Leon had never been so glad to have the mandatory rabies shots from Life labs. The chainsaw made the barest of cuts along the cloaked fighters side. So close, The life hunter could taste the flesh just as much as Nidhogg was begging for it.
he let out a started yelp as a canine bother decided to interrupt his stride. The dog must have smelled his dear sister off his clothes or something, probably going after his shoe, the mutt. It was a pain as he shook the dog creature off. "get off me you flea ridden mongrel!" he barked back and charged back onto the main focus of the attack.
the others didn't matter.
Nothing else mattered till this thing was brought to its knees and finished. This time the other jab to its arms felt more solid.

Shehk said nothing as she was attacked and in fact almost seemed to move into the very attack itself - albeit whatever had been going through her head at the time was a mystery even as the axe cut into her - then through her as her body twisted into fog then reformed, leaving only the gleam of her eyes for the brief moment of dissipation. Eyes which seemed to taunt him despite the solidity of the hit he'd gotten in on her - blood could be seen seeping through her clothing on one side, but it didn't even seem to register with her.
It was as if her actual sense of pain and fear had been shut off at some point in time - or something had triggered an emotional numbness inside of her.
Either way, Rep seemed inclined to keep her off of Caelius - which just meant the muscular sun hunter was a near meatbag for Shehk to try and snack on as she suddenly launched herself at him in counter.
She'd simply find the first large piece of exposed skin she could and sink her teeth into him.

The enemy had run away, and before she could even decide on a new target Caelius had decided the hunters needed a talking to. Sherry agreed with everything he said. She knew what being a Hunter meant. And she'd tried her best not to forget it.
She didn't spend much time to contemplating things, though. The enemy was back, and the fight was on. Things were clear this time. Sherry knew what she needed to do.

The black dog didn't obey the hunters command. Nor did he back back off as though he were a good dog. Instead, as if provoked by the comment, he snapped at him again. Though, rather than bite, he opted to slam his body into him instead. Hoping to at least knock him off balance and ruin his next attack.

Harrison finally felt his knuckles unstiffen, his body released from the electric shock that had fried B0nez's system.
B0nez was frantically scabbering around in the back of his mind. ALMOST, ALMOST....HEY! LIGHTS ARE BACK ON! YOU GOING TO USE THAT CHARGE OR WHAT. IGNORE CAPTAIN STATUS EFFECT, DEAL WITH THE MOBS.
He spared a look at Dakota. He hadn't had anything to say after the speech, glowering and tight-lipped. He'd heard the speech before. Rep didn't matter to anybody, he was a waste. That folks felt justified in doing what they wanted to and with him. Harrison wasn't going to attack Dakota.
He and Rep had the same thought. Caelius wasn't a heavy weapons user, but they both knew about that killer range, and getting close wouldn't pay off for anybody.
Rep lunged for Shehk.
Harrison crossed his blades looked down the V they made. They'd done this a hundred times in FPS games. And while Harrison had never hit a single thing with this charge ever, he and B0nez had been practicing.They moved together. They lined up their sights.
When he uncrossed them, a ball of electric energy barreled into her.

Roland was stumbling still reeling from failed attacks and other things. All the chaos commotion. He raised a hand suddenly a purple tendril shooting out wrapping around his throat cutting his voice short.
"Hyrk!" Was the most he got out as he found himself tugged closer to the purple creature. This was not at all good.

Trying to fog-form around electricity was a horrible idea, Shehk discovered rather quickly as the electricity caused the half-watery form to suddenly sizzle and hiss before it reformed into the slightly more charred looking pricolici with fog billowing out of her mouth, making nothing more than an enraged and feral growling noise.
She didn't have to justify herself to these things - meals that they were. In fact, Harrison's attack, despite the lasting damage, prompted a singular response from Shehk: She just started to laugh.

There was only one thing to do right now, and that was to get rid of this creature. His first attack might not have hit, but after that speech, it seemed there were more hunters starting to attack now, and since the creature clearly wouldn't allow itself to be defended or healed, it was only a matter of time.

Yin's return response brought a small smile to Alexander's face, even as he continued to defend the former gym teacher, blocking attacks that were directed at her, unable to stop them all but still doing what he could. Working side by side with Yin, a feeling of resolve, of near comfort.
And then he was being shoved. Red was pushing past them, yelling at them all for trying to keep her safe for harm, and the zomboil frowned. No, this wasn't right! He had..they had been trying to save her! Of course, it had to be the insanity. If they could just cure her, then everything would be fine....
But then she was gone, disappeared into the fog, and Alexander turned a helpless gaze towards Yin, at a loss for what to do now, their efforts having been completely in vain.
And then she was back, and Alexander watched in horror as she grabbed a hold of his zombro, watched as his friend, the one who had been there for him through thick and thin, who had never turned his back on him or slammed a door in his face, was dissipated in her hands. He swallowed hard, pale eye wide as panic began to clutch tight at his chest.
"No.." He whispered, searching, looking for the other zomboil, waiting for him to reform. Surely he was going to reform...
"No..why did she..no."
He just couldn't process this.
No action taken.

the buzzing in Leon's head was only growing louder. Like a annoying horn that refused to run out of aerosol. and the mutt that refused to let him go was almost equally as annoying. the life hunter hiss and bit his lip and flung a coin from his pocket away from him. "Go fetch that and ill come by to hack you into pieces later Ol' Yeller." the athlete grumbled and took a page from the dog's own book and used a body blow on the creature they were calling Red.

Miss Red came back and attacked a student without giving him a chance.
Miss Red absorbed Mort, and all Yin could think was about the fact that Mort had been one of those abominations.
Like Alexander.
He tried to get his Fear to well up and cooperate, but managed to fail miserably. He had wanted to add that extra layer of protection, but apparently getting it to work once had been enough. "Alexander, do me a favor? Run, run away, and never return. Just walk away. I do not care if you walk into a group of hunters just keep away from that thing. I will come with you if you wish." Dissipation was one thing, Alexander becoming part of a woman was quite another.
