An old man wearing a Chinese coolie and with scythe on his back, dressed in typical farmers clothing hobbled up and watched. An odd sight to see, two girls runnin up walls and a cat just a sittin there. When he was a boy, them girls be workin their tail off in the fields with everyone else. So would the cat! No one got none work ethic no more. Now they just playin their run up vertical wall games all day.

"Now listen here you youngens! Yas aint nuthin but spoild kids. Aint done a full days work once!"

Shaking his fist angrily and muttering, the man stood there. Deezers hopped over and sighed heavily,

"Can't be serious about anything can you?"

The man just stared down the cat and laughed,

"Of course I can. There was the brief moment between when I got to Ame and when I got some dumplings, a moment where I saw my brother die inside, I was serious for a few seconds . . .then I got dumplings. They were really good dumplings. So how've the kids here been?"

Deezers was somewhat mortified,

"Wait, It already happened to Errent? You couldn't stop it? Will he be fine?"

The old man laughed and pulled of the hat, beard, and rags for farmer clothes. Underneath lay some leather clothing, a stylish hat, and a small guitar. He also wear a happy man's mask to hide his real face

"Don't worry about it, look I brought dumplings for everyone! Cassidy! Aribeth! Come here, I have food for you. While you eat, I will sing you a tale of the time I met the man who broke a dragon's heart."

He strummed his guitar a bit after he set some dumplings out for everyone. Deezers looked slightly annoyed,

"So you're not going to tell me anything about what happened to your brother! That is so li-"'The Man who broke a Dragon's Heart! Now he'll sleep for a thousand years!!"

The bard-man interrupted Deezers with his harmonious song, as he beckoned his students to join him.

Giglamesh continued reading quite deeply, but still he found nothing it only said to use your second sight, but it coudlnt be hearing as some techniques make no sound and some are so fast that they move as fast as sound. Did this technique really require a kind of telekensis, or was there simply a seceret some where in the tech that he coudlnt find. Possibly in involved the stance, perhaps it lied in the the five foot radies circle around the user, perhaps the stance and the circle some how mixed on a subconcious level. It was unknow for now and he had finished readin it, aparently this techniuqe would not be as easy as previsouly speculated, what was the seceret of it how exactly did it work. He though back on the main teaching of the Lunar cycle blade.

"Where ever there is a attack there is a opening in the defense, as only threw that hole in the greatest defense can a attack be made. Some time that opening is large and sometime it small, but there is always a opening one must find this hole, as ounce the hole is found the defense will fall. Even the lunar cycle blade has this hole, but that hole is always covered this is the puporse of having two blades. Never attack with both blades one attacks and at same time one covers the hole from the attack. Like the moon we must always come ful circle to attack and defend, to defend and attack cover are weakness with our strength. As sure as the moon must follow a certian path, due to that very same path it always changes. Keep your self as a circle, keep yourself as the moon by continueing to circle you keep your oppnent guessing, keep your oppenet guessing and you keep him defending, when he fianly thinks he sees a moment to attack he will open that defense wich he has been set on and with the moons certain but uncertion rotation his opened forced guard will prove his setting."

Giglamesh would set the scroll in his lap thinking aloud. "In combat everthing come's full circle by flowing with this circle and not agint it one potentil can be matched.........but none of this helps with this technique.....what is second sight?" Giglamehs would place his elbows on his knees resting his head on his hands looking out to the river wondering. As always the massive river flows at good speed torwards the village, the cold breeze comes off the water and the wind blows from alla round with the wind no where to go it seems to circle around in the canyon. As he watched the water even in the fast current fish were leaping upwards out of the water to catch low flying bugs, such as dragonflies. Giglamesh even related this to the full circle teachings, To attack and eat the dragon fly the fish must come out of the water, thus leaving it open to attack from somthing else.

Ironicly seeing the fish made him hungrey while sitting on the rock giglamesh would grab two of his kunais from his left sleeves both of them had wire attached to them, and he would wait. the second a large bass would leap out of the water at a dragon fly giglamesh would basicly just flick his wrist throwing the kunai's at the fish, the would fly with great speed and both would literaly miss the fish, but he woudl tug the wir causing both to turn at the other, they both sicricled around and ended up wrapping the fish as they circled the wire got shorter and eventualy they would both peirce the fish. At that point giglamesh would begin to pull the fish back quite fast, as it began to struggle for life it basicly skipped across the water as giglamesh pulled it to him.

The mans tale caught Aribeths attention all to well. Losing concentration she easily quickly fell down on her butt once again. Standing up she winced out agony, she walked to the bard while rubbing her rump. She looked at the dumplings that the man offered her. Staring them down for a second she picked one up and licked it before she tried to bite into it. Eating one of them she started to hum the Dango Dango song while consuming one of the three at a time. After finishing the straw of three she looked at the bard and wondered who he was.

