Hello all. Just call me Oatmeal, I guess. I'm a zooby (a student at BYU) and an RM. I'm a nerd that's fascinated by Chinese, Japanese, anthropology, biology, chemistry, physics, math, sci-fi, capoeira, art, music, web-comics, comparative lit, comparative religions, cooking, sewing, and anything that catches my attention (ooh, a shiny!)

Hello,
I grew up in Orem Utah...I am 45 years old and have 5 children. The oldest boy is high functioning autistic. The second teaches break dancing for Academy of Ballet in Utah County, and is married. Then I have three girls right together that are 15, 13 & 12. I homeschool the three girls. They sucked me into Gaia. I got on to see how safe it was for them and the make sure their friends weren't stalkers in disguise, and became hooked. I am a professional costumes designer, and sell alot of cosplay costumes on e-bay.
Hope to meet more lds on Gaia to chat...After all we are a peculiar people.

Hello other Oremite! Could be she went to Cherryhill Elementary....I was PTA president there for the year of the winter olympics, and put on the big Olympic Program at Mountain View. My two sons went to Mountain View. Does your sister dance with the Academy of Ballet? My one son currently is living up in that area and teaches breakdancing with the Academy. He married an Aarington, (from the clan of James & Lisa Aarington)...James does the Faraley family reunion stuff. We probably have crossed paths at some point

It is so cool to find people that live around me biggrin . Pink I think that is so cool that you do costume design, that is so cool. Sorry I make costumes for myself for kicks and giggles (it is the only way to have modest cosplay costumes) I am thinking of taking a costume design class at school to help with my lack of skill. biggrin

Hey! I've been a Mormon all my life. Hah. I got my patriarchal blessing the sunday after my 15th birthday (which wasn't all that long ago!)
I'm a girl despite my avi. Hah, this is actually a mule, but I've been getting on this one more than my main lately.
I love tae kwon do. I'm a high-red belt (as of last saturday! Eep!)... and... yeah!
