There was a source of comfort in coming to the cliffs once more, picking up a glider and taking off into the sky. A sense of freedom as she escaped from gravity, and the disturbing feelings she had from the latest tasks.
That was until she felt unease and worry take over her mind, realizing that oh yeah, she could frigging fall and kill herself from up here.

Instead of the usual voices and feelings, her world was plunged into fire and screams of terror. She banked to the left to much, the glider turning at a sickening altitude as she worked to get ir on the right angle once more.

Ruse was gonna use that wind, and she did just that, her glider soaring high above as she expertly flew it towards the islands, landing right in the middle.

Sarviur found the hut that contained the gliders again and slid one out. It gleamed. He wound it, and hopped in.

It was truly beautiful here, but Sarviur had little time to appreciate the serene landscapes of World's Edge: he passed through fog that murmured, and he felt the world dropping away beneath him, and with it, his stomach.

More fog. Sarviur wasn't so sure he should dodge it: the gliders were harder to control than he'd initially found, but not so difficult...he'd have to take a dip, though, and he was not willing to do that.
It needn't have mattered: the same proud voice from so long ago whispered in his ears, and Sarviur felt peace again. How could he be frightened here? He was only doing his duty to his Goddess. The voice was so, so lovely...

Sarviur swerved to avoid it but did not manage to, and had to adjust his course again. Perhaps he shouldn't be dodging, but he disliked the idea of feeling more wind against his cheeks. But that was a fear, a weakness - one that he'd long since needed to get over. The Ruin Goddess had reminded him of that, and perhaps when he did he'd be prey no longer.