"Well Mr. Mystery-man, may I ask for your name?"

She said while reaching out for another skewer of dumplings she ate the top one relatively quick.

Giglamesh would quickly notice somthing, as this fish was pulled in evertime is skipped across the water, even in the water fast current, it would ripple. With the question of what to do next still fresh in his head, he noticed somthing as the water rippled. Giglamehs would basicly put the image in his head of the attacker where the fish was and giglamehs to the side of it, the ripple would ripple back and touch him. "thats has to be it vibration!" He would of seemed to figure it out vibration was the key to the technique, by standing in the circle and focousing on the feet, more speficly the right foot wich touches it syensative toes down to the ground as they not putting weight on to tht foot, as the oppnent steps in the circle vibraton from there step can be felt and the mind would then have it chaes to dictate how it was attacking and therefore move and counter. He had found the answer to it, on ground it would be far to hard to do, but the shinobi way tought him a way which it would be easier on the water surface!

He was going to have to train on the water at first untill he got used to feeling vibrations in his feet. But first he was going to eat, as he pulled this fish in so it didnt touch the ground he would whip the wire with left arm and as it whiped the fish somehwat high in the air he would jerk the wire back prettey hard. He would catch it and remove the kunai and wire replacing it back in the sleve. He would use another kunair to very easily remove the scales and the head from the fish. after impaling the dead fish he would do a few hand chakra seals and suck in air miolding it with chakra as his cheeks poofed out some and then lightly blowing the air mixed with chakra out. It resultd in a decent stream of fire quickly cooking but not burning the fish. He would stop shortly after as the fish at best might be alittle warm but not cooked all the way, but to him that was good as he hated burth food. He would literaly begin to eat the fish ight off the kunai bone and all execpt the scales and head wich he alreayd removed. It wassent long at all before he was done and now it was time to try his guess.....but then he though how was he suposed to make a circle in the water?

This complicated things, he now knew how to do it but before he could do it on land he would have to reayd himself for it by traning on the water's surface. The problem was he cannot make a circle in the water, so now he had to dwell apon that. To make matter worse the sun was alreayd beging to set so how exaclty would he continue? With the sun setting he knew he wouldnt get any traning done, so he began to walk back now thinking on how exactly he would be able to do this on th water. As he walked the clone would begin to follow but the clone would seem to break down somewhat as it lookd like a fetureless statue but it suing same mass it had before would shape itself back in to a man wearing a large white hodded robe, the front opened wearing desert camoflauge shirt and pants, the odd thigh was it seemd to have no mouth. giglamehs with the clone following would begin to walk back torwards the village, giglamesh thinking and the clone simply following.

The bard stopped singing about wild dragon tales to look down at the girl. He set his small guitar aside and stood to her, shadowing her as she sat. Darkening his face, nearing as the sun was soon to set.

"Who am I? Who am I? Why, I'm none other than Devin Namas! Spreading my wondrous stories throughout the land with Song!!!
Why just last week, I was sitten by a pond!
Mindin my buisiness at the break of dawn!
It was at that moment I heard him call!
The looming man who rose thirty feet tall!"

The man was now strumming his guitar a bit while Deezers sighed in utter annoyance with this singing fool.

"He was three stories large, and ten feet wide
Makes the ground shake with every mighty stride!"

Deezers couldn't take the idiocracy any longer,

"Krayte, you're being ridiculous and immature! Aribeth, this is Krayte Marrion, your Sensei. . ."

Krayte would've argued with Deezers, but he was to deep into both character and song

Aribeth chuckled as she saw her sensei put on a glamorous display of both the theatrical arts and musical as well. She finished off her second helping the skewer of dumplings as she keep in awed at the performance that Krayte was playing. The act was quite to amazed by. Although she never saw Krayte out of character. Rarely she saw him out of the acts he was preforming on stage, but she still enjoyed seeing him as he is 'naturally' as some may put it. Looking towards Deezers she an urge to just ask.

"Is he always like this? And you just relay what ever it is he is trying to say?"
PostPosted: Sun Dec 16, 2007 8:31 pm

Krayte, or Devin ,or whoever, was long off on some tnagent of song, not noticing anyone around him. Deezers sighed heavily, listening to him go on and on.

"And I know you hate me, and you got the right
To kill me now, and I wouldn't blame you if you do.
But ya ought to thank me, before I die,
For the gravel in ya guts and the spit in ya eye
Cause I'm the . . ."

Deezers tunned out from the song when Aribeth posed a question,

"Not quite . . . Krayte has thousands of personas. I've never seen the same one twice. You just have to naturally expect him to be anyone he wasn't last time you saw him. I only assumed it was him when he was a farmer who torn off all his clothes to reveal a bard persona, that gives it away a bit. But you do get used to it . . .eventually. . ."

