OOC: WARNING for those of you feint of heart there is a tad bit of sudgestive material in this post if you have any problems with it I will change it but please just tell me that there is an issue instead of attempting to break my neck. It's there as it helps bring into light the true evil of a race of demons. Everyone in rp's tries to make the honorable demon. A demon is a spwan of evil and thus honor is useless to them, In absolute truth demons or pure evil in all it's ways just like christians views of the devil. I'm not about to make something evil look honarable or good instead I will play the Last-Soul-Demon as a true spawn of evil like he is naturaly. Also alike to how demons truthfully are.

This time running through the city the sounds of heavy batle lay behind him as the main event unfolded. He ran however to he lost platoon that was in over it's head. It didn't take but a minute for him to realize he was being pursued. He wasn't using any more soul energy so he would not be as fast as he liked. In fact all the heavy armor slowed him enough so the damned little humans where faster. He cursed his luck and turned. The advantage of his armor however was weapons with no power and not of a pristine make, could not even scratch the armor. Thus these humans where doomed. They didn't have the strength either to scratch it. It was fused by the combined souls of the Arch' (Devils and Arch Angels. Basically the same power. Demons
When Garakon turned his cloak flew into the first two humans who crumpled onto the ground with screams escaping the cloak. It was not visable what was happening but it was obvious no one would want to be within their shoes. The other pursuers all charged slashing but getting annihilated by the pair. In a matter of seconds the had all died. Garakon grabbed his cloak and headed to the back gate. Opening it was no challenge, however once through he saw his demons trapped in a circle fighting for their lives against a hundred or so more footmen.

Also in the center was a huge burly human who with each swing of his strange spear/halberd mix type weapon slew a demon. Garakon wasted no time and ran into the humas. At first this startled them as his arm was fast and several of the humans where dead in seconds. After about an hour ten demons and eight humans stood. The ten demons fought the eight humans and off to the side was the two commanders fighting it out. Both of their bodies had been pushed far they struggled to move their limbs so taking a momentary unspoken break the human and demon taunted the other while not moving their heavily heaving bodies.

"You're a freak and hell was too pretty for a place for the likes of your ugliness b*****d." The human spoke.

"You will see it soon and work as my boot shiner puny wimp." Garakon countered.
"Boot Shiner? You call those boots? They look more like the lips to a woman who's body has been overused and somehow lived to the age of 200." The human said looking at Garakons three frontal toes and the boots shaped perfectly to his feet.

"In that case maybe one of these ancient lips will be the last service you're homosexual existance will ever get." Garakon yelled.

Garakon and the human simultaneously charged. There where a few flashes and six clashes of metal. Garakon then passed the human and they both where left standing. They turned and Garakon smiled evily,
"You're done here fool." The human turned defiant as ever and his spear was missing it's end. Azmeredeth had in the last second used the sparks as a guise, Shot a small ray of firey lightning into a concentrated ring and perfectly cut the weapon in two. The human looked at the head on the ground and in his state of stunned astonishment felt Azmeredeth go from his left upper chest to his right lower hip. He was not perfectly severed in two and instead was left making odd noises in dieing matramony of pain, "I will get you someday...." He started and Garakon interupted, "Unfortunately not. Your soul will add to my power reserves, witness your last moments of freedom for my well of souls shall be your new home where the only mention of youre triumphs is your death. It will become one of your only memories in death." Garakon saw the soul slowly seperate fighting and then it come into Garakons body. If his power was visable the actual process would have been seen but it was not. Therefore the physical connection to one's soul the heart was where his soul appeared to go. Garakon then turned. The battle was over and the city won. In total almost all the casualties where from third platoon which was almost decimated. the lieutenant was dead. He would need replacing. The final seven standing where now considered the strongest warriors of Kilo Company.

The whole unit was assembled in the city square along with the women and children. The Whole city had been corrupted it took about an hour and unholy walls had been raised through dark summons in the places where the walls had been damaged. All the women Sixteen or older, where in front of the stage bound and gagged with only Garakon behind them, and a large cage behind him with all the children.

"Now My brothers we will commence with the corruption. Each one of you will get your turn, however first Third platoon you seven each take two of the females of your choice. From there on lieutenants you have the kill counts stongest to weakest for choicing. Make our tiny demonic infestations and ravage the women in celestial pleasure it is our way. They will bring us new companions, hopefully stronger but if not then you have more meat shields." In this the demonic children caused from this breeding would be born six hours from the deed. These children would then do one of two things. Be sent to a special place in hell where they where to be raised or if lucky they had enough power that is. They would bt put in a one on one fight with the older kids who's souls where not blackened into a demonic state and began a transformation into the unholy. Upon victory the little half demon would eat the entire body of the human which somehow has the soul infused to it become a full blooded demon with a slightly higher than average power and already be ready to join ranks.

