Dom stood there, with his one and only hand covering the wound of where his arm use to be. He would then set fire to himself! Inferno's expression didn't change at all, after all a fire lord couldn't be burned by his own flame. When he took away his hand, the wound was burned shut to stop the bleeding. Inferno was more than irritated with Kite mocking him. He would begin to take a step forward when he noticed Kite pull something out of his pocket. Even Inferno's eyes were shocked to see a dimensional mass. How the hell was that possible? He would expect nothing less from the Leader of Heaven and an old comrade/rival. Inferno's flames could do nothing against such a thing, not even Hell's Fire would be worthy to handle such an incredible counter strike. Did Inferno bite off more than he could chew?
As Kite threw his weapon and it split into ten parts, Inferno could only hope to find away out of this situation and quickly put an end to Kite before things really turned the tables on him. Any ground base technique Inferno had was also useless considering as it split into ten parts, the vary ground was being ripped from the surface. To top it off he had one arm and couldn't use Carnage! Inferno would jump back and ignite himself. At that very moment, even though the mass wasn't close to him, his flames were still being pulled away from him and even 'suffocating' themselves. "Son of a ...." Inferno landed on the ground as the mass caught up to him. Kite would witness Inferno being ripped to shreds within a matter of moments. The power and energy signature would completely disappear as well.
When the dimensional mass closed and was over with, the ground before them was torn apart, and the area was silenced. The battle was over, Kite, Leader of Heaven stood victorious. Would he now advance further to the Tower of Salvation and stop Cruix's alone? If he was even thinking about such thing, suddenly the vary ground he stood on would explode in a raging fury of fire and rage, as raw power was being used. A grand massive of lava would blasted out around Kite. The amount of lava was the size of a small lake, but it would be more than enough if Kite was caught in it.
"LAVA PRISON!!"
A finisher move being used, the lava would attempt to wrap around Kite and crush him with more force than necessary if he wasn't incinerated by the intense temperatures. If Kite was caught in this, his body would be pounded with pressure from all sides, enough to shatter any barrier or defense before Kite would be buried almost a hundred feet into the ground. A massive shock wave would level everything around them. This would seal Kite's doom and put him in his grave for sure if he wasn't able to escape. Escape, speaking of which how did Inferno manage to escape from a dimensional portal!
The answer, he didn't. He was never hit with that attack. What Kite saw was a hollow Inferno. Hollow Inferno? In other words a fake, when Inferno landed on the ground after jumping back he would quickly use the heat from the fire he ignited around himself to push into the ground. That heat was super heated plasma, which would almost instantly melt the ground around him. He used it to mold a copy of himself while he would sink into the ground and hide til the attack was over and done with. While underground, he would use more super heated plasma and over heat even himself! To gain the amount of lava needed within such a sort period of time. Inferno after the lava prison would raise to the surface, he was leading forward and showing great fatigued.
He now had no more lava as a defense and would assume Kite was taken care of. "Good bye....Kite." He said grinning a bit behind his mask. An insane twisted look could be seen in his eye, did Inferno really succeed in taking out the Leader of Heaven?

Kono knew from experience that Inferno would not be taken down by such an attack. It all happened in an instant, And Inferno Being underground amassing energy for his next attack would not realize until it was to late. Kono could hear kite in his head still. Kono Had been holding Kite in his body. wanting him to see the end of Inferno. But Kite had seen enough. he knew the outcome of this fight. and wanted to give Inferno one last farewell, He wanted Inferno to see him die. hoping as he had before that Inferno could be saved. And so, Kono finally let go. He let Kite go.
Kite looked back at Inferno as he arose from the ground he smiled at him. Knowing this attack was putting him in a pickle indeed. equaly winded Kite managed to have one final goodbye to his friend before he would leave this world forever.
"Good Bye... Inferno." Kite said with a smile as Inferno's attack Overtook him. He was vaporized instantly with a smile on his face, having given Kono all of his power he had nothing left with which to defend himself. he was as helpless as a powerless human that he was born as. His Life had much meaning and he had left his mark on the world, but it was time for him to leave.
As Inferno watched Kite It would occur to him that it was in fact Kite his attack had hit.. and not Kono. As they had split kono escaped the attack hiding in a dimensional pocket waiting for the attack to finish. then he would appear again in front of Inferno. Breathing heavealy as the toll of keeping Kite in his body as Kite had been deteriorating had taken its toll. Sward drawn with a smile on his face enjoying Inferno's facial expression. mask or no, Kono could see right though it. and as Kite last request Kono would remember that face untill his dying breath.

