    Hello, my name is Sofi and I have more nicknames then you can stick a shake at. I am 17 years of age and I will be going into my senior year of high school. I've been on Gaia over a year now and I will have been role playing for exactly one year tomorrow. (Happy birthday to Kin, my first ever OC!) My favorite type of RP is Maximum Ride or really any other type of series-related RP. I have dyslexia. I'm not a faker; I just don't let it get in my way. I learned the copy-and-pasted spell check trick a long time ago. I also love Google as a spelling tool. Despite my actions I am actually very, very easily intimidated. I'm frightened by things like random PMs and people I don't know but I try not to let that stand in my way either. I feel like I've been talking about myself for a long time now so I'm going to leave it at that. Dear fellow role players,
I present myself as a poet. At least that's what I have been doing lately far more than role playing. I am still practicing my art, so beware my random poems that may appear occasionally. But I am here because in the past, and still when the planets dare align once more, I have role played, and wish to role play some more. I thank Hoshiko104 for inspiring me to give it a try once more, due to her profile. Many funny things adorn her page, and among them, a role playing banner. I will try to join any of her role plays if some are still ongoing. But before doing so, I've read the rules and would now like to offer a slight presentation of myself.
I'm greatly interested in the Japanese culture, I love fantasy/medieval/vampire/magic driven novels of various mature degrees. I enjoy organizing events occasionally, climbing mountains to feel like I'm ''At the top of the world'' and as I said above, I like writing poetry, mostly free verse and just as it comes to me. I'm also 27 years old. Nuf said.
Here is my RPing experience:
1999-present day
Long long long ago I started playing D&D tabletop 3rd edition. Now I'm on 3.5, and will never adapt to 4.0. One druid, a vampire, a bard or two or three (or four?), a swashbuckler, a warrior, a mage or two, a sorceress or two, a few attempts at thievery, the occasional healer and other things still. I even DMed and created a nice little world to coughtorturecough entertain my players (mostly use them as guineapigs to expand my world and have a good time).
I also did some Live Action Role Play in college in Vampire: The Masquerade for a year. That was a blast, but I wasn't much of an actor. Eventually it got fun, but I still have some ways to really get into it all the way.
2004-2008ish
Long long ago I used to roleplay on www.rpghchat.com
Many words were written down. Three characters were created:
Alexandre Delacroix: A man that developed the power to manipulate gravity that has become a reknown adventurer and scientist. He roams the earth, being paid by wealthy people to discover and understand gravitons.
Alisa Hope: The character that was once called Kirika Yuumura. Her story began when the anime ended and with so many unknown elements of her past, I have role played her onward with brief flash backs of her unheard of past.
Ariel Jennings: A female lycan, 194 years of age, somewhat abnormal according to certain descriptions of such creatures, but normal for others. She was once an aristocrate that fell due to a dark curse. A mercenary for hire is her current job in present time. Nickname: Thriller.
And so, that's about it for now. A short introduction for once!

P.S.: Gaiaonline won't let me edit my signature as the website is truly and absolutely bugged. Since forever, be it on firefox, chrome, IE and other web explorers, this website has never appeared (or rarely) nicely. If someone know how to fix this....I'll give you 100 gaia cash somehow.

Anyway, I like reading, writing, and no, not arithmetic. Also babies(but they don't like me), Harry Potter(and he doesn't like me), and talking way too much(which leads to people not liking me).
My favorite color is purple, new favorite series is the Shannara series, favorite TV show is The Last Airbender(can't wait for Korra!), favorite food is sushi.
One more very important thing: I'm human and I live on Earth. Not getting any more specific than that.
Soldat, I've never had your issue.

I've had errors with editing my signature on Gaia, but nothing to the effect to which you describe...maybe you have something blocking Gaia from loading correctly? Like not letting a cookie or some kind of firewall? Not sure since it isn't my area of expertise :/