Over the course of the next few hours these many unholy, evil, ravenous deeds where commited upon the hapless people of the city untill there was no living humanity left present. They had all died eventually to something. At this point the city was destroyed and had a barrier of evil magic around it. A foothold and an outpost on Earth against heaven. (Garakon finished all these deeds just seconds before Oni arrives at his Fortress. He would be informed of Kilo Company's succesfull campaign as they will currently garrison the now unholy castle.)

Raven Kanzaki
Nodding curtly, Raven stood to brush herself off. It would have taken more effort had she not used the weight of her armor to her advantage. Her cardinal Element, water, was always one for adapting. Raven herself was very apt to readjusting herself to her surroundings accordingly. It is why she succeeded as a spy where her Uncle Calutika before her had failed. Fluidly, the woman ascended to her feet. The cloak of Gray twitched before shuddering and expanding outwards. The eight foot wingspan allowed the hollowed bones to stretch and creak, sinew flexing and relaxing. It was highly unusual for Raven to call upon use of this. But the Seal had been broken and recast, and this the outcome. Willing them as naturally as any other limb, the wings settled, appearing to drape around her form once more.

"How will this be done?"

Raven was already planning on finding a way to alert Roan. An angry Roan always meant people ended up dead. She trailed after Light, when a subtle brush at her legs triggered her instant reaction to glare down. Jesta' prowled silently at her right, and seemed more lifelike than she had in the Earthly realm. Already Raven could feel the mental connection opening up like a Dam. Voices slipped in and out of her mind, the frequent thoughts of those around her, creating its own white noise inside her head.

Often it annoyed Raven, and she had long-since trained with Roan to control how much traffic came and went. But she felt it necessary, and perhaps this time around it would be more useful. Each thought had a tone to it that made it easier to identify. With the proper amount of concentration, it could be used to anticipate an enemy move. Unfortunately, Raven could barely reign in her Psychokinetic abilities.

"Well for now"
As he spoke he rose his left hand, palm kept as if to hold something unseen by the eyes-- that is until it started glowing white. Raven would start to feel comfortably warm as her body steadily started to emit a pale luster of her own, a veil of light lacing over her like a second layer of skin. She would soon start to feel an unnatural connection with her environment while feeling a subtle pulse of power flow over her. This energy was connecting her physical senses to Light's.

It was a common technique of his that he was now using for another purpose aside from fighting. The [Lock On] skill usually allowed him to sweep the field with rays of light to map out his environment or to focus on to the people around him. It gave him a sixth sense and it would now give Raven one as well. She would perhaps feel intimidated by the flow of information rushing in to her but it was something to get used to. The dominate feeling should would perhaps feel first would be Light's body temperature, his own infrared energy intertwining with Raven's. Easily, if she wanted to know how warm the angel was she could reach out and touch him but now with her "second skin" she would know without ever having to move a finger. This was one of the many things she would be able to feel if she wished to. That and the fact that she could feel that Light was moving. Naturally, Light was oscillating the light from her body to his for the same result.

"we'll start with our bodies. Over time we'll steadily start to move and feel the same. This "second skin" I gave you should let you know almost everything about my physical condition as it is for you. Also you can focus on a larger perimeter and know your surroundings better if you wish to."
-

Scoping out the scenery, the angel realized he hadn't had a good chance to really take in his surroundings. They were in a grassy field now, hills and valleys placed behind them. To the left he saw only more grass but in the distance there were low hanging clouds, ships in their own right as they sailed lazily with the wind. He could not tell what was beyond them. To his right was the same as the left...although he saw small white ruins littered about in the distance along with a river?. Interesting. In front of him was of course the outpost, a smaller town where one of the gates were. Two thousand people could probably live within it comfortably. From where he and Raven were he could also see another gate, much larger than the gate leading out. This gate was directly behind the small town, a wall that no doubt controlled the flow of people going back and forth towards a larger city. Celestial beings soared about here and there.

-

Anyway.

"I feel a little silly. Wingless here, while you've got 'em."

PostPosted: Tue Mar 02, 2010 7:48 pm

Raven visibly shuddered; The sudden onslaught in her body drowned out her natural connection to Roan, until she felt as though it snapped and faded away. It was slightly nauseating; her own Hybrid senses were not used to the purity and clarity of what she saw. It was true she was given the nickname the Demon's Eye, solely for the fact that her ability to intercept thoughts allowed her a much quicker reaction time.

