--Aaron Leon Cecil--
The young man walked in stride next to the Teru, trying to ignore the hushed sobs of the Reyvateil he was carrying. He found himself mulling many things over again and again in his mind.
Aaron began to wonder if the members of the group who had Teru blood had overheard the conversation. That was what he worried about. It was why he'd tried to keep his answers cryptic and tried to discourage Hikari from talking about it so much. He knew that Hikari didn't know much about the outside world and the other races, having been locked away for so long.
He wondered what the Teru members of the party would do if given that private information about her. He knew next to nothing about them and he didn't know if he could trust them enough yet with too much of Hikari's past.
Aaron was well aware of many of the insecurities that Hikari possessed. Many of those were seeded in her past, and if a dishonest or wicked person were to have knowledge of it, he knew without a doubt that they could easily bend the Reyvateil to their will. Which was why he knew that he had to protect her. When I helped her escape, I had been confident that I would find her again. I didn't think she would vanish so quickly. Of course, he knew that it was partially his fault. He'd abandoned her so abruptly it probably was quite a shock, and she was likely terrified. Aaron was just thankful that Hikari had survived to this point. He had just been about to give up on the hope of ever seeing her again.

Miko~

The younger half-ling twin noticed that the familiar was acting uneasy around her, but whatever the reason she couldn't fathom. After all, Miko herself had done nothing to harm the familiar in any way. If anything, the familiar had threatened her life as she tried to shield the sick Reyvateil with her own body... Well, maybe it's because he's scared of Mana, I mean, I guess Mana and I are twins so we do look alike. She shook her head and gave up. Maybe Blitz would eventually warm up to her like he was with Nel.
It was just then at that moment Aaron passed by them with Hikari in tow. She blushed a little when she overheard them. It almost sounded like a lover's spat or something. Hikari mentioned something about revealing her heart to him and he responded that they shouldn't discuss this in front of everyone else. Given the visions of what she'd seen of the two, she'd already known that they were somehow connected. Suddenly, something clicked. Oh! I got it! They were close family friends and then they fell in love. She must have been taken away after that! Satisfied that she'd figured out a theory that made sense, she stared after the two. Maybe I can help patch things up between them. That way, Hikari would be happier too. She nodded and smiled to herself, a plan forming in her head.
When the other F.P.D. awoke, she noticed it and picked up the pace until she was right beside Gannon. She noticed the girl was half-sleeping still and she looked up at Gannon. "Are you both doing all right?"

Gannon…
Gannon turned to Miko and nodded, glad that she seemed to actually want to talk to him again. After her threats to leave before, he'd been worried that she'd take off. With everything they'd been through, it was a good idea for them to stick together. "I'm not sure 'bout her, but I'm alright. We'll be there soon, so she can rest. How are you holdin' up? Ya gotta be tired. All that healin' lately and now this. Anything I can do?" He knew that he'd hurt her before and it was just one more thing that he'd have to make right. But he'd have to put it off for a bit. At least until they were safely hidden.

Miko~

She shook her head. "No need to trouble yourself over me. I'm not tired. Using magic is second nature to me." Miko paused hesitantly, then added, "By the way, thank you for saving me back there." She quieted down, unsure of anything else to say to him. She still felt uneasy around him and she was upset with her sister still. If anything, Miko was thinking that maybe she'd made a mistake in coming along with them for this trip. Her place was at home with her aunt taking care of things there, wasn't it? She sighed and found herself turning away from the Teru, her gaze wandering over once again to the human. Miko caught herself staring at the human and Reyvateil and her eyes quickly darted to her feet again. This really bothers me doesn't it...

~Nel~
Nel skipped along beside the Teru happily for a time, almost oblivious to everything around her when she noticed that Aaron had fallen behind. The Reyvateil turned around in curiousity. It was then she noticed that the other Reyvateil girl seemed to be feeling fatigued and frowned a bit. "Hmm... I wonder if she's okay or not. Maybe later I should see if there isn't anything I could do to help her. Maybe one of my Songs might help her feel better a little later when we stop."

Gannon…
"No need ta thank me. We're in this together, eh? 'Sides, yer magic saved my a** more times lately than I care ta admit." From the sound of her voice, he could tell that she was still a bit upset about what had happened earlier. "I know a lot's happened in the past few days... I just wanted ta say thanks. I know it ain't much, but without you here, we wouldn't have made it this far."

