nobody else with whom she could turn to. “Please…”

She had thought if the generator was destroyed that this change would stop, but now she didn’t know. Didn't understand any of this and right now, wanted nothing more than to be back at home, bickering with her over some nonsense or having Liryn over for company.

Lost in despair, her gaze settled on another senshi in a similar situation as they were. A young girl with a cranberry-colored uniform; her outfit turning black as theirs were. If Athene is able to help Alcor, then maybe they can try to save the other senshi too.

Half-Youma Captain Lavendulan
HP: 33 [75 - 5(Cypher) - 6(Slidr)-14(Aventine) - 17(Aventine)]
Action: Attacking the Knight Aventine
Damage: 6(base) + 5(rank) + 4(rank) = 15
Location: B2

Didn’t have to be told twice to get off. That perfume scent was starting to burn her lungs and without being able to shift into her watery form, Laven wasn’t sure what else she’d be able to do to get rid of it.

Magic or not, it was giving her a headache; like walking into a Bath and Body Works after having some sort of sale where everyone and their mother were in there sampling each lotion and candle. How people could stand to work in such a place was beyond her, but this went beyond Wolframite’s almond scent to a degree that it made her miss the smell of him.

Lavendulan glanced over her shoulder to see if she could spot him and that small motion had been her undoing. The Knights flailing arms managed to smack her in the temple and sent her rolling off the side but not without the half-youma trying to grab hold of one limb to keep from hitting her head too hard on the ground or getting her horn stuck in the dirt.

Cadet Fysarius
HP: 45/50
Action: Going with Lyndin, obviously
Damage D10 + 3 (rank bonus) = N/A damage
Location: D2

This world was poisonous.

From where he stood amidst a rapidly growing group of cadets, Fysarius stared out at a ruined and bloodied battlefield. He’d always been skeptical: even before speaking to any of the humans, he’d felt fairly secure in the thought that he wasn’t especially interested in them. And whenever he’d had the misfortune of being nearby when one of them opened their mouths, the feeling was amplified.

The ill they spoke of their own kind, and the sort of detachment toward those less fortunate. Fysarius could hardly understand it. Earth’s own people did not seem to like or want to help even each other. Those here in this field hated one another, aggressively, with enough passion to die for it. Or kill for it. No one here was innocent or good. This was what they’d chosen.

No matter how they talked of “being allies” and “offering aid.” How could they possibly? How could they possibly when they couldn’t take care of this world or any other they served?

No one acted like they were allowing a civilization to perish. It was more important to try and lecture someone one hundred times the age and wisdom of any human here. The audacity. The audacity to even speak to the Commodore after attacking him, trying to kill him, interfering with the politics of their world. To “save” a man intent on letting others suffer. Heat prickled at the tips of his ears, wet dotted the corners of his eyes as he glared at the utterly ridiculous knight acting as if she had any wisdom worth sharing. What could Fysarius even hope to say to someone clearly so self-absorbed that she would understand?

Probably nothing.

Maybe it shouldn’t have been surprising. The whole plan had been to force a group of people into behaving how they wouldn’t choose to behave. And the Velencyans had been prepared to go along with that…

No one was innocent. No one was good.

More Velencyans had perished here than anyone else. The easiest targets. They shouldn’t have wanted to be involved in anything here. Shouldn’t have been so eager to participate in a world not their own. Why anyone would refuse the Commodore's summons, he didn’t know.

Fysarius glanced back to Ny, still on his arm, holding his hand. Obviously they would go back to their dying world together, and face whatever happened there. Anywhere was better than here.

Get off of this ******** disgusting rock.

Corrupted Super Adonis
HP: 47/75
Action: Loitering
Damage
Location: C4

Somewhere in that rain of hail and bullshit, he lost track of his new friend. Maybe they went back to D6, where it was safer, where the Negaverse could probably use the help picking up the bodies and the newly converted. That'd be smarter than sticking around this empty patch of grass. He told himself that at least there was another Negaverse senshi in his midst (Lionel).

And he couldn't deny that it gave him an opportunity to tune back in on the space opera in the middle. No way in hell was he getting any closer to that ******** up starseed, especially with the way it lashed out and burned everyone who was trying to carry it. Couple of the senshi had some crazy glow about them, but the one who helped carry the starseed? That boyo looked like he was ready to drop to his knees for Metallia.

Probably would have, too, if that last generator didn't blow. Adonis felt a little disappointed for how that lovely nest of chaotic energy dispersed so quickly.

So Adonis got cozy against a tree as he watched Tweedledee and Tweedletalkstoomuch jam that nasty piece of space trash back into the periwinkle corpse's chest. Who knows, maybe he'd wake up.

Corrupt Sailor Taenite
HP: 50
Action: Carrying Basic b***h Faustite
Damage N/A
Location: B6

Taenite let out a low whistle of relief when the second magical bone, presented by a White Moon kid (Monoceros), did it’s job and put the flame bound General back together. So go speak. There were still pieces everywhere. Gross. But at least he had a body back together now. Enough that Taenite could pick him up and move him.

“Thanks for the assist, now I’ll give you exactly ten seconds to scurry off before I kick you in the face,” he offered a friendly, cheerful smile to Monoceros. There was still black blood all over his face and uniform and once white hair, but he smiled brightly -- a warning -- as he knelt down to gather the bloodless half-youma into his arms.

“You’ll be fine, just walk it off,” he insisted, even as he hoisted Faustite into his arms. He was obviously not going to let Faustite walk any time soon. He was clearly too weak from being blown to bits and reformed. Thank goodness for magic.

“I’m serious about kicking you,” he said to the White Moon senshi with another flash of teeth, a little less friendly this time. He didn’t need his arms to do damage.

Eternal Sailor Lepus
HP: 43/100
Action: staying in E6 for now to keep the cheeb twins safe
Damage:
Location: E6

With the chaos subsiding, Lepus felt like she could breathe a little easier… sort of. The last generator blew in the distance just up ahead, though from her vantage point near the twins, she didn’t see the damage it caused… nor would she have likely wanted to, either. Her strange interests only went so far, after all.

Charybdis was wanting volunteers to go help retrieve her brother, and normally, Lepus would have been all for it. At the moment, though, she was down to her basic magic only, and had Aomori and Hokkaido that she needed to keep an eye on, being the mentor to one of them and all. Someone else volunteered, though, so hopefully that was enough.

“I gotta watch these two over here,” she told Charybdis, motioning to where the twins were cowering, “but I totally believe in you!”

Chibi Hokkaido
HP: 25/50
Action: still, largely, despairing and wanting to go home
Damage:
Location: E6

The wrongness that was in the air was going away, but Hokkaido didn’t feel any less better. They were still trapped here, and she was still frightened as to what was yet to come. Aomori was trying to reassure her, though, telling her they’d eat lots of snacks and play lots of Animal Crossing after this; Hokkaido could only manage a small nod in her return as she clung to her twin sister.

She was going to look for Rune, and hold the fluffy kitten real close after this.