Inferno's twisted look would disappear seeing Kite be annihilated by his Lava Prison. Inferno couldn't believe Kite had finally fallen, the Leader of Heaven had met his fate. Heaven had a long line of great leaders. Going back to when Lankerkin ruled, the glory days of when Inferno first met Kite. Kite, like Inferno climbed the ladder of Heaven's ranks. It's what made him and Inferno rivals, and because they had numerous battles against and with one another they knew each other too well. The chaos beam did it's job, and weakened Kite beyond hope of surviving this fight. Ironic, because when Inferno and kite first collided in battle, Kite had stood victorious.
As the lava settled, and harden, Inferno couldn't believe what he was looking at. Kono! They had split from each other? Something Inferno has never seen in all the days of knowing Kite. Inferno would reach behind him and grab ahold of Carnage as it was fully charged again. His lava prison used a great deal of energy and power. For Kono to still be standing was a miracle, maybe there was a God. Inferno would point Carnage at Kono because things were now getting serious.
"Why don't you just die?!"

"You cannot Kill me Inferno, your power cannot match that of the Leader of Heaven." Seeing Inferno reaching for Carnage he smiled "You wont be able to hit me with that. It wont work." Kono said as he smiled at Inferno. "Your face says it all hidden behind that mask. your scared. you cannot hope to win here, not like you are, hiding behind that mask. Why don't you let yourself go and Turn into the Dark Prince you once were? Show everyone your true colors Inferno."

Inferno stood there, believing what a glutton for punishment Kono really was. Inferno would slam Carnage into the ground near him. "So you want to see my 'truly colors' eh?" Asked Dom as he reached up for his mask covering half of it with his entire hand before gripping the edges of it. Kono was right, Inferno couldn't beat Kono in his current state because he was holding back. Just as he was when he was Dom. But now all bets were off. "You are about to witness a power not seen for thousands of years, you should know not to play with fire...Someone could get burned!" Inferno was about to remind Kono why he was the strongest fire demon. Like Kono, Inferno also was a leader at one time and was feared by many. That chaotic power was about to reawaken.
Inferno would close his eyes as he would rip the mask off of his face. There would be a giant jump in his energy signature now as the very air became violent with an red blazing aura that was raging around him. The flames would roar as they came alive around Inferno, incinerating his pitch black cloak. The mask in his hand would burn away into embers as it was no longer needed. The ground around Inferno melted around as the vary heat around him could vaporize just about anything. With an loud boom and a flash, his appearance would now be completely different.
Uncloaked and unmasked, this is Inferno’s true form. This demon is truly a spectacle to behold. Upon his demonic form it almost looks like he baths within ash. His veins are visible as red lines engraved upon his skin. His hair is no longer hair but a strange extension as if his skin was a living flame. His skin almost looks as though it is many pieces of armor clasped upon some flaming embodiment. It is however a demonic skin and has many horns and spikes off it along the arms and shoulders. The skin is a lot harder than typical human skin, but by no means strong enough to repel any blades. His body acts much like a human, yet there are utterly no internal organs. In this form, there is nothing to limit his flames and intense temperatures as they melt the vary ground he lands on and act as an automatic defensive shield that completely surrounds him.
"Becareful what you ask for..."

David twisted his arm so that the inside of his arm faced towards Light's incoming fist. When Light's fist hit, his arm folded in upon itself, David's elbow shooting up with the impact. This softened the blow, and although his arm would be bruised slightly, the attack had been made otherwise ineffective. David continued his movement forward, bring him closer to Light in order to stop his other attack. David's left arm made a sweep inward, moving Light's other fist to the outside of his guard. With a quick movement, and a twist of his his right arm, David grasped Light's arms with his own, and would follow up with a bone shattering strike to Light's ribcage with his knee. Yet, as his knee shot up, he would pause mid-strike.
It was obvious that David's mind was wandering, with Inferno's own fight being so close. David was now looking at the fight going on behind Light and David, who had thus far avoided being detected by Inferno and Kite- which was partially why he was fighting Light in hand-to-hand combat. "It's been a long time since I've seen that dread figure." David said, to no one in particular, though his face was only a foot from Light's own.
"Light. Do you know why I must let Kite die? Not Cruxis, but me. Fear and chaos. If the leader of Heaven were to die, then, without a head, what can the body do but flounder around?" David said quietly, almost as if he were sharing a secret with Light. This was only a glimmer of what David had in mind, but the implications were enough for Light to know that David would not stop here. David retreated once again, something very strange for him, showing just how truly confused he was at the moment. Though he was committed to his path, and would defend it however possible, David did not know he truly had to fight Light. They had been friends once before- would they still share the same trust they had before?
"I cannot tell you anymore- I ask only that you trust that I know what I'm doing." Now, David was becoming serious. With this final statement, Light would either have to back off, or continue fighting David. Water would shimmer on his skin, forming a shimmering armor on his body. While this happened, clouds would form overhead- there was no doubt that Kite and Inferno would notice that there were other forces at work now- while a dense fog would begin to roll in at Light's and David's feet.

