Faith. It's what keeps people going.

Faith. It's what gives people hope in times of darkness.

Faith. It's what empowers the gods and keeps the divine kingdoms and the underworld in existence.

Faith, It's what started this war.

It all started way back when, with the Angels of Old and the Demons of New. Each side wanted to prove itself better than the other, be it stronger, faster, or wiser than the other. In order to do this, each side needed followers, mortals that placed faith in one realm or another, because, be it Angels, Demons, Gods or Goddesses, they all draw their power from one place: Faith.

In the spiritual realm, the only way to truly gain power is to have more mortals believe in you, idolize you, spread your name about by shouting it into the heavens or cursing it down into the Hells below. It all started about 5,000 years ago, when some Angel or Demon, God or Goddess contrived the idea of a holy war. A simple thing, really: Whisper into some mortal's ear that they should go and rally up other followers to go smite the followers of the other side, in the name of whatever god that told them to do so.

So, here we are, at the present, 5,000 years from that faithful day when the 1st crusades were executed. The Earth is ravished. Numerous amounts of wars and unspeakable horrors have almost depleted the Earth of any life and any hope of recovery. Divine beings, Leaders of both sides, have destroyed their creation in an epic battle; simply to prove who was better than who.

Yet, despite the bleakness of the earth, people still maintain faith. Some praying to Heaven to end this war, and allow peace to gently flow back into the earth, restoring it to it's former glory. Some pray to Hell, in order to end it all and allow sweet oblivion to come and take everyone to the underworld. Yet, the majority are praying to a new religion, formed on the wings of hope and the curtails of destruction.

This Religion preaches that the world can be saved, that all can return to peace and prosperity. This religion stresses Humility and respect to strangers, listening and following the requests of others as a simple as they would grant the request of their loved ones. This religion teaches that no one goes to Hell or any sort of place of punishment after death. According to the scriptures of this religion, those who are pious and pure enough go to their own, perfect paradise, while those who have not achieved such a state are reborn; granted a new life and another shot at salvation.

This religion is rapidly gaining power and popularity amongst the masses and ex-followers of Heaven and Hell, stealing them away two fighting religious factions of old and guiding them to believe in a religion of peace, love, and prosperity. This Religion is called Cruxis, and it's teachings are called "The Four Paths to Salvation."

Not much is known about this religion, this organization called Cruxis. What is known is that there are four Ideals, four entities who guide Cruxis and whom the Paths of Salvation are based off of. There is the path of Sera: The path that emphasizes good judgment and leadership above all else; The path of Dom: The path that implores Self-Empowerment above all else; The Path of Rom: That path that focuses on Pure Creativeness; And finally, there is The Path of An: The path that focuses on a Love of Nature.

These paths are the founding core of Cruxis, what the leader's preach, and what is ripping the fabric of Heaven and Hell apart. In their current states, it won't be long before Heaven and Hell are defeated, vanquished by Cruxis' absorbing of all of Heaven's and Hell's followers. With Heaven and Hell rapidly declining, the old religions did what the knew best: Continued mutual destruction of each other, while sen ding an invitation to Cruxis.

Cruxis' reply has been to ignore any attempts made on them, and to call such attempts misguided and ignorant; non-progressive to the true goal of Salvation. However, shortly after speeches of such caliber, the God or Goddess, Angel or Demon that incited the attempt tends to go missing, only to show up dead.

What does that mean? No one can say. The only thing that is left in this world for anyone to do, is to pray. Be it at the Tower of Salvation, at the Heart Mts. The last remaining spot on Earth where there is any energy left, or at the old shrines to Heaven and Hell, the mortals all pray for one thing: The hope that the world, one day soon, shall experience Salvation.

Rules are the same, but this time if you die... you stay dead. You can make another character.

((Maybe you haven't been around, but I do keep draka up to date on things, I speak for myself by the way. I have been busy, I have a life outside gaia. I don't need to report to you, last time I checked you weren't very active yourself. Again, I sent you a pm, read it. If you want to help bring this back to live, then thats the best way. otherwise don't sit there acting like we aren't doing anything. "Regulation" on our words, look don't put my words with his. I have made effort after effort to get this thing started.

Second I don't care what you dislike, crew or not. I have been stressed out of my mind lately, and so has everyone else. I have been busy, Dantes has been busy, Draka has been busy, etc. I am not in the mood to be put on the spot. All I asked is that you don't go around changing my post or anyone else's but your own. I didn't ask or expect a comment back, just do it. And finally, no more posting on this thread, if I remembered there is a thread for this discussion or take it up in the pm's. Enough said.))
