Daiki merely chuckled and gave a nod as the braixen showed an interest in hearing some of the stories sometime. He'd was absolutely positive he'd have more stories by the time they met in the real world. And he'd be more than happy to share some. Unfortunately, now was not the time nor the place. There was a young bat with big ears around, and something had come up. A big, monstrous thing.
Daiki couldn't help but hesitate as he came upon what had to be one of the worst things he's ever seen, fighting other pokemon. It was really rather frightening to him, especially since he was relatively inexperienced in fighting. It took him a moment before he jumped in, unleashing an attack he didn't know he had, raining what looked like little meteors down onto the atrocity. And damn, if that didn't feel even more draining on him. With a snarl, he unleashed another of the same attack, crouched with one hand on the ground. It took him a moment after attacking to recognize that the braixen next to him inquired about how he's holding up. "I'm holding." he replied briefly.
Not too far away, Medicham could be spotted. He wasn't exactly helping in the fight, it seemed, but rather, looking around for something. or someone?

Again the creature staggered from the volley of attacks striking its body. The towering monstrosity let out another booming roar, this one clearly of pain. Darkrai looked visibly worried as his creation stumbled. In desperation, the horrid creation swiped randomly at the hoard of pokemon around it. Although most of the pokemon would find it easy to evade the slow paws, the baby noibat that joined the fight wasn't so lucky and ended up swatted aside.