"I'm a Celestial of a different sort. I like to believe that because I am a Hybrid, I have an upper hand in situations. The Crystal will be the one way I can effectively train to use chaotic energy. My family, the entirety of the Royal line, were born with wings to be used at will. Most of us did not. My demonic blood has altered the appearance of these wings. It is because I am in an entirely different realm that they appear as Pure as they are now."

Raven was beginning to make sense of what was going on around her. Somethings felt wrong, while others were beginning to feel more natural. Like each of the A.V.G. members, Raven had something she seemed to specialize in; something that made her stand out more strongly than an average fighter. Her eyes were unusual, for despite how she appeared to be Asian, her features were more cat-like; It was the reason her hair was so Black, and why her eyes were so Green with their cat-like pupils. Raven's vision was another reason one of her titles was the Demon's Eye. For several years, the woman fought with eyesight that did not exist.

This new vision, which she had seen Light himself use, felt as though she were peering into an intense microscope. The clarity was astounding, but Raven found herself adjusting to it easily. It felt as though when Light looked, she reflexively--simultaneously--looked as well. She was deeply intrigued. Her connection to Roan was more like a cloak of security. He felt her, whereas she could not feel him; It was his duty as her Gatekeeper. But here, she found herself on equal ground with Light. She saw as he did, and felt as he did. It were as though the tiny computer inside her mind were running running stats on him that she were linked to. Such an analogy was the only way Raven could keep from feeling overloaded with what just happened.

She knew that before too long, it would be time to alert Roan. It was time to call upon her second Daemon: her namesake. The index digit and thumb of her left lifted to her lips, and a shrill whistle pierced the air. She looked to the Gate they had entered, when a tiny black speck from the distance soared through. It would glide through the air, a strange, iridescent sheen mixed with its Black plume. Raven raised the left arm to the sky, her wrist exposed for the creature to land. The large, black bird descended gracefully, perching. It tilted its head in several directions.

"Gaagi..."
Raven crooned softly to the Raven that landed. His feathers constantly shifted and melded. "...the Traveler. The one who drifts not in light or darkness, but has the ability to drift between them both. Who takes the old and builds for the new. Steadfast, strong. I beseech you as Raveena. Fly to Roanaku, calm him, for I am well and will return to him when I am able."

A shrill caw, and Gaagi ascended high into the air. The Daemon flew swiftly from whence it came, descending from the Heavenly realm to fulfill her request. With a sigh, Raven massaged the wrist where Gaagi had rested, she slung the Lunar Scythe to rest on her shoulder, "These next few days are going to be intensely interesting." She remarked as she followed after Light, Jesta' still in step with her the rest of the way.

Sitting on a rock thoughtfully, An had decided to be his regular self for the day. To be quite honest, he hated being one of the leaders of Cruix- it was too much work, too much attention, and just too much in general. Most of the time, he could hardly talk to anyone. Their followers were always talkative, but never seemed to really say anything- perhaps it was because An was a leader of Cruix, an almost demi-god for their followers. As for the other leaders.... well, they just weren't very good conversationalists.

Decidedly David today, he began to reminisce. He missed the good ol' days- it had been such a long time since he had been able to peacefully loaf in a tree and take a nap. And god knows how long it had been since he had actually had any friends to speak of. Inferno was his friend... but, the Inferno that David knew was already gone.

Flipping his body around, David flopped the entire length of his stomach onto the rock, his thin body draped over the boulder. He was terribly bored- it seemed that things were stopped in time- the proverbial silence before the storm. He wondered what Light was doing at the moment... Preparing for battle? Probably. he mused to himself. Fingering a small crack in the gray boulder, his mind wandered for the time being.

With a heavy sigh, David surrendered himself to laziness.

The boulder An was laying on would suddenly drop into the ground, crack right down the middle and split into two. An would have a rude awakening. Dom would be seen walking up towards An, he didn't seem to be a very good mood and could anyone blame him. He was loosing everything around him, he was missing missing his arm and fighting the leader of Heaven had taken a great toll on him. He was still very weak from the battle. He would stop in front of An.

"It's time..."

He said, signaling An to get up. It was time for Cruix to gather again...

((Bear with me, I don't know exactly how long this post is going to end up being.))