Miko~

"Thank you but I don't feel that I've made too much of a difference. I'm certain that without me there you all would have fared just fine." She reached a hand up to the back of her head and winced. Miko had to admit that her injuries sustained from the battle against the F.P.D. girl were wearing on her quite a bit. She would just have to do her best and grin and bear it until they made it. Then, Miko had a feeling that she was going to crash.

...Tessia... Did she have anything else she wanted him to answer? Indeed, she did. "I think that's about it... For now, anyway." She pressed a button on her keypad and within a moment, one of the soldiers had entered the room. "I do believe we're done here. You may take him to a cell." Before the young man could protest, the soldier spun and struck with the butt of his rifle, hitting Nereus at the base of his skull with practiced ease. After the soldier struck Nereus, the last words he would hear before blacking out were, "This one's useless for now. Though, I'm sure we can find a way to make him talk once we get him back to HQ. Our main objective is still to find the Reyvateil and her vanguard."

Gannon…
The Teru continued to walk in silence for some time, lost in thought. He hadn't realized how long they'd been walking until the terrain began to become rocky. "Hmmm... Looks like we're here." Gannon glanced around before altering their direction slightly, heading for the far side of a small hill. "Mana, gimme a hand, will ya?" He shifted the Reyvateil who rode on his back a bit. He wouldn't be able to open the hatch while holding her.

Nereus Nereus felt something hit him on the back of his skull. When he heard the words he laugh inside, thinking, So I am going back there again. After that everything turn black. Once he woke up, Nereus found himself in a cell. He began to wonder if what she said was true, that the other two he was helping Hikari were here in a different cell.

Mana~

"Yeah, sure thing." The half-Teru closed the distance between Gannon and herself within moments, extending an arm out to recieve the girl. She took hold of the young Reyvateil from Gannon, simply holding onto her in a bridal carry. "So what're we doing out here anyway?" She glanced around the rocky terrain. "Looks like nothin' here but a buncha rocks..."

Gannon…
Gannon let her take the Rayvateil before answering. "And that's exactly what yer supposed ta think. The Teru held out a hand and focused his magic into creating block of ice. Once making sure it was the right size, he altered one end of the block, creating a key. "That should about do it..." The Teru moved to a large rock near where the group now stood and gave it a push. The large bolder moved far too easily. Underneath was a slot in the ground, the same size as the chunk of ice in his hand. He slid the key in and there was a beep. Instantly, a large section of rock slid to the side, exposing an entry way. "Alright. Everyone inside, quick." With that, Gannon entered the newly formed doorway leading down into the ground. "Watch yer step. It's a little dark down here. We'll have enough light once I get the generator online."
The Teru moved quickly down the flight of stairs into a short hallway that lead to a large, lightly furnished room. It was far too dark to go any further, so he waited for the others to join him.

--Aaron Leon Cecil--
Aaron nodded and glanced back for the other Reyvateil. "Nel, let's go, okay?" He called. "Hurry." He adjusted his arms and lowered Hikari a bit so she didn't hit her head when he entered into the cave while carrying her. He wasn't sure about how high the ceiling was so he didn't feel like taking a chance with it. Then, Aaron stepped down into the darkness of the tunnel. He ducked slightly as he entered, wary of the possiblity of a low ceiling but straightened a little when he realized the space was bigger than he'd anticipated. He stopped abruptly next to Gannon when he noticed the pitch darkness of beyond in the tunnel. "The generator, huh? Just how far is the generator?"

Miko~

The younger of the twins wordlessly entered after Aaron and Hikari. She was getting so tired that it was getting difficult to see straight. It was then she realized that while everyone else had rested fully, she hadn't slept as much, preoccupied with taking care of everyone while they were injured or sick. Miko halted beside Gannon patiently waiting for his next instruction. If she hadn't been so tired, she might have found it funny that she was now mindlessly following orders without questioning them, especially ones from Gannon.

Mana~

Mana followed her sister, the young Reyvateil in tow. "How the heck did you come to find out about this place anyway?" She asked curiously. Once inside, she rested her cheek on the top of the girl's head, frowning when she still felt the unusual warmth radiating from the girl. "Hmm... just doesn't want to break does it?" She muttered. The girl responded by burrowing her face into Mana's shoulder, seeking comfort. "Don't worry, you'll feel better soon," Mana promised. She stopped and waited for everyone else.
