((How about we wrap this up in the next two posts, Tali. Getting too tired to concentrate fully.))
The ribbon's of Protean's essence once again merged to form the phantom werewolf's true nature once again. Now back in his white and black striped form, he simply hovered in the air, his arms crossed over his chest with that same disdainful look on his face. He was disappointed that his last manuever hadn't worked, and with the way he was now he could no longer get close enough to Taliman, especially with that field of evil around him. Ice blue eyes narrowing, Protean slowly drifted to the ground so he was on his feet again. When he spoke, his voice had indeed changed, sounding more like a collective than a single entity. "Hiding behind your sword, eh?", was his only statement.
At the moment, he couldn't do anything. But for the time being, Taliman was too busy hiding behind his precious black blade. What to do? What to do?
There wasn't anything he could do. So the only thing he did was take a step back and released his hold over the spirits within his body. One by one and then in huge groups, all 75 of the wolf spirits left and departed for the Spirit Realm. As they left, the coloring on Protean's body returned to normal as well, meaning that Spectre was now off. With a small smirk, the werewolf bowed and then stood up. "I concede. But, I still think of you the same way.", he said with a mocking tone in his voice. With that, he turned and headed out the arena doors, a noticeable limp in his stride.
That match was definately up there in terms of difficulty. And he definately had his share of bruises on him. But, he did his best. And in his mind, that was all that truly mattered. He knew there was nothing he could've done that would make Taliman any different than he was now. He knew that he probably wouldn't win. This match was more of a test to see how he would fare. So far, he thought he did pretty good. Not bad for a new fighter in the tournament.
((Eehhhhh, too tired to go on. Thanks for the spar, Tali. Damn Shinorei Blade. XD))

*As Protean drops back to the ground, in his physical form again, the barrier drops, and the sword once again vanishes. Tali has a mission to complete, and no matter whether or not someone approves, he can't let some unworthy trash defeat him until he has completed his task.
His brows raising at the fact that Protean seems to be finished, he throws his head back and laughs outloud with a cruel, mocking tone. He folds his arms across his chest as he regains his compsure, straightening his neck again and responding with a chuckle breaking between a few words.*
Keh, is that it? I expected more than this - even of you, Wolf-boy!
*Watching him walk off without another word, the fox demon shrugs, sighing with disappointment. He was at least hoping to flex his power a bit more, when he hasn't even used a sixth of strength. Then again, he wasn't expecting much in the first place. His power drops back down to 1,000,000, and he looks around with a casual glance, finding little interest in hanging around any longer.*
Well...that helped a little...
*His face grows a little more blank and thoughtful for a few moments, and Wes closes his eyes. After a second or two, the usual spike of ki occurs, and he warps away.*

As Protean exited the Club Orion, he couldn't help but feel a little different than he was earlier. Like the top of his right hand was tingling. What he found there when he looked on it was enough to make his eyes widen his knees slightly weaken. There on his hand, was a white and glowing Celtic Pentagram.
This can't be... I thought I lost this forever. Protean was literally dumbstruck as he walked through the woods, heading towards the Darkwood, where he called home. Memories of his time as a Leader of Hell's Haven came flooding back to him. How one day he simply woke up to find that the familiar pentagram marking had gone. What was funny was that it happened the day before his old home was destroyed off the face of the Earth. At any rate, the werewolf now possessed something that was once his and his alone. The power of Fenrir. He couldn't help but smile as he walked home. The tournament now just got a lot more interesting.

With the spare clothes that she always kept down in a locked away drawer, Reya had finally changed out of her pajamas and into something more suitable for a beach. With that in mind she thought that a nice trip to the hot springs would be in order. Although it's not exactly beach looking, Reya had not even been there before. So she figured now would be as good as any day to start visiting the springs on a regular basis. She got out of her stool and began to skip downstairs, when all of the sudden she already heard voices. Company was not what she had hoped for, but what the hell? She soon realized that the voice was in fact Grey's. Could her luck be any better? With this in mind Reya sped up her walking pace into a light jog. She sat herself on the edge of the hot spring and soaked her feet in the warmth of the water. "Hey!"

After a long chat with each of his toes about manners and keeping themselves to themselves and not bugging the others, he heard a voice approach. Turning around, he sees Reya, and his mood is instantly improved. "Hey there, sweetness," he swam over to her and smiled, looking up at her with wet hair and a few droplets of water on his face. "How'd you sleep last night? When I woke up you were gone," he added, playing with one of her feet under the water while keeping his face tilted upwards in her direction.

Reya started to laugh. She hated to be tickled regardless of who they were, however she would still laugh. She then replied back to him inbetween cute giggles. "Good, now that I'm back in my own room." Reya let out a sigh or relief after reminiscing last night. Her soar back had finally healed and she left invinsible. "Oh!" She remembered what she was going to ask him in the first place. "Whatchu up to down here?" Her mouth held open as she waited axiously for his response.