User ImageIt was unknown even to him how long he had been walking but all Oni knew is that he could finally see the fortress in the distance. He was almost home and knew that it would be another battle once he got there. Kestral still had his contract and he would need to get that back to show Roy sooner or later but that could wait. As he neared the fortress the replacement gaurds would see someone carrying Roy, their leader, over his shoulder.

"HALT! Put down Lord Roy and step away from him slowly."

The gaurd was far larger than Oni was and but Oni didn't even pay any attention to him as he simply walked by him. The gaurd was stunned and turned to say something but Oni was able to speak first.

"He is no longer Lord Roy. He is no longer the Leader of Hell. I have best him in a fight and I am now the Leader of Hell. My name is Oni and the next one that spouts anything about Lord Roy is going to find themselves storming the gates of Heaven alone!"

All of the gaurds would fall silent as Oni walked through the gates of his fortress. Turning towards the first medic he saw he would signal for them to take Roy from him.

The medic would rush over to Oni and take Roy from him and disappear to the medical wing with him.

Oni would continue on into the throne room where he would sit down and finally be able to rest easy. That is until he got the report about Kilo Company.

"THEY DID WHAT!? GET THEM BACK HERE NOW!"

Oni was furious that one of the companys went out without orders from above. He was going to set the leader of Kilo Company straight the moment they got back.

Garakon looked around as the place had been rebuilt with his specifications. Certain strange looking devices had been erected. they would take the energy from the surrounding area so they could travel to hell if needed. This is when a small imp like messenger showed up in a flustered hurry.

"Captain of Kilo Company, your orders henceforth are to return the entire company to hell. This comes from the new leader of hell." The imp said then handed the proclomation over. He then turned and dissapeared into a small puff of flames. Garakon opened the scroll glancing at it. He shrugged, well news to him was the old leader was not big enough apparently. Slowly but surely the traces of the devil where slowly changing as the century's droned onward. As each leader looses more and more similarities. Garakon gathered the company and all the spoils. In about 15 minutes they where ready to return. He had the engineers set the devices to self detruct after sending the company back. This was so they wouldn't be followed. They shimmered to life and the company was once again on the large platform used for transporting large masses to Earth where the war would likely take on in full. The company began to head back to their living spaces and Garakon knew what was to come. A conversation as he would deem it for now.

His massive form would open the doors to the throne room and walk down the center standing tall and proud, something not seen in too many demons anymore. He remove his cloak and left it near the entrance as deemed a proceedure long ago.

On his right shoulder was the ancient rank which no one should be able to recognize. Oni might but it was doubtfull. The rank was changed when Satan fell. However Oni was in service of Kikyo his daughter so he may have been around when Satan was. On his left shoulder he held the newly acquired Double silver bars of Captain. He walked to 20 feet dropped his right knee in a form of bow and then rose clasping one massive plated arm over his chest in a form of salute, "Captain Garakon of Kilo Company reporting as ordered."

User ImageOni would sit there watching Garakon for a moment with his eyes never wavering once. His stare was cold, and almost lifeless at this point in time, but was still not a sight you would want to be given by your superior. Oni reconigized the symbol on his right shoulder but couldn't quite remember why, for now he just shrugged the thought from his mind and moved on to the more pressing matters at hand.

"Tell me Captain, why did you take Kilo Company to Earth without orders to do so? We have more important matters to deal with than making an outpost in a small and simple human town."

His voice was filled with anger and disapointment that one of his captains would do something so reckless in times just as these. He wanted to know what drove his captain to do something so reckless and foolhardy.

Garakon could see, feel and even taste Oni's anger. Oni was indeed powerful this excited Garakon however the anger was not a bonus. The only part of Garakons body actually visable on Garakon's body was his eye which glimmered through tiny slits in the massive suit of armor. Azmeredeth glowed slightly in it's sheath as it sent thoughts into Garakon's mind. The sword laughed and mocked Garakon telling him he couldn't tell this new leader the true purpose was to repower himself.

"Excuse me sir." Garakon started. His own voice had no emotion, no hint of fear or any other element. It made it seem as his voice had a powerful element of command to it. "The lower ranking elements of hell grew restless. The true inactivity of hell these times of past... Inactivity for the lower ranks, have caused unrest. this unrest has caused them to begn pokig their eyes and curiosities in places they aught not go. I took my company to earth as a distraction to distract all of Hell from what aught go on unseen." Garkon explained his original reasoning. He hinted at many things within that he himself might not supposed to have known. Regardless he put out his case. He mentally berated Azmeredeth in case someone of psychic elements was near. He reminded Azmeredeth of the many scrutiny's of hells political offices.