Not bad, but it wasn't enough to keep Light at bay. Light made a simple twist of his right arm and pivoted around to remove the grip David had on him. His right hand would sweep down while his left hand moved forward to parry David's knee away, regardless if he stopped in mid attack or not.
There would be silence.
Light would listen again to David, quietly taking in what his friend had to say. After all was said and done he would glance back to the fight between Dom and Kite before looking back to David with a smile.
"I trust you. I always have...I'll let you in on a little bit of knowledge. Things aren't always as they appear. I'm going to Kite now..."
Light's image twisted and flickered, his blue eyes remaining as a faint glow in the air and a glint of light on David's liquid armor. As blatant as the information was that Light left behind it had a very deep meaning behind it and to what Light would eventually do.
A bright light would suddenly flood the area where not only David was but Inferno and Kono. The light would intensify and refract to blind everyone and envelop each warrior as the energy started to become more potent to disrupt people's readings of energy. With that Light was dashing for Kite before Inferno simply blew the entire place to hell.

Light's efforts were grand, and quick just as they needed to be but his light would appear to go nowhere near Kono nor Inferno. As Light dashed in to help Kono he would slam into some sort of transparent barrier. The level of such a spell to remain hidden and keep out any opposing forces was incredible. Light at the speed he was going would realize this after he hit it. No matter what Light did, there would be no reaching Kono, the barrier was impressive and a number one use for any Cruix's member. Being as it was, used by Inferno, it made the perfect distance. This barrier was meant for one thing, to keep people out incase the other Cruix member failed to do so. On top of that, that barrier wouldn't allow anyone see pass a few feet. The only thing that could be seen was their powers levels and signatures and a few flashes here and there.
However Kono would be able to see Light clear as day , this would be a sign of hope. But Kono would have to make a choice. Even though Kite was dead, the energy from the chaos beam would now begin to continue weakening the body, including Kono's energy sources. With out Kite, there was nothing hold back that negative energy from feeding off of Kono's physical body and vary energy used to keep him not only alive but to defend himself. Kono would have to let Light in by destroying the barrier from the inside, a danger move considering his situation and being trapped in there with a furious fire lord.
((Light, You are right on the money but Kono will have to make a choice to let you in, this is how everything falls into place. Kite should be online tomorrow, around the same time he has posted today. See if you can be on tomorrow so we can finish this final part.
David, awesome job holding back Light, but AFTER Light interferes and does what he needs to do, you should show up next to Dom.))

Lillium looked down as the rock she stood on continued to fall. Her facial expression didn't change much from the normal neutral look. She looked over at Roy with a raised eyebrow.

As Oni made contact the familiar feel of his hand ripping through flesh would send a very familiar feeling through his body. It wasn't a feeling of disgust as most would feel, but rather a feeling of enjoyment, unfortunately it would be short lived as that feeling was replaced rather unexpectedly with the one other feeling that Oni knew, pain. As the sword was turned in his wound Oni would almost succumb to the pain but would instead use that pain. He would channel this feeling to better fuel his body, make him move quicker and more precisely. Unlike a normal fighter who had a wound that would normally prove fatal, Oni would instead use the pain caused by it to fuel him. The increased adrenaline would push Oni past his previous limits, capable of much more than ever before.
Although before he would have a chance to use the 'ascended' form, Lance's attack would begin to move in on him causing a change in plans. He wasn't sure just what Lance had planned for these hands of his, be it just a way to hold Oni down or if it was in an attempt to use them to crush him. Fortunately for Oni, his escape of this was already predetermined. Some would say fate was on his side this day while others, such as Oni, would just say that Lance just chose poor timing to execute his move. Why was this? The waters that Kestral had released were upon them already, and those very waters were Oni's way out, which was more of a relief to Oni than one might think with his leg still being partially frozen this would allow him to escape without having to use much of his own energy.
As the waters crashed into him Oni would take a deep breath and close his eyes as he began to focus on his own body. The waters would knock him to the ground and send him forward towards Kestral's leg, but Oni had no control over this at all. While he was being tossed and turned in the waters like dirty laundry it was obvious that a change was overtaking him, other than the wound in his abdomen being healed. But what exactly was going on? No one would know, until the waters settled and revealed Oni once again.

"We don't have much time, we need to leave this area now." Said Roy looking back at the heated battle as it seemed more and more fighters were arriving. Things were getting out of hand, and he could only hope that Kestral and Lance were alright.