He looked over at Krayte, who by know should be finishing his song.

"And that's how I saved Christmas!!! . . .

Ahh, so what has a bunch of kids like you spent your days doin? I might want to make a song out of one of your stories!"

[Enter from Badlands]

Reck and Ananube had finally made their way to the Abunai Canyon as they stood on the ledge of the cliff looking down into the canyon unable to see the bottom of it from the dark terrian. He then turned to Ananube and pointed down into the dark canyon.
"So what were looking for is somewhere down there? Are you kidding?"
She turned to Reck and gave him a slight glare with a little smile as if she was confident that they could do this easily.
"Yup, but it will be easy. Im looking for a rare plant that usually can only be found on nights with no moon. You see, this plant blends in so well with it's terrian that its almost impossiable to find it in the day or when theres light. But, the plant illuminates itself in complete darkness so you can only find it in the darkness. Got it?"
"So we just have to find whatever glows here. It does sound easy."
Ananube then frowned looking down the cliff to see if she could see anything yet.
"But there is a problem. Once removed from its natural location, you cannot let it touch sunlight orelse it will die instantly. That's why we have to be back before the sun comes up. You still think we can do it?"
Reck looked down the canyon still not seeing anything and turned back to Ananube and gave her a thumb up smiling plcing himself into a crouching position.
"We'll make it. I'll find it and get you and the plant back to the village. I'm gonna get a closer look down there. You wait here and tell me if you see anything."
And with that Reck flipped over and jumped into the dark canyon climbing down the sides being almost completely blind by the darkness.

Reck made his way to the bottom of the canyon unable to see any farther than 5 feet infront of himself and up the cliff to Ananube. He began to walk around aimlessly looking for anything that glowed in the least but he could only see darkness. He walked a little farther and tripped over a rock and almost fell into the stream that went through the canyon. Wasting no time he got to his feet and walked around again but looked back at the water for a moment thinking how clear it was. He could see his reflection in the water. He turned back around and looked to his left and right a bit then looked up the cliff to Ananube and yelled to her.
"Hey! See anything yet?! No luck here yet!"

Ananube yelled back down to him still franticly looking around the area for the glowing plant.
"I don't see anything here but it has to be here! This is the only place it would be!"
Reck looked around again still not seeing anything out of the ordinary and yelled back to her hoping that they would find it in time.
"Don't give up yet! There's still time! Just keep looking!"
Reck spent hours walking up and down the large canyon not seeing anything at all that glowed or shined in the least. He moved rocks that he had the strength to move, climbed the sides of the canyon looing into the cracks but nomatter where he looked he couldnt find one. They were almost out of time since the sun would be coming up in about an hour and Reck was a little exhausted from all the activity and Ananube was half sleep as it was now. He didn't want to give up but there were no plants in the canyon. He walked over to the stream to get a drink of water before they made their trip back on a failed mission. He crouched over next to the stream and got a handful of water and drank it looking at how clear and shiney the water was. Reck was about to get up but then it hit him, there was no moon light so why was the water so shiney? He lied down and placed his head under the water looking around and saw a small field of plants under the water glowing just like Ananube described them. He quickly grabbed three in his hand and came out of the watter getting to his feet and climbing back up the side of the cliff energeticly.

Reck made it to the top of the canyon looking over to his side to see Ananube sleeping next to the edge curled up. He quickly ran over to her and shook her to wake her up holding the plants in his other hand.
"Ananube, wake up! Wake up! I found them!"
She slowly woke up and when she saw that Reck had found the plant, she jumped alittle and smiled getting to her feet with a shine in her eyes.
"Y-you found them! This is great! Oh no...but the sun will rise in about 30 min and the village is a good 2 hour walk from here, even if we run it will take more than 45 minutes."Reck smiled and handed her the plants crouching down away from her.
"What do you mean we? I can make it in 20 minutes. Hop on and we'll be there in no time."
She stepped towards him and looked at his posture for a second. She stopped and looked down trying not to tear up a little.
"No, your too tired to make it. You haven't rested at all and your body is being pushed. It's ok. I'll just wait till then next moonless night to get the plants."
Reck didn't want to admit it but she was absolutely right. He was exhausted and was pushing himself just to move at all. He looked back at Ananube as she started to cry and he tensened his muscles yelling at her.
"Hey! We didn't come this far just for you to say nevermind! Now trust me, I can make it back in time so get on!"
She jumped when he yelled at her but she straitend out after he was done. She wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded quickly as she got onto Reck's back. He stood up slowly and took off running towards the Badlands.

She took a deep breath and tryed to figure out what could possibly make up for her current lack of strength... perhaps kicking it higher? Hitting it at a different angle... no... though those might do something, it wasn't hoe sensei had done the technique... she had to do this the right way... no shortcuts...