User Image"Hell has had it's hardships this is true. If the lower ranks have any issues they should learn to speak up. As for them peering and poking where they shouldn't they will learn their lesson about that in due time. But the unstable time of Hell is now over. With a the first firm leadership since Kikyo's disappearance Hell will find the stability that it needs and wants. But we don't have the time nor the man power to waste on keeping a single company distracted."

Letting out a long sigh Oni would stand up and stretch for a moment. He was still a little worn out from his tedious battle with Roy and facing Kestral before that. He needed to rest and rest he will soon enough.

"The mortals were no threat to the company, it's the other forces that I am talking about. And I don't mean the angels. There is a lot going on that you do not know about yourself and by taking your company to the surface you risked not only their lives but your own as well as man power that Hell cannot lose right now. Our best fighters have gone missing and your carelessly taking our men topside for petty reasons."

Oni would go silent for a moment before turning away from Garakon as he began to walk off towards his chambers. No doubt they would need to be remodeled but that could wait until he had some rest.

"Garakon, I will overlook things this time. Do not let it happen again. I would continue on with this conversation but I need to rest. I have a long day of searching ahead of me tomorrow. I must gather our fighters once again for war is upon us. Be ready."

With that said Oni would give Garakon the signal that he was dismissed as Oni disappeared through the exit at the back of the throne room. He was going to sleep and gather his thoughts.

((Sorry I'm cutting this short. Oni is drained right now.))

User Image Garakon listened and watched Oni. If he had truly wanted to he may have been able to overpower the man at the moment, however hell was not in this form of a chaotic political situation. Aside from the he wasn't interested in the throne yet. Hell didn't look the way he wanted it too for that. He was interested in the words. They told him things haven't been good which explained a good bit of things. Garakon had been out of the loop for too long so it wouldn't be surprising he could fill the guise of Captain so easily. He didn't have the knowledge that someone of his power normally would. Not to mention he was hiding his power levels from the rest of hell. He got up and turned around walking out grabbing his cloak as he left. Hell had indeed changed if conquest and blood was no longer looked at as glorious. Aside from that he had just been berated. This was shocking indeed. From the olden days he would have been praised. Victory, glory in annihilation of enemies. This told him the whole attitude had changed. Hell had become dormant. Only one thing rang in his mind relentlessly... Why?

If Oni decided to look up the old rank to refresh his memory and maybe get some back info on Garakon he would find it had two places where it was held. In all of Hells history only three ever held this rank. It usedd to be known as Colonel, however it's basically back then the same as 1 star. Later on the Rank was shifted to the third seat of power in a special group known as Helion. Now the full history of the group is not recorded. The group was made of the Devils most devout warriors as well as his best. His best friend was the first seat, and the brother of his best friend was the second. Helions purpose was to hunt down and destroy those who planned to overthrow Satan. They did this very well for 42 years. Then things got crazy within the group. Evidence was found to frame the first and second seat for wanting to overthrow Satan. The battle to destroy them was enough to almost annihilate Helion. The first seat was killed by the third Garakon while the others managed to take out the second. The first seats soul was one of the two used to make Azmeredeth. After another five years Helion had never recovered it's numbers and was one fifth of it's original force. However they still had Satans favor but this favor didn't seem so big as Satan was heartbroken. He seemed weaker. This is where there was a massive battle which was labelled as the Soul Demon's war. This is where Helion was supposedly annihilated. In truth there where five surviving members. Garakon led the five for an additional five years untill Satan found they planned themselves a hostile take over of Hell. The emergency meeting for Garakon was called where he was sealed. An hour after that the four other members where turned to stone in Garakon's home. To this day they are still there. However historically based on record the last soul demon was killed in the Soul Demon's war and so was Helion. The name's of the first three seats also are missing from all the records.

From the shadows spawned Sera, dressed in his formal, Kimono-esque Cruxis Robes and his porcelein, Kabuki Wolf mask, he was positively bouncy with jubilance as he was getting ready to head out for another sermon. Sera stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Ann and Dom, and smiled underneat his mask,
"The Shadow Realms has been effectively taken care of, and the tower is set to-"

He stopped mid sentence when his eyes focused enough that he could actually see them, and Sera's brain reeled in exactly what condition they were in.
"OK. Who, what, when, where, and why?"
He rapidly stopped being jubilantly bouncy, and shifted his weight all onto one foot, while folding his arms across himself. His gaze hardened as he stared them down; in particular, his eyes pierced through his mask and into Dom's-Who, currently missing an arm and bleeding on the floor, was quit the spectacle.
