Everyone he'd met had had their motivations. And everyone, except maybe Coyote, now, seemed so sure about them.

Maybe one of the whispering voices was a 20-something year old Southern female weeping gently into her hands, brought low by sleep deprivation and eye strain.
Probably not though. Probably it was all glider pilots. He sailed off the edge of the world successfully for round three. Third time's the charm.

He felt sure as he closed in on the island that he'd be tossed wide at the last second by some cruelly mocking gust of wind, but it didn't happen. Instead he settled ungracefully but successfully, and tiredly reached out to take what was his.

Following something seemed to be the key act into doing things today. There was a glowing island in the distance that caught his attention, so that's where Liom was headed first.
There didn't seem to be a trial getting up but there was one getting down, kind of. Or at least using gliders. He stared at the apparatus, unsure of really how it was supposed to work. Wrapping his hand around the crank and wound it up... or at least he thought he did. There was a click, that seemed to be a good indication that he done what he was supposed to do, but hopping into the thing alerted him otherwise. The tension broke. Okay, time to try this thing again.

He went slower this time, wound the crank a little more carefully to get it just right. Or what he hoped was finally just right. He patted it gently and then got into the glider. It started up with a tremble, but then he felt a rush of air and he was off. Awesome
